Let’s start with the good - the house was in a good location and felt safe. Loved the idea of a bunk house. The bedrooms in the main house were all upstairs and there was a door to them so you didn’t hear a lot of the downstairs noise. Overall the house was pretty run down, dirty and smells musty. 2 of the 4 beds upstairs were broken down and we had to bring the twin mattresses in from the bunk house to sleep on the floor. The door frames and laundry cabinets had grime all over them. The windows were filthy (one in the bunk house was broke) and the dishes that were out in the air had to all be washed before they could be used. We found two cockroaches and spiders in the house. The ice maker didn’t work. The washer only worked on quick wash and the dryer never turns off. The stairs had laminate flooring on them and were missing some of the edge coverings and were loose. We came in on a Saturday, the weather was beautiful but unfortunately the pool was full of leaves and not usable. There was no pool net. There were leaves all over the patio and the yard had weeds two feet high. It looked like it hadn’t been mowed at all for the year. There was a lot of trash in the yard (old pool toys and inflatables) and the garage was full of trash as well. We messaged Birdy Properties and they said the pool was just serviced 2 days ago and there was a pool net beside the pool. There wasn’t. The next day still no news from the pool tech or follow up from the property manager beyond the pool tech doesn’t come out on the weekends. We spent an hour cleaning up the patio and bought a pool net to clean it ourselves as the rest of the week was going to be cloudy and in the 60’s. About 2 hours after we finished cleaning up the pool a tech came out. Day 3 - getting ready to make breakfast and the kitchen had flooded from the shower above it! We call the property company and we’re told oh yeah that happens. You need to put a towel between the shower and the toilet. We get the kitchen cleaned up and start to cook breakfast and the electricity goes out!! We find the breaker box and flip it, thinking we blew a fuse with everyone getting around and turning on the stove. Nothing happened so we called again. They are researching it and it does seem like there was an outage in the area and it comes back on in around 15 minutes. They sent out a maintenance guy to check the breakers and the kitchen ceiling. He looks around and leaves. Later that afternoo

Overall our stay was okay. There were somethings we weren't happy with. There were cigarette butts, used cigars and cigar packaging, dip cans and used spit bottles in the patio area. We were unable to locate a dust pan and it looked like the home hadn't been swept. There was not enough toilet paper. There were no working outlets in the master bathroom. Those are the things that bothered us.

We had 7 people staying and there was more than enough space. Great home and great service/communication. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

We visited San Antonio to get some much needed rest and relaxation, but more so in celebration of my Father-In-Laws birthday! We wanted to stay somewhere that was not only big enough for the entire family to stay but where we could enjoy each other’s company. When we came across this listing we just thought it was the perfect fit. Plenty of rooms, a pool, and a grill! Each room had plenty of space which was perfect since we had our two nephews coming with us. Every family was able to have their own room. Bathrooms and kitchen were nicely furnished. And the game area got some use with a couple of card games each night! After some busy afternoons out we did enjoy some time in the pool. Kids both said it was their favorite part of the trip. We did have some issues here and there, but the property owner was quick to respond and people from his team even made it a point to contact us. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this home.

This beautiful home was ours for the weekend. There was lots of space and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet! My family truly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was within a 2-3 mile radius.
