About this house rental
Situated in Rapid City, this charming house for £197 per night is a great option for your next vacation. We have hired 10,000 angels to clean the house and are anxiously awaiting your arrival. We have notified the finest chefs in town that you will be visiting and to prepare a feast. We have called Custer State Park to notify them to get some buffalo along the road and brush their hair for you to look at while you drive through. When we heard you were booking with us and traveling a fathom, we called Gutzon Borglum and told him to spit shine Mount Rushmore so that it is presentable for you and looking its best. I called the cowboys, if you are going to go to the rodeo, they promise to put on a show and ride their bulls the full 8 seconds. The archeologists at School of Mines and down in the Badlands were called in to shine up the tyrannosaurus rex's. In other details, this is a brand new - built in August 2021 - home. We have a 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom house with a 2 car garage. 2,000 square foot garage. 5 minute drive to I-90 - centrally located in the Beautiful Black Hills. Boulevard is >100 feet with ample room to park a trailer and any other vehicles. Three queen beds, one bunk bed and a twin bed (6 beds in total). An air mattress is available to inflate and sleep on if needed. We have everything you need. Kitchenware, pots/pans, silverware/chopsticks, Coffee/K-Cups, and laundry. There is a grill on the back deck. TV downstairs with streaming services - Disney + and Hulu provided. Wi-Fi for those that need it. Work bench in the garage with some basic tools. Two family rooms. Everything you need to have a comfortable place to stay while you explore the Black Hills. The pictures do not do the view justice. The property proffers an amazing skyline view of Rapid City. No pets allowed or indoor smoking, please. Rapid City is the state’s second largest city (with an urban population of 77,503 and metropolitan population of 148,749) and is nestled at the foot of the beautiful Black Hills. Mount Rushmore, Badlands National Park, and Crazy Horse Memorial are all within an hour of the house. Rapid City enjoys a relatively mild climate and offers year-round recreational opportunities, including, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, and hunting, to name a few. Pros:
The house is relatively new with fully stocked goodies and supplies! The basement was full of different board games, including a classic Playstation 1, and it still works! It also has an acoustic guitar that we enjoyed playing with.
The deck on the back offers a good view of the city with stunning sunsets!
Cons:
Found some wasps in one of the basement bedroom (the one with the queen bed). Our family was not really bothered by the wasps, but it might be a problem with other guests. The owner said that they will take care of it once we moved out.

The house was perfect; cute, clean and nicely stocked. The host James was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor problem that was no fault of James, but he was very willing to help and resolved the issue.

The home was everything, and more, we expected. Very clean and organized. Great location and easy to get to all local attractions. Really could not have been a better spot for us. Thanks to James, I had my morning coffee, on the deck, looking out over the city! Thanks for a great experience!!

My family six and I stayed here along with my parents. It’s an awesome house and a great location that’s close to everything. No more than a 35 min drive to all the sites you want to see you around Rapid City. Awesome sunsets off of the back deck with a sweet telescope to check out the moon.

This house was perfect! We had 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children (ages 11 13, 16). It was a great location. Short easy drive to get into Rapid but far enough out where you weren't in the middle of the busyness of everything. Nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed going back to the house in the evenings to relax and enjoyed being with family!!

Perfect home for family to stay. Home was clean, well furnished, and is perfectly located. Day trips to sites were within a hour drive or less. Owner was super helpful with everything, very friendly, and communicated well. If you have never been to Rapid City, plan your trip and stay here. You won't regret it. We are already planning our trip back!

Great place to stay!! Location is absolutely perfect!! Just on the edge of the city with all the amenities and only half hr drive to about any attraction you would want to do in the Black Hills. Get a great view of the city at night in a great neighborhood that’s quiet and no neighbors to block your view off the back deck. Host was great and was more then eager to help with any questions and opened everything up in his home like it was yours. I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was one of my best experiences. Nothing hidden just a beautiful home located close to all the attractions of the Black Hills. We could not have asked for a better experience and my family will definitely make this a regular place to come and stay!!!

This was one of the best experiences I've had on Vrbo so far. The owner is UNBELIEVABLY kind and responsive. We have never been to Rapid City and he not only answered all of my questions immediately but he helped guide us to the best tourist attractions based on what we were most interested in. He was a wealth of information and knew exactly which direction to point us in!
The house was in the most perfect location. Not even 20 minutes to Mt. Rushmore, about 45 mins or so to Custer State Park and Crazy Horse wasn't far either. It was about an hour to the Badlands and Wall Drug. It's right in the center of it all.
The house itself was exactly what we needed for 6 people - 3 adults and 3 children. We loved looking out at the Black Hills at night with a great view from the back porch. Kitchen table was so nice and big and upstair bed was very comfortable. Coffee pods were provided and granola bars and very simple instructions from the owner! I loved being in a subdivision on the 4th of July - there were people everywhere in the neighborhood and fireworks going off in all locations. It was a very festive atmosphere and great for the kids to run up and down the street! The gaming system in the basement was the kids favorite part and I loved being able to get all of our laundry washed and dried at the house as well.
If you're looking for a smaller house to lay your head at night after long days of being a tourist this is the best place to stay! There is even a park a block away in the neighborhood for kids to play on! Only a mile away from a little grocery store as well. I will for sure stay here again next time we are in Rapid City. Thanks so much for a great say and memories that will last a lifetime!
