Nothing!
Well for one it isn't called the euro bar anymore and they put up a new sign but didn't change it on booking.com so my friend and I walked around the block and up and down the street several times in a panic thinking we'd been bamboozled. When I mentioned this to the man at the desk he snapped at me. The carpet was filthy and the place is dingy and dumpy and the shower sucked.

Nothing.
It was dirty, there was mould growing, stains on the floor and bed sheets, ripped wallpaper, dirt everywhere. We didn’t even get a room key, we got a POST IT NOTE with a code on. So unsafe and not liveable conditions. Guilty of false advertisement on the website. Very disappointed. Want a refund.

Location
No en-suite, and the bathroom down the stairs was dirty and really basic. not made clear no en-suite on booking.
Room was grubby, wallpaper missing off the wall.
walls and doors were dirty throughout the hotel.
Carpet was filthy and sticky.
Staff weren’t around at all, only on check in.
it’s more like a bed for backpackers than a hotel.
Not what we had in mind for husbands birthday weekend away.
Will make me carefully look at reviews for future stays.
shouldn’t be a 3 star should be 1.

a bit run down, not what I was expecting for the price.

close to the bus station
Old, scruffy, no shower in the room. Doesn’t really match the pictures on Booking.

My travel plans were altered and I could not make any changes. I lost money.

Nothing
Hotel was dated and extremely overpriced. Musty smell and very dusty. Rooms advertised to have private bathrooms but upon arrival we discovered this was not the case as we only had access to a shared bathroom

decent room
music from neighbouring bar was very loud and shook the room

n/a as needed urgently to stay
it’s like a hostel but no way a hotel

location for centre of city
the lighting in the bathroom was dim, with no separate light for the bathroom mirror. Window frames were rotten with gaps that let in cold air & noise.

Location
The price was the same as a hotel I stayed in the previous 2 nights, with a spa. Of course I wasn't expecting that, but the room was tired, the bathroom freezing, and the room radiator timed to turn off at night. With power not working from the socket. So when it was -5 outside, the room was very cold.
I would have pitched a room there to cost around £60 per night, not £140. A price very much should reflect quality of service and the environment, otherwise it becomes misleading and mis-selling. This was sadly the latter.

There is absolutely nothing to like about this ‘hotel’
Everything was horrible. We stayed for less than 5 minutes. The room was dirty, smelt of mould and significant amounts of air fresher (I couldn’t breathe). The bedroom lock was dodgy. The shared bathroom stank of urine and vomit. I have never been more appalled and the ‘receptionist’ was nowhere to be found.

Good location no breakfast. £90 joke far to much as the facilities. No value for money. Wall paper ripped. Television didn’t work. Furniture outdated. All in all would not recommend this venue to my colleagues

Close to the theatre and city centre
Very disappointing room for the price, with fittings hanging off the walls. Lack of in room facilities from what was advertised. Only passable cleanliness considering current cli.ayr of hygiene standards.

Nothing, it was flea pit and I would not put my dog in it.
There was a dirty shower towel on the bathroom floor showing the place had not been cleaned i checked the bedding and it looked soiled...the place had a bad smell.
I told the reception I would not be staying as it was not safe and not a good place with my 15yr old daughter..they did not care so we went elsewhere not expecting a refund and not getting one...booking .com should vet the places the advertise.

Sheets and towels were clean
Did not feel safe, water pouring out of the shower casing and could not charge my phone overnight as plug got very hot. Not safe, not comfortable, old and grotty

We liked the central location.
Absolute hell hole. Booked last minute, the photos online actually looked nice how wrong!! It was disgusting, very run down with inadequate facilities (the photos say it all!!) unhelpful staff (spoke very poor English) if we hadn’t travelled 5 miles we would have turned around and gone home. I paid through PayPal so was able to raise a dispute and thankfully got our money back!

Breakfast wasn't included. Ĺocation was very central
The entrance was dirty and shabby, outside the front door could do with a good sweep and a few buckets of water and disinfectant would be good. We were given a key to a room which was obviously already occupied with all their belongings in it. Our final room was OK but there was sweet papers on the floor and in the bedside drawer and empty coffee sachets under the table so it obviously hadn't been cleaned. On arrival we rang the bell waited and waited until another resident noticed us standing outside and let us in. I think the staff need to pay more attention to the business that they are supposed to be running, it appears that they are just disinterested if the hotel was run properly it could be an asset as it is well located. It needs a deep clean and some attention paid to the running of it.
