Žiškov je dobrá lokalita

Get what you pay for..

Welcoming, warm and helpful staff. Great location. Only a short walk from the main train station.

My room was a bit dated. Bathroom could have been cleaner..

Pleasant

Spacious room with a balcony, kettle and refrigerator.

Not only was there no air conditioning but there was no fan either. The room was on the top floor so it was like an oven during the day. Unlivable while the temperature was in the 30s.

Highly recommended

Everything was perfect. Huge plus the 24h reception and th across-the-street tram station which takes you in 15 minutes to city centre or anywhere you want.

Breakfast could have more choices, but it was pretty decent.

I feel is super easy to go from here to anywhere in Prague because the tram is almost in front of the hotel. Even going to the train station from there is easy (if you are traveling each country by train and not by flights). Is a private room, breakfast is ok (always fruit options, coffee bread, sausages and eggs) cleaning service everyday. You can arrive early they have luggage room option. Many local shops from nails, to groceries stores, to 24 hour Kebab Place to a bar. The location is very fair.

I feel to be honest for the price is fair, would recommend to not stay longer as I did (6 days). It is cheaper and have a decent breakfast but I sadly can’t say I enjoy my stay for the following: - Many homeless people around the area. - The smell of the room, I have no idea why but it always smells bad, like old or some oxidation, even if they clean it everyday (because it is clean) I feel it has to do with old tuberies or trash cans that are not properly washed. Or a closed bathroom that is not really with any type of ventilation. So it smells always and is hard to sleep with this smell even with the windows of the room open. I would recommend to add scents to the room specially the bathrooms. - No soaps, shampoos, or anything in the bathroom as other hotels/residences so, try to bring your own or buy your own. - The look of the stairs of pure concrete was not a good one. They took away the look of the stairs going up and it was looking a bit awful. - Crossing the street for Checking, for crossing back for getting your room, and also crossing for breakfast every morning is a bit uncomfortable. - Ascensor barely working on time. - Twin beds were united and is ok but it was very uncomfortable for sleeping.

Great value hotel in great location

Great location with frequent trams outside the door. Its quite a quiet, calm residential area.Lots of shops and bars nearby. Easy to get into the old town and tourist destinations by tram or walk (25mins). Staff on reception very helpful and friendly. Reception and breakfast is across the road at Hotel Rising Sun.

A reasonable place to stay in Prague

The room was fine. There was a kebab shop infront of the hotel which remained open till late night. Further, there is Pakistani restaurant behind this hotel which is pretty good.

Tip: make sure you should have clean water to drink.

Exceptional

Location was close to everything. It was warm and bed was comfortable. Staff was very pleasant. Overall it was good value for the money I paid.

Luggage storage - you dont get a ticket with a number. Basically anyone can go in and out as they please and take whatever luggage they want. Nobody checked. Luckily this didnt happen, but the luggage storage should be more secure. Some rooms are by busy road = loud. If the window is closed, it is ok. If open, very busy. Ask for a quiet room in your booking if this would bither you.

Quiet, clean and comfortable place.

Very convenient location, accessible and near everything you do not want to miss out when visiting fantastic Prague. The comfort feeling in this residence is outstanding. Breakfast was really, really good serving tasteful and quality produce. Stay in Residence Tábor when coming to Prague!

No complains, all details of the stay were worth the value.

Good location but a bit dirty and need a renovation.

Good location, has breakfast, very good heating.

dirty small pillow that they put like a decoration was in blood. The soap dispenser was also dirty with drops of blood or something and the fan as well because was next to the sink. The was also a mold in bathroom. Cups for tea are broken.

Excellent stay if you're easy-going & traveling with only your backpacks

Residence Tabor offers an excellent stay, compared to the money you pay for. Of course, the service is not perfect, but we can't complain, and we enjoyed our stay. There's a tram station right behind the doorstep that takes you almost everywhere in Prague. The breakfast is fantastic, although it gets quite busy at the serving room if you're not an early bird, sometimes you'll have to wait for a few minutes before you can find seats. The room was heated to a decent temperature, although there were no controls to tamper with it.

1. The check-in process was a bit unanticipated. We told the hotel staff earlier before our flight that we'll be there by max 11 am, and we were there on 10 am sharp, but they told us that we can only check-in after 2 pm, which was really unexpected, and we didn't know that, especially given the weather conditions at the time (minus five degrees, snowy), also we didn't appreciate the tone and behaviour of the clerk who processed our check-in. 2. The bedsheets were not fresh, the pillow cases as well. 3. The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. 4. There were no slippers. 5. Our room was located at the fifth floor, and the lift only takes you up to the fourth floor, and in order to get to the fifth floor, you have to use an spiral starecase, which was OK for us, but if you're carrying heavy luggage with you, bear that in mind.

Good

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, possibility to reserve a parking space on site, excellent location and tram stops within walking distance, public transportation tickets available for purchase at the reception.

Little varied breakfast for those who prefer something sweet in the morning, and do not prefer the strong smells of some meat or cheese foods.

My favorite hotel in Prague

This is my favorite hotel in Prague, I have stayed there many times and I am always happy. It is situated outside Prague Centre but only 20 min walk or 5 min tram from Central Station, in a nice street with choice of restaurants, night shops, supermarket. Great friendly staff, 24h reception. Clean, everything well maintained, with elevator and reasonable priced. Good breakfast included, also hot food (and good coffee), even till 10:30 :). The room has a workdesk, fridge, microwave, tv, watercooker, cups and glasses, safe. But no fork/knive/spoon. (Fridge didn't work properly this time but after mentioning to reception the technician came to solve). Hotel is well maintained. (Some rooms I had in past had roof window without curtain, and I prefer dark room - but mentioning that at booking solves this, I always get the room I prefer). Parking is paid on streets (day and night!) but possible in hotel garage for 20 Euro, or 2 tramstops away on paid parking spot (not guarded) for 8 euro/day (to be paid cash in machine).

Great location, good breakfast, services nearby

Very pleasant stay for five nights. Luckily we got a room facing the inner court yard, so no problems with any noise. Greatly appreciated the excellent service. Breakfast was nice, tram stop right around the corner. Also shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay at Tabor again, thanks for the whole team!
