Good, clean room

The location is fabulous for skiers with a very short walk to the gondola, or anywhere else for food and shopping ( except the grocery store; that is a shuttle run). You can rent and store skis along the way at Gondola Ski and Sports. Appreciated the hot breakfast every morning. Beds were comfortable. The living room sleeper couch was uncomfortable to sit on, and the kitchen is very basic. More of a place to heat up/chop up things rather than cook a meal from scratch. Other than that, we were very happy, and would stay there again.

We were at Forest Suites for a quick weekend trip. We enjoyed the stay overall and had a good time. Few notable details about the stay and the property.
The good:
- Great location, just steps from Heavenly Village. To top it off, there is no more properties on the mountain side so if you get a unit on that side, you get great views of the slopes, gondola going up etc.
- The amenities are in good working order. You get heated pool, hot tub, game room, wine hour/hot coco in happy hour
- They do have Parking/WiFi included in the mandatory resort fees
- breakfast was included with decent continental options
- They do have a good number (4) of EV chargers for those who need it
Now the cons:
- The property is really showing it age and is extremely dated. And not just one thing. The windows, doors, cabinets, kitchen and bath. All screaming a need to remodel.
- Kitchen does not have dishwasher, a big deal if you are with a family and trying to eat in for health and wallet
- The layout/floor plan is awkward to navigate and lacking elevator for second level.
- They only service the rooms if you stay more than 4 nights (which may or may not be an issue)
And finally, they staff was friendly and all. Overall I'd say the property is a good experience getting drawn down to average due to the above. Some TCL would take it to great!

Great location. Walking distance to Heavenly gondola, restaurants, and shops. Great for families.

Staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.The bathrooms need updating and better cleaning. The shower curtain smelled like mildew and had red nail polish, which looked like blood at first. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

*WATCH OUT FOR $40 ROOM CLEANING FEE* Nice remodeled room. Heater stopped working, but electric fireplace kept suite warm.

Property is in a great location - just across the street from the Heavenly Gondola and Village. Suite was spacious, kitchen had basic pans and plates for cooking, bed was comfortable. Good amenities. There was bit of wear and tear, but overall we are very happy with our stay and will come back!

Great location!!!! The suite was clean but was not in the greatest shape. Previous repairs were obvious since paint and grout didn’t not match in many spots. The couch in the main room was very uncomfortable to sit.

Amazing! Loved having a full kitchen with everything needed to cook. The open living room with fireplace and tv was nice and kept us together. Great having two bathrooms! A quick walk to everything. Breakfast was basic but free and convenient. Think like heated up frozen hash browns and not real real potatoes but that’s just being super picky. Staff are all really nice. Overall would definitely stay again.

Extremely nice hotel! Wonderful suites that were newly updated and very clean. They had all new appliances and bedding it seemed. This hotel is really keeping up with their property. Nice staff and they even have evening reception goodies. More than enough to do within walking distance. No brainer for booking this same property next time I visit the area.

Great place to stay at especially if you have Pets. Friendly staff. Loved the game room! The evening wine and morning hot coco are just wonderful bonus! Convenient and walking distance to town’s attractions and shopping! We will definitely come back!

This is the second time that I’ve stayed here. They’re nice older apartments, with either one bedroom and or two bedrooms. Nice and clean, and if you need service for anything, they respond immediately. The staff has always been courteous and helpful whenever I have any questions.

Our trip was our 5th year anniversary with my wife. It was going back to our old memories we had there. The place was beautiful, service was great and professional. The rooms were cozy and the sites were breathtaking. Plenty of things to do and keep us entertained. Breakfast was the first thing we woke up to and plenty of it. Rooms were a little outdated in certain areas but nevertheless we would come back again.

We were able to do early check in, and to our surprise we were upgraded from a 1 bedroom deluxe to a 2 bedroom. Which was a great surprise. We've stayed here before and had always been a great experience for us and the kids. Only thing that want so great but still fine was their elevators are not in service and one tv remote was out of battery. They provided smore kits to use at the fire pit. Kids loved that. It's close to everything! Stay comes with breakfast at the lobby.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. A lot of space for my family of five, without spending a fortune. It may not be the fanciest place (the grounds could use a little TLC), but it is clean and comfy. I would definitely return to this location.

Great location, property is old and needs updating. Breakfast was decent and the free wine hour from 4-5 was nice. The place could be a little cleaner but overall a decent place.

Well . It was clean However the sofa was so torn up that the foam was sticking out,door handles broken off and laying on the floor toilet broke in the middle of the night. TV didn’t work when we got there because it wasn’t hooked up correctly and in order to get the heat to work you had to crank it up to 80 just for it to get 70° I was not impressed. I wanted to check the place out for a possible wedding venue next time we’ll look into staying at the Marriott.

The staff running the breakfast were lovely. The fees were less than desired and the front desk folks were unfriendly. Besides that, it was a decent stay.

The staff at front desk she was amazing at checking and checking out . I don’t recall her name but we check in on 09/24/23 at 7:00 pm we check in. I would definitely come back ! Plus the breakfast staff was super attentive. I love the experience and will recommend it to friends !

We would definitely stay here again. This property is right near the stateline casinos and tram ride, but it's back behind the main highway and village area and is much quieter. The breakfast is excellent -- one of the nicest we have had anywhere except for Europe! The only reason I gave the overall rating a 4 instead of a 5 is because we had some minor plumbing issues in our bathroom. However, when we reported these problems to the clerk as we were checking out, he made an adjustment on our payment which was very kind.

The hotel was very old, our 2 bedroom room was in desperate need of an update. The bathroom tiles had been painted and were chipping, as was the shower. The sofa in the living room was torn, dirty & old. Ready for the dump, not even donating shape. Kitchen same,, cabinets were old, there was a section that had something? It was covered with plywood & painted. I was happy we didn’t use it.
We did give breakfast a try, it’s very simple, scrambled eggs, sausage breads & fruit. You don’t serve yourselves & may have to wait for help. Portions are small but better than the room!
The halls leading to our room smelled like a locker room in a wet ski shop,
The best thing about this place was the location, it’s right behind the Gondola, shops & restaurants.
I think the pictures on the website were deceiving

Very spacious 2 bedroom and great location that’s walking distance to restaurants. We biked from our room to the beach.
