Imagine walking out the front door and seeing Utah's red-rock mountains staring back at you! You walk down the street and suddenly you are on a mountain trail that leads to dinosaur tracks. You return home from one of the many incredible sights around Kanab and relax in a hammock or gather around a firepit. Or maybe challenge someone to a game of foosball or cornhole or connect 4. At the end of the day, enjoy the night sky, see the stars and enjoy the quiet surroundings or maybe see a deer on the property. Welcome to the Kanab Paradise House! The Kanab Paradise house is a 2700 square foot home that can host 12 people comfortably with 4 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 3 family gathering rooms located on a large lot on the edge of Kanab. You can walk to two awesome hiking trails from the house, or drive to three national parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon) and numerous national monuments, state parks, slot canyons, The Wave, and more. THE LAYOUT -High speed free wifi internet connection throughout the house. -Three-level house can accommodate two or more separate families. UPSTAIRS -Oversized master bedroom with attached bathroom on upper level of house with a desk, king bed and great views. -Upstairs bedroom with queen bed and bunkbeds with a bathroom in the hall. MAIN FLOOR -Main level has a fully-stocked kitchen with 8-seat dining table, 3 bar stools, a family room, and a living room with a TV. -Main level also has a half bathroom. DOWNSTAIRS -Downstairs bedroom with a king bed. -Downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and bunkbeds. -Downstairs family room has a foosball table, games, TV and full bathroom. -Downstairs has a large capacity washer and dryer in the utility room. LOCATION: - On the edge of Kanab in the Kanab Ranchos area. Deer frequent through the property. Rural, yet within city limits. -20 minutes from Best Friends Animal Society, sand caves, Belly of the Dragon, Peekaboo slot canyon, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. -40 minutes from Zion National Park -60 minutes to Bryce National Park, Wire Pass/Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Toadstools hike and more. -Less than 2 hours from Grand Canyon National Park. -There are numerous other hikes, slot canyons, and national monuments a short distance away. AMENITIES: -Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.) -Towels and washcloths -Hair dryers, Keurig coffee maker, bbq grill, firepit, microwave, toaster, crockpots and other appliances -Fully-stocked kitchen and more THE RULES -No smoking or pets on property, inside or outside. No candles or fireworks of any kind on property. -Please remove outdoor shoes once inside the house, and use the sandstone drink coasters we have provided for beverages. -Please do not leave flood lights on outside of the house on late at night. This disturbs the neighbors! -We welcome guests of all ages, language, culture, heritage and lifestyle.

The property was amazing. ...c!ean and well organized. The kitchen was large and well organkzed. There were three cooks among us and they enjoed the room and the organization
It was cold and it snowed so we enjoyed just enjoyed being together..playing games and laughing a lot. Ate a lot of home cooked food. Great time and great house !!!!

This property met our needs to park 3 pick up trucks with trailers. The number of bed/baths influenced our decision to choose this property and worked out very well for our group.

The house was the perfect location for all National Parks in the area. Neighborhood was quiet and such beautiful views from the porch. We appreciated the book that provided helpful hints on attractions in the area. The kitchen area was perfect size for our group and the coffee drinkers loved the Kureg with the assortment of tasty coffees. The fruit trees in the yard attracted all manner of creatures including mule deer! The cherries were ripe and were an extra benefit. Would definely recommend the place.

What a wonderful property surrounded by the most incredible scenery. We loved everything about all of it. The hosts were wonderful as was our trip to Kanab. We would love to return to the area!!!

This was perfect for our 8 girlfriends to call home for 5 days while we hiked Zion, Bryce, & the K Trail. We shopped & ate at the Rocking V. Wonderful excursion at the Coral Sands ATV Tour including sledding down the sand hill. After every day of fun we came back to an inviting home where we shared memories & much laughter. Highly recommend this wonderful home!

Great property, perfect condition, plenty of room for our party of 8. Lots of bathrooms, couches to stretch out on , out door furniture to rest while star gazing. There were tv.’s but we didn’t get to use them.
Bunting trail is two blocks away and worth the hike. House is a short drive from grocery store, gas station, tour outfitters and close enough to visit Zion, the animal rescue, lake Powell, antelope canyon, the belly of the dragon and Bryce Canyon as day trips. It was cool and rainy in late march but we had fun. Definitely would stay here again. Mike was easy to contact, quick to reply and very accommodating..

We enjoyed our stay at the Kanab Paradise House, it had everything we needed. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Quiet neighborhood, we only saw a few people walking their dog. Good location on the east side of Zion. Lots of hiking in the area. If you have the time be sure to visit the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

We stayed here with our family of 8 and it could not have been more perfect!! Everyone had room to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is perfect to visit Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Zion. Plus Kanab is the most adorable town with every amenity you could need. We hope to come visit again someday!

If you are looking for a home base for day trips to national parks you won’t do better. House was spacious, beds comfortable, and the back deck was great for relaxing. Owner was responsive to questions.

Wow! Charming, large, well maintained home in a great location.
Our group of nine adults loved this beautiful home. I seldom rate a place excellent across the board but this place is excellent. Very clean, well maintained, all the items you need for a very comfortable stay. The location is perfect. A hiking trail minutes from your door step. A peaceful neighborhood and excellent host. Real bang for your buck!

Everything about the experience was perfect. The owners of the property were very attentive and helpful. The house was beautiful and very clean and had all of the necessities so we didn't have to go out and buy anything. The location was great as it is in a nice, quite neighborhood on the outskirts of town with a beautiful view. The town is so small that even with it being on the edge of town, you are still so close to everything. You are also only a stone's throw from the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park...two great day trips. If we do end up going next year, we would definitely want to stay here again.

Perfection
Everything about the experience was perfect. The owners of the property were very attentive and helpful. The house was beautiful and very clean and had all of the necessities so we didn't have to go out and buy anything. The location was great as it is in a nice, quite neighborhood on the outskirts of town with a beautiful view. The town is so small that even with it being on the edge of town, you are still so close to everything. You are also only a stone's throw from the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park...two great day trips. If we do end up going next year, we would definitely want to stay here again.

Everything was great house was spacious good for big groups, clean and property owner Mike was helpful only thing that was a little disappointing was that the upstairs master bathroom plumbing was not good toilet wouldn't flush and shower was clogged as well but owner did come to fix it the following day other than that it was great.

This house is the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. Extra blankets, plenty of pots and kitchen supplies, spices, garbage bags, dishwashing soap, ice chests, and so much more. Kim was so easy to deal with and answered all my questions promptly. The house was perfect for us. We were 9 adults total. Would stay here again in a second. The area is beautiful and this house is centrally located fo so many points of interest. I highly recommend this house for any family looking to visit the area.

This house is the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. Extra blankets, plenty of pots and kitchen supplies, spices, garbage bags, dishwashing soap, ice chests, and so much more. Kim was so easy to deal with and answered all my questions promptly. The house was perfect for us. We were 9 adults total. Would stay here again in a second. This property is perfectly named. 5 minutes from town and 100 steps away from pure nature. HUGE home, we had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 tweens and there was more than enough space. Awesome kitchen with everything you could possibly need and more. Everything was in perfect working order and super clean. The morning view of the sunrise over the valley is amazing and in the evening we would lay in the yard and could thousands of stars and the Milky Way with just our eyes. Centrally located it was perfect for hitting the North Rim, Zion and Bryce. There is also a guide book on the counter with at least 50 less known local hikes that looked amazing. Family games in the basement that we played, hiking staffs, yard games, lots of extra coolers in the basement. Thank you for lending us your home for a week!

Best week ever
our family from all over the country stayed here and found the property better than advertised. Clean and neat as well as obviously well maintained. Right mix of out of the way and close to town. Loved the hiking trails right down the block. We also greatly appreciated the book the owners left, with clear instructions and a great list of places to visit that we might not find on our own.

This really is a Paradise in Kanab.
This property is perfectly named. 5 minutes from town and 100 steps away from pure nature. HUGE home, we had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 tweens and there was more than enough space. Awesome kitchen with everything you could possibly need and more. Everything was in perfect working order and super clean.
