We stayed two nights at this hotel on non-consecutive days. The first night was fabulous - everything was wonderful. The second night we were in a different room on a floor below at a level less than what I had paid for as the only room available on the fourth floor was next to an elevator. All of this was fine except that we could not get the room temperature down to a comfortable level. They offered us a fan which helped somewhat, but we could not get the room down to a level that we needed for a comfortable sleep. Otherwise, we loved the hotel, and especially the fabulous bathtubs.

Great location near bars and restaurants, however, area is extremely filthy and smells like urine due to the proximity of the hotel to Temple Bar area. Additionally, there is no close self parking and if you use google maps for driving, it takes you to the Hard Rock hotel not the Westin and there is no direct or easy way to reroute. The front staff of the Westin is well aware of the google map GPS error but no urgent action has been taken to correct. You must use the valet option to park car at 30 pounds. Inside the room, the main bathroom sink was clogged and very limited late night dining options after 11 pm inside the hotel and around the area as the area turns into a homogeneous open bar. Would not recommend.

Close to great places to hang out, drink & eat. Also close to the busses we needed to get to for our excursions. Staff was very nice & accommodating

Very courteous people. Clean room. Very central to all of the action of the city!

The hotel is lovely and most of the employees were extremely helpful and kind. We did find the restaurant and bar employees were less helpful, and less attentive. My biggest issue with the hotel, was the "cleaning" of our rooms each day. It appeared the bare minimum was done, which was to make the beds and bring fresh towels...bathrooms were not cleaned.

We came to celebrate our 10th Saint Patrick’s Day wedding Anniversary. The Westin Dublin made it an EXPERIENCE! Every single member of the staff was beyond accommodating and kind. We felt like royalty. We had a beautiful view of the Saint Patrick’s Day parade from our suite that overlooked Westmoreland and didnt miss a thing! We were surprised with anniversary desserts brought to our room and everyone from the front desk staff that checked us in and out to the concierge staff to room service to housekeeping to the restaurants and bar were above measure!! They all remember your name and go out of their way to personalize your stay. Absolutely 5 stars all across the board! We met so many wonderful people and cant wait to come back for our 15th Anniversary. We cant thank each and every one there for an incredible stay. Dont change a thing! And a special thanks to Chloe, who manages The Mint (bar on the premises); you truly made our stay a joy!

Fantastic location central in the city and near main highlights. Staff was slow and inattentive. Also tried to charge me for the room when I prepaid with Expedia and now have two charges on my credit card. Room was not as promised.

Westin is centrally located, very convenient base when exploring Dublin via walking. It is our go to hotel…great value for the money and luxurious, comfy beds with great darkening drapes to crush the jet lag or recover from a night of bar hopping or indulging at one of the many fabulous cocktail bars. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

We were given a VERY dark and outdated room with subpar bedding and towels. Then, the air conditioning would not work. They moved us to a more updated room; however, NO air conditioning. It was two night’s of miserable sleep. When I asked multiple members of the staff….I was told…we can get you a fan????? Not why I paid this price. I will NEVER come back to this hotel nor will I EVeR recommend it. They could have cared less about us.

Check in was a breeze until we get to the room and wait and wait and wait for the bags. After several calls, we had to come downstairs to get them to bring up the bags. Then the sink in one of the rooms was clogged and not draining and the shower in the same room was not draining. They sent someon after severl calls that pulled had to get a tool to pull the draining mechanisim out of the sink but they said the shower was fine. When we would shower, it would not drain and fill up the shower and pour over into the bathroom. After several calls they said that engineering wasnt there and it would have to be fixed tomorrow so they brought up a bunch of towels to make a dam in the bathroom to hold in the water which was leaking into the bedroom. Next day after returning to the room from a siteseeing the drain had not been fixed in the shower and they said engineering had been notified but nothing had happened. So they sent more towels for the night and said it would be fixed the next day. We turned our laundry in that day to have it delivered to us by 6pm as promised. Laundry at 6:30pm had not showed up and after many calls they finally found it and delivered it at 7pm which made us miss our dinner reservations. Shower still flooding. Next day, same thing, went out, got back to hotel room, shower still flooding. I demanded manager. They said engineering was gone for the day they suggested more towels. I demanded a plunger... This store has 2 more days or nightmare...

Superb location. Price was ok value. Lobby area was beautiful. Hotel room was relatively small. The Bathroom was very nice. Only stayed one night so it was perfect. If staying for a longer period I’d have wanted a larger
room. I’d stay here again for sure.

Lovely hotel. Good location but room was small dark and stuffy.
No natural light or fresh air made it generally unpleasant for a 5 star hotel.

Be careful, there's mold. I realize there is mold in Ireland but we didn't expect it here at the Westin. Did you see the process we paid. Much better options for the money. Location is great though.

We love returning to Dublin and, staying at The Westin, our favourite hotel, makes the experience one to remember. The staff are all so warm and friendly and the service is excellent, we appreciate the little touches. We enjoyed a three day break on half board and everything was perfect. In advance of check in, I rang the hotel to say I had recently cricked my neck and wondered whether they had a hot water bottle and flatter pillows I could use whilst there. When I got to the room, which had been upgraded, there waiting on the bed was a new water bottle and just the right pillows. The Mint Bar re-opened on the first night of our stay and we ventured in on our second night. It was so nice to be back there and hopefully in not too many months, it will be buzzing with live music events. Breakfast and dinner in the Morelands Grill was excellent and the waiting staff were so attentive.
I knew when I booked the 3 nights half board deal with Expedia at the end of July 2021, I had got it for an exceptional price. I did wonder before checking out whether my final bill would be correct and unfortunately it wasn't. Reservations at the hotel had it down as us having dinner on only the first of the three night stay. However, once I provided a copy of my reservation confirming half board for the duration of the stay, everything was sorted within a matter of minutes with a very helpful member of The Westin's reception team. We look forward to returning to The Westin in the near future.

An upscale hotel. We had a lovely large room with views over Trinity College. However, the air conditioning was not working properly for the whole of our stay. Also the room was not serviced due to the hotel's Covid operating policy. We were not offered a discount as a result of these two issues
