We have stayed here twice now and the location is ideal for exploring Paris and there are great places to eat nearby.

Perfect location and setting. Lovely breakfast.

For the price I would have liked a TV in the room.

Paris ist immer eine Reise wert! Das Hotel liegt mitten im Leben und ist dabei nachts ruhig!

Frühstück fein, Lage super - zentral und doch ruhig!, Die Betten können etwas breiter sein! Empfang sehr nett. Wir waren zufrieden und kommen auch gern wieder.

Die Betten sind zu schmal! Wir hatten Zimmer 114...

Great one week stay with family in this nice and very well located hotel

Staff, reception and breakfast, very nice, polite and efficient. Hotel very well located, two subways stations/lines within few blocks and several restaurants few minutes walking from the hotel. Excellent breakfast with different options. Room very quite and we had six great nights.

Room and bathroom were small. Garden deserver better care, even considering that was winter.

Ein schönes Hotel in einer fantastischen Gegend.

Das Frühstück wurde auf Tabletts serviert, es war recht übersichtlich, aber irgendwie nett angerichtet. Die Dame beim Frühstück war sehr zuvorkommend.

Was mir gar nicht gefallen hat, dass das Personal vor Gästen streitet, es war unangenehm und unprofessionell. Wenn Fehler passieren, sollte man dies diskret mit den Kollegen besprechen. Vielleicht dachten sie, ich verstehe kein Französisch.

Ho trovato Parigi molto pulita e i Francesi molto cortesi

L'albergo si trova in una posizione comoda per gli spostamenti (200 m dalla Metropolitana10) che ti permette di arrivare facilmente nel centro della città.Inoltre è vicino al Pantheon ,alla Sorbona e al quartiere latino .Vi consiglio di cercare rue Mouffetard una delle vie più antiche di Parigi costellata di locali dove poter mangiare. Le camere sono un po' piccole ma la pulizia è impeccabile. La colazione è abbondante e viene data la possibilità di scegliere tra dolce,salata o salutista.La scelta ci ha soddisfatto

The unprofessional hotel staff compromises the objective quality of the structure

The hotel has considerable charm, in the center of Paris, with a lovely courtyard that allows the rooms to be in separate buildings from the reception

On the evening of a cold and rainy day in November, we realized that the room was cold and the heating was off. Notified the reception, we were told that "due to an eco-friendly policy of the hotel, the heating was normally turned on when guests arrived in the rooms." After this initial surprising response, already irritating in itself, it turned out that an electrical block had occurred in the hotel's central systems. For about an hour, the hotel staff was unable to treat customers with due care and the necessary professionalism, nor to come to the room on their own initiative to ascertain what had happened, nor to propose effective solutions to alleviate the guest discomfort. While waiting, in the cold in the room with our coats on, and in the total absence of information from the hotel staff, it is easy to imagine the level of irritation and nervousness. The inexperience of the receptionist and the absolute lack of contacts and professional assistance from the hotel manager made us feel totally abandoned to ourselves. The only effective solution proposed by the hotel was the use of a portable heater. Some of the sockets in the rooms were not working and the use of the sockets near the bedside tables was dangerous and not healthy for sleep. We decided to sleep with the portable heater turned off. We have also to report the very bad conduct of the hotel manager. Without ever having sought any direct contact with the customers exposed to such serious inconvenience, she decided to communicate via Booking.com chat, asserting that we had been disrespectful and that we had shouted and threatened the staff. Then she decided, "for the mental health of the staff”, to arbitrarily end our stay early the next day. These statements are not only false but offensive and harmful to the reputation of the customers.

Superb

The property had an authentic Parisian feel. The court yard was absolutely amazing to sit and have breakfast in every morning. The staff were absolutely wonderful and happy to help. The location is absolutely perfect with a lively restaurant precinct just up the street as well as public transport on the doorstep. Once you close the hotel doors it feels like you have been transported a million miles away it is so quiet. Will return if we are ever in Paris again.

Could use a fridge in the room but staff were happy to store items in the fridge downstairs.

The second room was so cute with the best wall paper. Breakfast was amazing.

We were initially given a room that was ugly and as small as a closet. We complained and they moved us to a cute room.

A beautiful retreat.

Love the location and the quiet garden. Feels very secure and safe. Rooms have a lovely ambiance. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hot water was very inconsistent in our room. I’ve stayed here before and not had this problem so I assume it’s related to the room location.

Beautiful French Villa with gardens set in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a real gem. Friendly helpful staff and a superb location for getting around. our room was so pretty and clean with spacious bathroom. There is a great choice of breakfast, all organic produce served to each of us on individual trays, delicious! We will definitely stay here again.

beautiful location in an old building wrapped around a courtyard breakfast was excellent with multiple options old fashioned charm room had heating and air con lots of local restaurants nearby two metro stations nearby

noisy plumbing noises disturbed our sleep bath was not accessible however this maybe available in other rooms

Amazing stay in a country escape in the middle of the city

Great hotel which feels like a country escape in the middle of the city. The place feels like in the country side and is very peaceful and quite. The rooms are very cute, the staff extremely helpful and the breakfast very good and of high quality. The garden is a real germ!

Only two very little things: The beds and pillows are a bit hard, also the bathrooms felt a bit out of date.

Lovely stay!

The hotel was very cute. The location is super. The interior is very french chic. Staff is super kind. They even had a surprise for me on my birthday!!!

The only disadvantage are the sizes of the room. They are quite small. Also the bathroom is quite small. In the morning you can hear doors opening and closing, especially when rooms are cleaned. However, I would definetly go back again.

When you are looking for silence, calm and rest choose Hotel des Grandes Ecoles! :)

When you enter the gate of the hotel you feel like you are entering another world. There is silence, calm, beautiful nature, an even more beautiful porch with lots of tables and chairs. The entrance to the hotel is convenient, with a remote control. The upper floor can also be reached by elevator. Rooms are really beautiful, floral wallpapers are very cute. Bed is comforrable. Rooms are cleaned daily. Service is at the highest level - there was no problem to get along in any matter or for example to borrow iron to the room :) Guests can controll temperature in the room themselves :) The location of the hotel is excellent - near to the Pantheon and many restaurants or bakeries. Thanks a lot for nice stay, it was great pleasure to stay here :) hope to see you soon!

Boutique charm in a faultless location.

Surprisingly beautiful !

The courtyard of the hotel is lovely and beautiful. Quite surprising in the heart of Paris.

The bathroom was too old. The sink was blocked and very low. So for someone tall, it is quite uncomfortable. The double bed was too small for my tall husband. The breakfast chairs were also very uncomfortable, again for someone tall.
