Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Very comfortable king size bed, several options for sitting (desk, armchair, window bench). Bathroom was clean and modern. Ample free parking, and, of course, the restaurant is great. When I think of SLO, this is the first place that comes to mind!

Cute buildings and main building. Room 2 had a awful smell and old carpet. Room had a window AC/heater that didn’t have an auto control. It would just heat full blast until the room was way too hot. I turned it off and then it got really cold by morning. Place is pretty run down. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms and staff are amazing and far exceeded my expectations. Had breakfast in the morning and the food was delicious. As an added note, I had apparently left a jacket in the room. A couple days later I received a note to that effect and two days after that, the jacket was returned to me in the mail. I’ve traveled quite a bit over the years and never had an item left behind returned to me in the mail. Considering all the above of an apple farm customer for life.

Comfortable and relaxing stay at the Apple Farm in. A favorite place to stay.

Nice people, clean rooms, great wine to test, but would have really liked the hot tub to be operational as advertised.

Very nice, old school property with fireplace in the room. Unique looking property. Very friendly staff

Our room was very nice and comfortable (we stayed in the inn, not the trellis court). It was relatively quiet. The hotel has been around for a while and it feels dated in some ways, particularly in the bathrooms. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and then only on certain days, which is a little inconvenient. It is not quite what it was in its heyday, but it is still a nice place to stay, and the staff has always been nice and helpful.

Room was quaint and clean however it needs to be updated for technology. No USB or even plugs on bedside tables. Only regular plugs on 2 side walls by floor. That’s where I plugged in my phone. I have hearing aides that need to be charged. My regular plug wouldn’t fit in bathroom wall socket. The shower was nice. The bed comfortable. No TV guide in room. WiFi not very good either. Asked the front desk about this and was told that it was because the hotel was full.

Fantastic as always. Heated pool, great restaurant, everything better than expected. Except the restaurant stopped selling cornbread with honey butter.

Cute, clean and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The chocolate chips they give you at check in are delicious as was the Apple cider available in the lobby.

It was our first visit and we would definitely stay here again. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.

Loved how spacious the room was and the decor was very nice. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The only downside is that the gift shop isn't attached to the lobby and their hours of operation weren't very long.

Overall the Apple Farm was lovely. The room was a large size and the bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant and offered good suggestions. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is I was charged a daily resort fee and the WiFi never worked in room 307. The TV was frustrating to use and the guide didn’t work. Otherwise nice property.

The room was musty and the heater was old and very loud. The room was over $300 per night and not worth the price.

Good stay. Shower pressure is mediocre.

We’ve had many wonderful stays at the Apple Farm. It’s been some years between our last stay and this one. Since then much has changed. No more gift shop and popcorn in the mill house, no more free-flowing wine with delicious biscuits and fruit at happy hour in the carriage house, no more voucher for discount at breakfast. The facility is still beautiful. But for the same price, I can find another nice property with complimentary breakfast at least.

Definitely the place is beautiful and very well decorated, but we got the worst room #100, it’s under the reception, right next to the elevator, and in front of the pool, it was noisy all day and night , it was awful, we couldn’t sleep, the pillows are also very bad, they are fluffy and have a middle flat portion , our stay was really bad, so for the future I will probably go here again but totally book a room away from elevator and away from pool too. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ROOM 100.

A beautiful place with a fireplace and a cute theme. Lovely service that gave us an 1:30 early check in

Everyone was so nice. What a pleasant experience. Beautiful room-- and also thank God the room did not have those bright white LED bulbs. Getting those small details right makes a big difference.

Really enjoyed our stay!

I arrived very late and left very early so I did not have much time to read the property. I know your reputation. My room was OK I’m not say it was outstanding the TV didn’t work I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace and it was too late to ask for help, but I didn’t need the TV so I was OK with it. I just think the room could’ve been better prepared.

Arrived about 6pm after dark. Street sign not on. Hard to find. Restaurant only open for breakfast.

Computer problem check-in, quite delayed. Nice facility. They have shut down the restaurant and seem to compromise on staffing.

While it may not be the most modern accommodations available, Apple Farm is my favorite place to stay when I’m passing through because of the cozy farmhouse vibes that feel more like staying with family than staying at a hotel. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and the ease of getting to it from the freeway can’t be beat.

Generally not nice. Poor night’s sleep. Cold water. A mirror placed so you could see yourself wipe after using the bathroom. I can’t unsee that.

It's a super cute small place. Very charming. The outdoor pool is heated. The buildings are old so it's not soundproof. We were able to hear kids running around and women talking loudly at midnight. However, we loved our stay. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. There was a mandatory small fee for welcome "free" cookies and wine tasting at the property.

My daughter and I enjoyed staying at Apple Farm in so very much!
The room was comfortable comfortable, capacious, and super cozy. We loved the old school quality of the inn.
It is very close to San Luis Obispo and we enjoyed coming home and relaxing in our lovely suite each evening.
We will definitely come back.

Overall a decent hotel. Restroom toilet seat is too low, pretty inconvenient for tall and the person with mobility difficulties

I love the cookies at check in. The complimentary wine tasting is a definite plus. The rooms are always nice, large, and cozy. I have stayed at various properties and I always go back the Apple Farm. The property is just so unique and stands out from the other more commercial/ larger chain hotels.
