The lady at the front desk is rude! I kept telling her my room key wasn’t working but she wouldn’t believe me until she tried it for herself. Parking sucked! The room was nice and clean though. I don’t know if I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a good location but it’s a horrible spot to stay. We are a family of 4 and booked 2 rooms. The hotel is old, dirty, run down and I would not recommend anyone stay here. The air conditioners are EXTREMELY loud, the pools are small and very dirty, one of our bathrooms had a dirty face cloth left in the shower and hair all over the floor. There were tiles missing in the bathroom and stains on the bedroom walls. The shower and bathroom was so dirty I didn’t want to use it. I showered wearing my flip flops and made my children do the same. We couldn’t wait to leave this place.

Parking is horrendous. Only two off street places to park off a very busy street slightly dangerous for you and your vehicle. Many stairs. WiFi is iffy and not great. This property on par maybe with a motel 6. Now all that being said I did like my stay at this slightly quirky hotel. The woman at the front Joycelyn? was ready to help any and everyone with whatever be it helping to fit into a parking space or answer questions or anything else. She was awesome. This place gives you an authentic st Thomas stay and feel. Walking distance to the shops and such. Not close to any beaches. Grocery store is about a 15 min walk and keep in mind almost everything closes early in this area. It is based primarily on the cruise boat tourists when they leave shops close. But anyway yes the hotel has many stairs and no bellman. Small maybe 6x12 pool but it was refreshing! Room is ok no drain plug in sink, shower weirdly set up so you at literally on the wall and grout is bad. Coffee pot but no coffee but a mini fridge. Wall Air conditioner loud but glad to have it since it was hot. Bed pretty comfy. Never got tv to work for local channels but we did have a fire stick but that was a pain because as previously stated the WiFi is iffy. Included bfast is limited but a good start to your day. All in all I have to say I’d stay here again. The hard part is the car situation. My car was hit and run- insurance nightmare and another persons scooter stolen same day.

Clean comfortable beds w air conditioning. Balcony. Insects in bathroom at night. No fruit at breakfast. Good coffee . Service inconsistent. All of St Thomas is overpriced . This room was $150 a night

Bunker Hill Hotel was amazing! Spacious room. Staff was wonderful! Made to order breakfast choices. Definitely recommend! 10-15 mins to airport.

Absolutely discusting! There was water damage on the ceiling that was not ever taken care of. The floor was filthy. The shower was very moldy and the shower head was discustingly black with mold. The bed frame was like 4 pieces of 4x2's hammered together to make a frame that definitely tilted downward at the head. Overall I wouldnt ever recomend this place to anyone.

The hotel was ok. However, the incident taht occurred made my stay real.nightmare. on feb 18, 2024 i returned to my room to find out all my clothes, shoes, toiletries and other personal items were removed. It turned out cleaning service was convinced the room was checked out which was incorrect. They placed all my items into trash bag and placed the bag in the laundry room. The items were returned. The hotel replaced missing toothpaste and ziplock bag. This is unacceptable practice. I will certainly avoid this place.

Hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel has a nice view and is centrally located. Parking is a pain. The facility itself is so old and in such a poor condition that we experienced issues with A/C, TV, hair dryer, shower. Low quality mattress is used in the last room we stayed. 3 star is definitely an overrating. At most, it is a 2 star…

Our air conditioning did not work well. It didn’t get below 79 degrees in our room. Also, the bathroom window was broke and left open so it was so hot in the bath… we just closed the door

Plus is it is close to the airport and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly but restaurant is understaffed. The downside is that there were cockroaches. WiFi does not connect to the internet.

There were several negatives including wet floors (in my room) especially after a storm. There are many stairs to get to most rooms, The bed must be changed, The TV is mostly subscription stations. Free parking is very limited. On the plus side, a good breakfast was provided and the room was cleaned daily.

This is within walking distance to downtown, and we knew it wasn’t top notch, but expected it to be a bit better. Faucets leak, towels are very thin, doorknobs are broken, one hanger. No cable tv. Downtown Charlotte Amalie is a disappointment-so many jewelry stores, few local art/craft stores, and it all goes by the cruise ship schedule. Next time I would stay in Red Hook.

Easy check in. Loved my room with huge balcony with view of the city and the bay. Resterant was delicious. Parking is the only issue if you have a car.

Lovely views from the balcony rooms. Outdoor area surrounding the pool are quiet with a relaxed vibe. Taxis abound but are overpriced and do not provide assistance with luggage even though there is an extra charge applied to fare. Restaurants in the area close early.

Bunker Hill Inn is a hidden gem in the city. Easy walking distance to everything. A wonderful breakfast, small pool and a great happy happy bar with views. If you are planning a dive trip here this hotel is perfect if you need a place to crash at night.

Bunker hill is a great little hidden gem! It definitely fits into the IYKYK category. The property is a family owned and run resort and they take great pride in what they do. The rooms are HUGE, clean and comfortable. The pool deck is a great place to hang out as we did each night during our week stay. The breakfast is great, and the restaurant has some EXCELLENT food. It is a bit tough to find as it does not look like a hotel from the street but once you find it and head up the stairs, you will be pleasantly surprised! We had a great time at Bunker Hill and will definitely be returning.

This was a nice place to stay!! Most of the staff were very nice and the view was stunning. Complimentary breakfast was a nice treat and their on site grill was super convenient. Everything was “quaint” - easy to walk around and shop but there really weren’t many options for things to do in the evening/night. (I’m thinking that was most the island though) - Thanks for having us Bunker Hill!!!

Used bar of soap only thing we had for a shower. Smelled musty, phone on floor. Bedding was itchy. Staff was friendly. Try to cancel after seeing and they refused to refund anything.

This is our 4th stay at Bunker Hill Hotel. We really like it. The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is also very good. And, of course, the views gorgeous!

The Breakfast was always hot and delicious, especially the Coffee. The showers only had warm water and there was only 1 microwave out in the pool area. All of the staff was wonderful except for one person who served us breakfast each morning. The Owner/Management made sure we were comfortable the whole stay.

Everything was OK. Staff with an excellent service. The place is walkable to many places around. Breakfast included was good and three complete multiple choices. Only problems: cleanliness was not good. Bathroom on the room had some hairs on the floor, and the air conditioning system was so so so dirty, I have cleaned it during my short stay. In overall, 3 stars.

Hotel is so-so. But staff is excellent and helpful and location is perfect for a “downtown” stay. An upgrade to a room with a balcony/view was well worth it.
