Happy House is a spectacular three-story cottage that boasts 8 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, making it the perfect vacation home for families or large groups. With over 4,500 square feet this home offers sunny, spacious rooms, porch accessible bedrooms, a sundeck, and the beach is just a short walk away! The first floor features a living room with an electric fireplace and a spacious great room with cathedral wood ceilings—replete with plenty of windows that allow for natural light to flow into the space. With a sofa and chairs, guests will find plenty of comfortable seating. There is a dining table in this room with four chairs. This room flows into the Family room that has more sofas and a Flat-Screen TV. The kitchen and dining area are located just off the living room. The kitchen comes replete with stainless-steel appliances, a walk-in pantry and breakfast bar. The spacious dining room features a table that can seat 22 guests. For your convenience, there is a laundry room on this level. The second floor boasts a den with a TV, sofa, as well as a sleeper sofa. There is a second laundry room with sink on this level. At the end of a day exploring Tybee Island, guests can get some rest in one of eight comfortable bedrooms: The first-floor features two king bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath and access to a porch. The second floor has two queen-bedrooms, a bunk room with two beds, and another children’s bunk room with a bunk bed and two twin beds. There is a spacious screened-in porch on this level. The third-floor private king bedroom features an adjacent sitting area with a flatscreen TV, sleeper sofa, dining area and wet bar, as well as access to a "treetop" private sundeck. The bedroom comes replete with a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with garden tub and separate marble shower with vertical spa and hand-held shower. For your convenience, the cottage has off-street parking for 4-5 cars, and an 8' privacy fence in the backyard. Happy House is in a perfect location; just a 4-minute walk to the beach, and a 2-minute walk to shops and restaurants. We apologize, but pets are not allowed at this property. There was plenty of room for 18 of us to sleep comfortably. Very cute home that provided almost everything we needed, including 2 refrigerators. It would have been nice to know that we were not allowed to use the fireplaces prior to booking, but that was a minor issue. My only suggestion is that there be some kind of shower caddy/corner shelf in the 2nd downstairs shower. It is a very small shower and no where to place items like shampoo other than the floor, then very little room to bend down to get them or if you drop your soap. Other than that, it is a great location for a large family gathering.

We all enjoyed our stay at Happy House over Thanksgiving. It’s an easy walk to the beach and some great little restaurants. Plenty of bedrooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. Loads of room for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal together. Would stay here again!

Clean spot with plenty of cozy rooms

We arrived (14) of us, and had to call because the key code did not work. After getting in we all went to our rooms to unpack. One room was not good, floor dirty, sheets and pillow cases obviously not changed and the mattress heavily stained. A few of the other rooms had the same problem with mattress pada and sheets. After calling to complain, Natural Retreats sent a lady over to look at the problems. She immediately agreed and arranged for a new mattress, as well as sheets and pillow cases as needed. The linens were changed, floors cleaned, surfaces wiped and the house made right. I received a text from Natural Retreats that I would be compensated (a fair amount). The remaining days of our stay were very enjoyable.

The property is fabulous for large families, very spacious with lots of sitting and table spaces for everyone to eat together. Close to the beach! One minute walk to the souvenir shops and a cute ice cream shop! This was a “Happy House”!
When we arrived the HAVC unit to the first floor was not working properly, I called the management company and they got the technician straight out, he had it fixed in a short while!

House was a great size and layout for our big group. Kitchen was very well stocked-- best I've ever seen in a vacation rental home... loved the 2 fridges! We loved the big dining tables and living room. Location was great, with an easy 4 min walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this home. Only problem was 1 shower faucet was broken when we arrived (making the whole shower unusable)... I notified the host asking for it to be fixed and was told they would be in touch soon, but i never heard from them again the whole trip. I expected at least a real response to my message, and an attempt to resolve the issue, but got neither.

Incredible home and location on Tybee. Pictures don’t do justice to the size of the home. Kids loved all the sleeping options. Upper floor was always very warm during the day, A/C couldn’t keep up. Grill in the backyard was a bonus we didn’t know about until arrival.

We had a group of 14 family members staying together and this house was perfect! Eclectic and southern decor which all worked so well together, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, close to the beach and stores, and a well stocked kitchen. The only feedback I would give is that it would have been nice to have some beach towels, beach chairs and extra pillows. But that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful visit and we are grateful to have found some a great house to call home for the weekend!

We had a wonderful time here celebrating my sister for both her birthday and bachelorette with 13 total guests. The hosts, Kelly and Joy, were incredibly communicative and helped us coordinate sending packages ahead of time. The appliances were perfect for many group meals and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Overall we had a wonderful time. Plenty of beds/space (lots of bunkbeds which is perfect for alot of kids, not quite as perfect if more adults), great location. Living areas on each floor so everyone can do there own thing or be together in the lower level. Lot of porches, easy walking distance to beaches/bars/restaurants/shops. Only negatives were lack of parking (only fits 4-5 cars and several of those spots leave you with gifts of pine sap all over your vehicle), could have been cleaned better (several little things but most notable is the rack over the island and the underside of hood... both caked with dust/grime), home is low on linens so bring extra (no extra blankets, limited towels for the amount of people), I would suggest someone go through the kitchen and update the cookware etc... there was a broken glass on the shelf and alot of the cookie sheets/pans were in bad shape (rust, peeling). We were told there was an elevator but when we got there it was locked. The bones of the home are amazing, just needs a little love and attention.

The weather was frightful but the accommodations were delightful! Well-appointed and well-stocked. Since we were stuck inside we really appreciated the various gathering areas.

The house was beautiful and huge! Plenty of space for our group to gather. The only complaints were no soap in the bathrooms and no outside spigot to wash off feet/beach chairs. Would definitely stay again!

My family stayed at the home as the first vacation with my parents, siblings, and our families. It was everything we could have asked for in furnishings and space. Truly an amazing home and the great communication from the owners.

We had an amazing time. The size of the house was perfect for our family. Lots of space, plenty of rooms, the kitchen was great. The only small feedback is there was some cleanliness items that could have been addressed, couch still had mud on it from the last guest, and the bathroom in the 3rd floor master need a good scrubbing for mold. But otherwise the house was great.

My family stayed at the home as the first vacation with my parents, siblings, and our families. It was everything we could have asked for in furnishings and space. Truly an amazing home and the great communication from the owners.

The kitchen had everything you could want to cook a meal. We loved the large ice maker which provided enough ice for all of us to fill our coolers with drinks for the beach. We all enjoyed the beach and surprisingly it was not terribly crowded. All in all we loved this vacation and would highly recommend this house.

We rent a house every summer for our large family. This was one of the best we have ever stayed at. There was more than enough room for all. The sitting areas on every floor made it possible for the kids to find a place to play games or watch TV while the adults could relax and chat. The kitchen had everything you could want to cook a meal. We loved the large ice maker which provided enough ice for all of us to fill our coolers with drinks for the beach. We all enjoyed the beach and surprisingly it was not terribly crowded. All in all we loved this vacation and would highly recommend this house.

We had so much fun in this house, on Tybee Island, and in Savannah. We enjoyed the beach, going through the shops, eating out, ghost tour, riverboat tour, trolley tour, playing games with the family, etc. Because we were so close to Savannah, the kids were glad the house was spook-free! Our favorite place to eat was Huc-A-Poos! We're didn't get to do everything we planned, so we are definitely going to have to go back.

We enjoyed the beach, going through the shops, eating out, ghost tour, riverboat tour, trolley tour, playing games with the family, etc. Because we were so close to Savannah, the kids were glad the house was spook-free!
