There is no noise insulation between rooms. If someone sneezes next door, it sounds like they’re right next to you

Iron was full of rusty water that stained a blue shirt

I had a nice welcome when I arrived in the lobby. My room was very comfortable. In my check-in review, I stated that the bathtub drained slowly. It turned out that the drain was partially closed. When I opened it, the water drained well.
Bruce at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
I enjoyed walking in the area.
If I need to stay at a hotel in Baltimore again, I would like to stay at the Inn at the Colonnade. I had a great experience. No complaints.

The hotel was very dated. The staff were very friendly but this place really needs an upgrade. Restaurant was open late with amazing food!

I am so impressed with Frei (who was at the front desk when I checked in). I accidentally booked the wrong type of room (I am traveling with my teenage son and got a room with only one bed). Frei worked some magic and was able to upgrade us to a king bed with a pull out couch despite being in a tricky sold out situation. I am very very grateful and would say that she demonstrated a level of customer service that was extraordinary! Thank you - I would stay here again and again.

Super convenient to Johns Hopkins University. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had an issue with the lock on our room which would not respond to our key; so every time we entered we required assistance, which added some time (and repeated trips to the lobby) to our coming and going. Breakfast was quite good and service was very prompt. Beds were comfortable and our floor was quiet.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and I wish my review from the first time was available because these are two extremely different encounters. This particular visit we were greeted by two African American women who were very professional. Upon entering our king room it was noticeable tidy but not necessarily clean. After some minor wipe downs and organizing I went to take a shower and noticed there was one set of towels 😂😂😂 we called the front desk and n older gentleman came to our room and he was clearly interrupted from watching Sanford and Son but that neither here or there he was utterly annoyed that he had to bring us some towels. Finally we lay down for bed and we pulled the covers and sheet back to find a rusty colored stain on the sheets. Out of tiredness we slept on top of the covers….. I think we just got a bad room but our first visit was top notch

Friendly lady at the desk. Two problems. 1. parking oddly difficult.
a minor note
2. Noise at night. A major problem. There was a noisy party, I mean SHAKING THE WALLS on the 2nd floor. I complained, the friendly desk lady agreed, and apparently eventually it stopped. Parties are great, I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but a hotel needs to control last night, I mean 10- 11 pm parties. Thank you.

They charge $30/day for parking, which is steep. The breakfast is okay, not fabulous. But the service was excellent.

The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. We were in room 269. It needed maintenance. There is gap between the carpet and tile. The wallpaper is coming off the wall. The tub faucet was not working properly.

Really liked the property. Staff throughout was superior. Had a nice bar. More food options would be helpful. Would surely recommend.

My room was really clean and I liked the hotel overall.

To put it bluntly we had a much better stay the night before at a Fairfield Inn. This property is a bit tired. The room wasn't stocked with towels and the vending machines were not even fully stocked.
The biggest positive is the super friendly front desk staff.

The front desk was so nice and helpful. We were greeted with warm cookies and water. Very clear instructions were given for garage. Excellent food recommendations. It was nice to be greeted so nicely after an 8 hr drive. She even offered to reach out to Loyola U to get us campus maps prior to our tour the next day.

The hotel seems to be in transition. The lobby has been torn apart. It looks like a makeshift restaurant for breakfast and dinner. They were short on towels and soap. It was adequate for my purposes, but I would be hard pressed to recommend it.

Convenient to JHU. Decent room, breakfast.
Blocked off (with bench?) the most convenient door to front desk (fire hazard??), no snack shop, and “late” checkout is only 30 min after standard 12pm.

The hotel was clean but felt dingy and in need of a remodel. The lobby was not great, and in that neighborhood it would have been nice to have a better restaurant and lobby to relax in.

We chose this hotel because of it's location near the wedding we were to attend. A few nice restaurants were within walking distance. Food service at the hotel was limited. Our vending machine was out of order. The beds and bedding were great and the bathroom was clean. However, there was no pool or gym. Service from the desk was mixed, with one desk agent being very obliging and others being overworked and dismissive.

While this hotel is extremely convenient to the Johns Hopkins campus, the value just isn’t there. $500/night for just an average room. No coffee bar or extra amenities in the lobby.

We had a wonderful checkin - the upgraded suite worked terrific for our family of four. After touring and walking around the John’s Hopkins campus for our daughter’s admit day - we would relax in the night at the lounge downstairs with tea and conversations with the friendly staff at the front desk. Special mention Frei, so interesting to have a genuinely delightful conversation with her.

The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. Everyone at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The hotel itself could use some upgrading but overall, it was clean and quiet. The staff being so kind made our stay so much better. My daughter and I were in Baltimore visiting my niece who attends Johns Hopkins. The location couldn’t have been more convenient, It’s literally across from campus.

This is a special property, on the campus of John Hopkins University. Staff was great.

The location of the hotel is great to visit Hopkins. However, out room had some problems with the draining system in the shower. In addition, the same problem seemed to happened in the next room as some water was leaking through the wall. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was good, although the service was a little slow.

It was fine: a little bland. Expensive. Some grab and go options for breakfast and snacks would have improved our stay. People very nice though.
