The location is excellent in relation to public transport and getting out of the city to other locations.

The house was not exactly clean. I'd be embarrassed by the mature cobwebs in the bedroom and bathroom if they were in my house! There was also rubbish left from the last person to stay in the property. If you needed to cook, there was no cooking equipment such as a baking tray or pizza tray. There were no tea towels either! Beds are ok with nice duvets. It can be noisy at night due to the on street location. Two rooms are really bright early as there were no curtains and the vents let in all the noise.

Great location with parking.

Poor beds, lack of bedding for extra beds, kitchen was not equipped very well, sofa bed was not a bed just a sofa, steep dangerous stairs, smoke alarms covered with bags? Only 1 of 3 bedrooms had curtains

I like the space on the ground floor.

Lack of kitchen stuff - e.g chopping board. No coffee and tea, short of proper plates and glasses/mugs, wear out anti stick pans and etc. House has extensive mould and water stains across living room, toilet and bedrooms House has a strong mould / paint smell Heater central control system does not work. Once we came back to the house in evening, the central heating and hot water system spoil. The host said handy man would come in 30 mins but took 2.5 hours to come. Handy man said he wasn’t inform earlier. Owner did not pick our numerous phone calls.

The location of this property was excellent for Etihad stadium.

A good few points to make here, firstly the property, although suitable for short stays, requires a bit of TLC. Damp stains on various walls/ceilings. Cracks in walls, sofa in living room torn and uncomfortable through excessive use..needs upgrading especially if larger groups are booking. Extremely strong smell of bleach which lingered for the whole two days we stayed..I am still smelling it from my clothes upon opening my suitcase! The stairs within the property were the steepest I’ve ever seen! Entirely unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues…be careful!! Was advertised as a property with a garden…I challenge that this was a garden of any kind! Rundown, unkept, weeds and litter scattered, no outdoor furniture even if you did fancy sitting outside. And finally a distinct lack of mirrors, so not ideal for any woman or man who likes to fix hair or makeup!

Good location for going to the stadium

Front bedroom needs curtains as room was so light that I was woken very early also bedrooms would benefit from mirrors.

Great size in the dining room, worked great with bed layouts. Host was always available for questions and quickly responded. Great location next to tram line to get into city centre

Afternoon, I had a booking with you for Clayton House, 18 Seymour Road South, M114PG (booking reference 2658023341) over last weekend from Friday 7th April to Monday the 10th April and was quite frankly disgusted with the accommodation provided. Upon arrival on Friday afternoon it was immediately apparent that the water and heating were not working, this was then brought to the landlord’s attention and was not rectified until half way through the following day. At this point none of us could shower and we had to use the kettle to clean our dishes. It is incomprehensible that no one noticed this prior to our arrival, especially since the cleaner’s would have required hot water to prepare for our arrival. Furthermore, the room was falsely sold to us. On booking.com the property was listed as having 1 bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with a double bed, a third bedroom with three single beds and a living room with a sofa bed. In actuality we had 1 bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with a SINGLE bed, a third bedroom with three single beds and a living room with a sofa bed. In the room with three single beds the bed nearest the door was broken and a quilt had been stuffed between the mattress and bed frame below as a botch job repair and the sofa bed downstairs was broken. Note that the sofa only sits vertical because it’s pressed against the wall, the sofa slid on the floor while we were there and the back fell down injuring my partner’s back. Furthermore, in the two bedrooms housing single beds both had poorly fitted blinds that blocked none of the sunlight so anyone staying in these rooms was awoken at dawn. Throughout the house was varying levels of damp and mould. Having asthma sufferers in our group we actually had to cut our visit short and left on Sunday because of the health problems this, among the other issues raised, had caused us. The property as a whole was not clean, the bathroom especially was disgusting.
