Hot water took a long time to come on, otherwise it was fine. The hotel staff is always friendly and the room and hotel are very clean. Breakfast was great. The frustrating thing about this hotel is that it is across from three medical facilities (VA, University Hospital and Children’s Hospital) and needs to be majorly improved for better accessibility for folks coming in for and recovery from surgeries. It should at least have the entire bottom floor dedicated to having wheelchair accessibility with roll in showers and definitely more accessible parking specifically for wheelchair vans with ramp spaces. The three rooms with roll-in showers are never available when we come with our disabled family member. And none of them are on the first floor. What would someone do in case of a fire? Things to think about and evaluate. When you remodel this hotel in the future, do better. Talk to occupational therapists and specialists and families that stay there and need this valued hotel. Thanks

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel due to having a family member in Denver Children’s Hospital. It is a convenient and comforting place to be near lived ones during difficult circumstances. The staff are friendly and warm, the rooms are soacious and clean, and the free breakfast i great.

The check in staff was very nice and friendly but the hotel room was not properly cleaned. We found almonds on the carpet next to the bed. The curtain and sofa had stains. There was even a stain in the bathroom floor. If you are traveling with children the bathroom doors don’t lock so that might be an issue. The hotel has easy access to the children’s hospital which is why we booked it but other than that I was not impressed.

I wish I remembered the girls name that checked us in. She was awesome and the only thing that made the hotel enjoyable. I asked for a local pizza and she recommended an amazing restaurant. My daughter and I checked in, went to dinner, played in the pool and showered. We got ready to put on a movie on the internet TV. Pulled back the comforter and the sheets were filthy!! So gross. I called down and the same girl that checked us in brought us new keys to the room across the hall. The pool was miserable cold. It is very small…they used creative photoshop in the add. The shower is weird. You almost need instruction to operate it. These odd handle things shot out freezing water. It was just odd. The room had lack of outlets..I didn’t get it. Bring an extension cord. The location is awesome to the hospital and HWY.

The website stated they had an in-house restaurant, they did not. The pillows were so soft they flattened out 2 minutes after your head laid on them, not a good thing. The bed was firm, so it was ok, it was difficult to figure out the shower, I had to be shown by staff, I have never seen a shower like this before, there was something that you had to pull down on, on the underside of the tub faucet. I lifted the phone beside the bed and discovered chocolate melted to the underside of the telephone. Other than that, the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. You have to enter the hotel from the back side which is not marked with the name of the hotel only the number 13400, so that was interesting. It was, however, close to the Anschutz Medical Campus.

I needed a blow dryer and there was not one in our room. I was told aince they were sold out of rooms, they didnt have one they could get for me. I expect more from Marriott.

The hotel is very clean, new and nice for my family of 4. Sometimes there was no hot water for the shower though. The shower had a lever to turn on the water, a knob to turn the temperature and a pull down on the tub spout to change from tub to shower. Many adjustments to the temperature wouldn't give us hot water. What did work was to completely turn off the water, wait a few seconds and try again.

Springhill Suites was easy to find, with free on site parking. Desk staff were friendly & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. Shuttle service to Anschutz Medical Center available.

I was surprised at the condition of the hotel. I halfway expected it to be awful. It was the opposite. The rooms were cozy. The lobby was beautiful. The only thing about this hotel I didn't fully enjoy was the bed. But everyone has different bed preferences. It was in great shape just not my sleeping preference.

Arrived at hotel and they didn’t have a double queen room as I had booked. Tried to tell me to call Expedia to get my money back and were going to charge me for a room. Finally got an upgrade at no cost.

Liked the unique room layout and easy access to UC campus. Room was little dirty though as I noticed scuff marks on the floor and some grime on the sink. The staff was fantastic.

People stay in this location because they are receiving evaluation/care in one of the University Hospitals that are located across the street, or they have meetings at the hospitals/medical school. For these purposes the hotel provides what one needs: convenience, space, desk space, and easy transportation from and to the airport. And all these in a very affordable price

We made multiple requests to have our room serviced on a regular basis (trash was piling up becuase we were stuck inside due to the snow storm and our towels weren't refreshed). Also our refridgerator didn't work, but requests to have this looked at (2 requests) were seemingly ignored.

Horrible experience No housekeeping services. We stayed 5 nights, but unable to receive any housekeeping services... I would go to the front desk daily to request service and get fresh towels, but no service provided.

Poor experience due to elevators not working. My 82 mother can’t use the stairs. We had to get help from other guests. Thankfully they were there to help us guide her down the stairs. Lastly, I connected my laptop for a few emails and I was charged a connectivity fee. All in all, it seems that paying over $200 for the stay would result in a better experience.
