This first home is completely updated, offering a welcoming interior with an open floor plan, wood floors, and contemporary furnishings. The immaculate kitchen has all you need to create your favorite meals, including a full suite of stainless steel appliances and ample cookware. The sunny and comfortable guest suite is small but mighty - complete with a full bathroom, TV in the bedroom, and the suite even has a kitchenette for storing and reheating leftovers, making coffee, or a simple breakfast. Finally, the bright and airy studio loft offers beautiful hardwood floors, tons of natural light, a full kitchen, seating area, and a queen bed. Best of all is your proximity to downtown Hood River and the Hood River Event Site, both less than one mile away, and local mountain biking/hiking trails. Wineries, kite and wind-surfing spots, and scenic golf courses are also close by. You’re truly in the heart of everything Hood River has to offer! THINGS TO KNOW Streaming services are available with guest accounts. A 4WD vehicle is required in the winter. This home features two full kitchens and a kitchenette. Guests must use a small set of stairs to enter the home. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This house was awesome for our bridal party because there were 3 separate areas to stay, so if one couple wanted more privacy we gave them one of those rooms! Vrbo was clean and location was incredibly ideal right next to downtown. Would definitely stay again!

A few quirks with this place but the location and hot tub make up for it. The layout consists of a main unit and two smaller units. The main unit is nicer and the back unit by the hot tub was older and less updated, not sure how the upstairs unit was. Overall a great stay as we mostly congregated in the main unit. The hot tub was very enjoyable after a lot day of skiing, and it was an easy walk to one of Hood River’s many breweries and shops. I would recommend a bath mat in the main unit to avoid a bad fall in the shower as it was super slippery. Also, when we checked in, some of the towels had dirt on them.

The perfect location to be in the middle of it all! Great house and yard. We had a group of 8 who used the entire house, two of the bedrooms were outside entrances at the back of the house. All in all pretty good set up. We would stay here again. If you’re coming locally and have a bigger group it would be good to bring a few camping chairs, toilet paper, and paper towels.

The property was clean and nice. A bit chopped up if you rent the whole place. Only two rooms with the front door and then one room has to be entered on the back outside and then upstairs outside. Makes it hard with little kids. Maybe I did not read the description well when I booked. Also AC is a bit inadequate for the area in summer.

We all raved about this sweet stay. Each piece of the property was lovely and provided everything we needed. The location was so close to everything in town and was quiet, just off the Main Street. Our only issue was the fact that the AC in the main house was out and we weren’t notified about it not working before our stay. We got lucky with some cool nights, but overall, the house remained pretty hot during the day, even with all the windows and doors open. The host was kind enough to bring by some fans, which helped, but not enough for me to have to sleep without any kind of comforter or blanket on top of me. A head’s up would have been nice so that we could have chosen rooms appropriately (I’m 8 months pregnant and running hot), but even so, some guests would have been more uncomfortable than the others. Despite that, we absolutely loved it. Would come back again and again!
