I stayed for two weeks and loved it. Thierry is an attentive host who gives clear instructions for the property. The decoration is stylish and homey. It would have been nice to have a sharp knife and cutting board in the kitchen, but if you mostly plan to eat out, this is not a big deal.

We stayed at this studio apartment for 6 days. It is easy to explore Paris using the metro from this location. There is a grocery store across the street and another about 2 blocks away. There’s a gluten bakery with fresh daily bread at the end of the block; there’s a gluten-free/vegan/lactose-free bakery about 2.5 blocks away and a Mexican restaurant offering a gluten-free menu across the street. The bathroom facilities are superior; the kitchen is adequate for cooking purposes. As the apartment is tucked inside a courtyard, it is a quiet location. Thank you for the hospitality!

I could not have asked for a more perfect stay in this beautiful city. Very Comfortable and perfectly located. Thierry, the host, was so easy to communicate with and very helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay went exceptional. I will return.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Thierry’s apartment in the heart of the Marais. Perfect location and it has all the conveniences like a washing machine, Nespresso machine, kettle, etc.

The apartment is ideally located in the center of the city. Minutes by foot to the Metro and all center city venues. Many restaurants within one minute walk of the apt. Host is a great guy, responsive and helpful.

We just returned from 8 days in Thierry's wonderful apartment. The location can't be beat. A few steps away is a small grocery, tons of restaurants, and the Metro. It was always lively when we returned in the evenings we were amazed at how quiet it was back upstairs. Yes there were 2 flights up but we had no issues with that at all. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure and nice heat. 2 things we always appreciate when staying away from home.
Thierry's communication was excellent. We happened to arrive early and he was gracias enough to walk us through everything even when he was finishing up getting the place ready. He communicated mid week and check to make sure we had everything we needed.
The unit is small but worked well for us. Kitchen had everything we needed for morning coffees, cheese and fruit afternoon snacks. The washing machine came in handy but didn't work great for drying. But no worries, there was a drying rack that we would hang clothes on and it worked just fine.
We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Paris.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at the apartment and very much enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and safe apartment with cold AC and lots of hot water and pressure for showers. A convenient grocery store right across the street, a boulangerie a few steps away, and a lively square close by. Many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. Very good communications with Thierry, the owner. Highly recommend!

Even though it is located in the very busy Le Marais area, the apartment was lovely and quiet for sleeping with the windows open. It is NOT luxurious, large or has a nice view! But everything we needed was there, including coffee, shower gel, lots of toilet paper, dishwasher etc. Air conditioner extremely loud but not really needed! Great location near many many restaurants and bars, Hôtel de Ville Metro station, the Seine, the Louvre, little shop for essentials directly opposite. The only thing to improve is provide some bigger glasses please! (there was just one medium-sized wineglass and no beer glasses - all other glasses were thimbles!).

My sister and I stayed at Thiery’s flat for 10 days on our first trip to Paris. The pictures, and his description, captured it perfectly. Everything was clean, and all provisions were supplied (I.e. coffee, dish soap, paper towels, etc). One thing, especially if you’re from the U.S., is no wash clothes. This must be a European thing, though, since it’s happened in other countries too. We had plenty of space, and did also utilize the outside patio quite often, even though the view is just the back of another building. The flat was very private and quiet. Thierry was VERY responsive to questions and requests. In addition to meeting us at the flat on the first day to explain things, he even answered unrelated questions via What’s App. (Like where can I mail a postcard?) Best of all HAS to be the flat’s location; just a couple of blocks off Rivoli ( a major street) and one block from a courtyard with at least 8 restaurants around it…not to mention a grocery store and bar right across the street! Seriously THE BEST! Oh, and as others have mentioned, the Metro is just a short walk away too! Thiery, your place really is a gem! So glad I found it on VRBO!

Loved the location, 3 minutes to the metro, shops and restaurants right out the door. The host was wonderful!! Any needs or questions and he was right there to answer. I will definitely stay here again!

Location perfect for walking and metro. Nice to have the balcony. Nice plaza and stores close by, full of Parisian action. Bathroom great, lots of hot water. Host very responsive. Could use upgraded bedding and baths towels. Rug and couch upholstery could be cleaned.
Overall a worthy property.

What a great place to stay. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Apartment was very secure and because it was in an inner courtyard it was very quiet. The owner was very responsive to any questions and concerns. I would definitely stay again.

It's a great space and a perfect location. It's a roomy and very well stocked apartment- offering everything we needed. Wonderful and cozy balcony that we used often. Both the bed and the sleeper couch were very comfortable. Thierry is an awesome host and we look forward to staying there again.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Pictures are accurate. What cannot be beat is the location. The apartment is down the street from a variety of restaurants. We were able to walk to Notre Dame & the Louvre & had a great dinner in the Latin Quarter. Thierry, our host, was wonderful & helped with our questions. We plan to come back!

This property, hosted by Thierry, was in a fantastic location! Close to the Seine, Metro, cafes, bakeries, boutique shops, bars, and cultural sights of interest!
Thierry was completely thorough with all his instructions and answered our few questions very very quickly.
The water/dryer was a huge plus! A couple drawbacks: bath towels would not even wrap completely around our bodies, and we are both size 8; the space would benefit from luggage racks to raise the suitcases as there are no closets or dressers. Bending over to the suitcase is hard on old bones.
Our time in Paris was fabulous and would recommend a stay here.

The flat was nice and welcoming and the perfect base to discover Paris. So conveniently located to access all highlights and in the heart of Le Marais! The building next door was going through a refurbishment and yet we didn't get any noise or issues. The owner is very friendly and reliable, attentive host.
Everything is designed to make you feel comfortable from room temperature to coffee / tea, the little umbrella for emergencies, and plenty of storage space, great high power shower.
The only improvement I can imagine is the wardrobe section: plenty of space to hang clothes but a little shelving unit in front of it makes it hard to reach - this is really the only little thing you could notice.

We were very happy with the apartment which lived up to its description. The location was perfect. The apartment was comfortable and met all our needs. A supermarket across the road was very convenient as was the metro a 5-minute walk away. The 2 levels of stairs were not an issue, and we are in our 60s with several suitcases.

The location can’t be beat. Very easy to walk to many major attractions, centrally located between the St. Paul and Hôtel de Ville metro stops, and the neighborhood is great for unique shopping and eating. Thierry was immediately responsive when I needed some help checking in and made sure I was okay. I will definitely recommend this location to friends and family and hope to come back soon myself!

Spent 8 nights at this cozy flat. It’s two flight of stairs up and you have to go through 3 doors but felt like a real Parisian experience. We really needed a bed, shower, refrigerator and couch to relax on after a day of sightseeing and the flat had all of that. After the first night, it got hot and the AC didn’t work. Thierry, the landlord brought over a portable AC to that day. It was a small hassle to put out the hose to the outside each night but it cooled the flat immediately. There is a supermarket across the street, a boulangerie sound the corner and tons of restaurants within walking distance. We ate most of our meals here. The metro is a 7 minute walk away and we used it every day to get to attractions. La Marais is an eclectic and interesting neighborhood and great to shop and people watch. Would highly recommend this place. Thierry was very easy to work with and very responsive and easy to get a hold of.

Can happily recommend this location. Easy walking distance to major Paris tourist locations (Eiffel tower was not as close). Thierry was very communicative before and during our stay. One big plus was how quiet this apartment is!

The apartment is very comfortable with everything you could need. There are pots and pans, plates, coffee cups, and cutlery if you want to cook or dine in. We appreciated having a kitchen with fridge because we often ate in for breakfast.— usually something simple like yogurt and croissant. We didn’t want to have to eat out for every meal.
The location is awesome. It is right in the heart of Le Marais. It is near many metro and bus stops if you want to take public transportation but also so close to so many things that you can get there by walking. It is within walking distance of St. German, Ile St. Louis, Notre Dame, and more. We even walked back from Musee D’Orsay after a stop for lunch along the way. The apartment is surrounded by many wonderful boutiques, restaurants, and patisseries.
There is also a blow dryer and flat iron in the apartment which I found so helpful since my blow dryer died. It was nice that one was available with the correct voltage,
Also, Thierry is a wonderful host and very responsive,. I was always impressed because he always responded so quickly whenever I had a question. I also appreciated his flexibility on our arrival day to let us arrive a little early since our flight arrived early.

My daughter and I rented this apartment for a week and it was simply perfect. Thierry was helpful and easy to work with, the location couldn’t have been better, no loud noises, place was clean and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend booking.
