Our beach home has been completely remodeled, featuring fresh paint, new flooring, upgraded bathrooms, new window treatments, new furniture, and redecoration. The first level features a game room area, two bedrooms, and one full bathroom. The second floor includes a master bedroom with a private bathroom, a guest bunk room, an additional guest bathroom, kitchen, dining, and the main living area. Tastefully furnished with island decor, our house offers a spacious living area for all guests to enjoy. Go for a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool, cook up a delicious meal on the BBQ grill, or spend your day at the beach, just a 2-minute walk away! Seabatical is ideally located just a short stroll from Texas' finest beach. Enjoy wonderful shops, restaurants, entertainment, and relax on the balconies for amazing views of the sunrise and the smell of the ocean breeze. Stream your favorite apps, ZOOM, eLearn, etc., with high-speed WIFI internet. Relax and watch live sports, local, and national TV channels on our Samsung Smart TVs with smart apps and 150+ channel Spectrum App streaming service. Our beach home is a pet-friendly, family vacation rental. The traveler securing the reservation must be 25 years of age or older. For Spring Break/Semana Santa, all rental guests must comply with a families-only restriction. A small welcome package is provided, which includes 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash can liner in each trash can, liquid hand soap by each sink, liquid dish soap in the kitchen, and 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. We strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Great house- impeccably clean and comfortable.
We had a group of 8 of us, and the house was large enough for gathering and yet having your own space.
Kitchen was well equipped- and the living room area was so comfortable that all 8 of us could lounge and watch movies on a rain day.

Our family chose this property for our Christmas gathering. The property exceeded our expectations. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool. We requested the pool to be warm for them and it definitely was. The kitchen was well equipped. It was supplied with many beach towels and beach equipment. The game room was also a hit with our family.
The only negative is paper supplies could have been more adequately stocked.

We were already in love with the online info and pics the owner provided but let me tell you - they DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!! This house is amazingly decorated, completely comfortable and has everything you could need. You could not ask for a better location - beach access is literally steps away and the house is centrally located on the island so it's just minutes to any venue/restaurant/shopping. The Wanna Wanna Beach Bar is within walking distance and was a fun little outdoor restaurant/bar right on the beach. Impeccable and quick communication/service with ownership and management. The pool was PERFECT - great size and plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, plus two access points from the house. All of the BR's are very large, you aren't cramped in any room of this house. Huge living area, giant game room (billiards tourney, anyone?). I can't tell you how impressed we were with this property, and we will absolutely be back!!! YOU CAN'T LOSE HERE!!

We wanted to stay at a property that had everything for our family, and this was perfect! This house was equipped with everything needed, very clean, and big enough for multiple families. The walking distance to the beach was so close and easy. The refreshing swimming pool was amazing!
We had family that flew in from California and they loved it!

We were at South Padre Island to honor our dad's memories as this was his favorite place to take us as kids and grandkids. The ten of created new memories at this wonder beach house. It is a block away from the beach. The hosts provided wagons, a cooler and chair for the beach. There were plenty of floats for the pool! There were two big kitchen tables and plenty of space for cooking and grilling. The details on this place were so kind and thoughtful. We were able to spend time enjoying our dad's memories without having to worry about logistics.

great communication with the owners. easy check in process. great location - 4 houses down from the beach access. great size pool for our family of 16! owner was very helpful when i reached out about cloudiness of the pool. Owners immediately had the pool maint person out and even set the chiller to a lower temp to make the pool even more enjoyable! Only negative item was plates/bowls were not clean but that was a quick fix. overall great experience and awesome rental.

Fabulous location, very close to the beach. House was great and the games room was an added bonus.
Only constructive feedback is some of the pots and pans need replacing and outdoor sun beds a little tired.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Seabatical SPI. The place was spacious and located a short walk to the beach. Our kids loved hanging out in the downstairs gameroom and splashing around in the pool.

The house was beautiful and lots of space. House had everything we needed, including an ice machine wagons to take to the beach, chairs and towels. kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for the nights we cooked. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Close to everything and right next to the beach . There is a beach access that is directly next to the house that is very convenient. The pool was amazing and the house was very clean. Very kid, dog and family friendly. The first night we didn’t have enough blankets for the beds and after calling the after hours number they brought them right over !! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place. They also have ample parking at the house as well.

Owners allowed for a late checkout which was great. Everything you could possibly need is here. Need to get extra to and trash bags which we weren't prepared for but not a huge deal. Dollar general is very close. Blackbeard is within walking distance with great food but long waits at supper time. Would stay again. Weather was horrible but no one's fault there.

Our first impression upon walking into the home was that it smelled new. It’s not a new home but because of remodeling it seems newer than it is. It’s a very comfortable home in a nice, centrally located neighborhood and just a short walk to the beach. The only disappointment was the pool. The day we arrived was warm and sunny but the pool was very cold. The next few days the weather was crummy and the pool understandably couldn’t get warm so we never got to use it. After the weather improved I mentioned it to the manager and he did come right over to see what the issue was which we appreciated. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to rent this house again.

Eight of us stayed at the property, 4 adults and 4 kids, all teenagers. Property looks just like the pictures. Staying in October was perfect, the weather was in the 80's and there weren't very people at the beach or around. Definitely the end of the popular travel season but was perfect for our family/friend getaway. There was plenty of space for all of us, beds were comfortable, the heated pool was awesome once it was turned on, the icemaker in the game room was so nice to fill the coolers for the beach, the beach supplies of coolers, wagons & chairs were so nice to have, and the game room was a bit hit for our families. We rented golf carts and that was perfect for what we needed to get to stores for food. The rental was just down the street too. Renting from Joe was great! The house was supplied with all your kitchen needs. They supplied toilet paper & paper towel which was also nice. Walk to the beach was just down the street. Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again if we came back.

Overall, the experience was great. Having a home for a few days just steps away from the actual beach was great. The home was adequately supplied with cooking materials (pans, baking sheets, utensils), toiletries (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap), and beach going items (carts, chairs, towels). Having fast wi-fi and a really cool game room was also great! Our dogs really enjoyed the stay as well and we’re glad they were allowed to stay with us which is why we chose this place. Would definitely choose this place again!

The house was bigger than the pictures showed. The kitchen was a little tight around the seating areas, but we moved the tables a little and it worked just fine. The beds were so comfortable and the appliances worked and we didn't have any trouble while there. The beach was less than a five minute walk and several restaurants and shops were within walking distance. We never ran out of hot water! Love that there were plenty of pool towels!!!
We couldn't find where extra paper products or trash bags were, but it wasn't an issue to make a short store run for paper / plastic products. With two fridges and freezers we could accommodate a lot of food and ICE!
We went the second week of August and there were 4 families: 8 adults and children aged teen to toddler. We all had our own space to spread out and not feel cramped. If we get a chance to go back to S. Padre, we will definitely return to the property if it's available.

We were a family of 14, 8 adults and 6 kids. House was a perfect fit for us. The game room down stairs with the extra refrigerator was great plus for cooling extra drinks without having to use coolers to ice down drinks. Plenty of items to use for the beach as well. Pool was larger than most and clean.
Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with your every need.
Great house, we will put on our list to go back ...

Absolutely great place. Owner/property management folks very easy to communicate with and very quick to address our questions! House is Very close to the beach and the pool was perfect for the hot afternoon returns from the beach. Plenty of room for our 7 adults and 4 year old granddaughter…plus a few lovable dogs.
