Our charming 3 bedroom home plus detached Casita, is located in the Keystone neighborhood in the Deco District, a vibrant and up and coming area in the heart of San Antonio. Built in the 1940s, our home has been thoughtfully updated and decorated with classic design, offering a unique and stylish experience for our guests. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a detached Casita with bunk beds and living space. The home comfortably sleeps 8 and that is maximum capacity. We believe in a good night's sleep and have provided high end mattresses with premium linens. Both down and synthetic pillows are available for your choosing, as well as down duvets and cotton blankets. The Casita is detached from the main house and is located in the fenced yard. It has a living area with futon, TV, a sink area and a dedicated remote work desk, perfect for those who need to work from home during their stay. (Note: There is not a bathroom in the Casita) The recently remodeled kitchen, in the main house, supplies all your needs for a family meal. Also provided is a full size washer and dryer with detergent for your convenience. There is a private covered patio with dining table and a grill for a nice meal outdoors. We do allow pets but must be pre-approved prior to booking. There is a two dog maximum and requires a pet fee upon booking. (Please see pet rules prior to booking) The temperature in the home is kept between 70 and 78 for your comfort. Our home is located just a short distance from downtown San Antonio and other popular tourist attractions, such as the Alamo, River Walk, and Pearl District. The Keystone neighborhood is known for its active and friendly community, making it the perfect place to stay for those looking to experience the local San Antonio culture. We really enjoyed a lot the house for the 7 of us. Honey was such a great and welcoming host. Everything is perfect and there are so many detailed attentions that make us feel really like at home. The kitchen is fully stocked, the house is comfy and super clean, the kids were delighted with all the games and we found the location pretty handy, not too far from everything and very close from the HEB (walking distance). I do recommend warmly this house. And communication with Honey was seamless and very comprehensive (we had to update a bit our trip)

Amazing Hosts, always available if you have any questions. Check in was very easy and House had all the basic necessities already stocked for your convenience. House was very clean and felt like home staying here.Very cozy and relaxing environment inside the house. I will definitely choose to stay here again during my next trip to visit daughter.

Great place to stay with your family. Perfect location for travel to San Antonio. Beautiful clean house with everything you need. Short walk to the H.E.B. grocery market. Just about 10 minutes easy drive to down town. The hosts were awesome, easy to reach and helpful. My family had a wonderful time. We would love to visit again. Thank you!!

This place was amazing! The living room furniture was very comfy as were the beds throughout. The hosts were very easy to reach and provided a ton of great info to our group about things to do and places to go. I would give more stars if it was possible! We will definitely be back if ever in San Antonio again!

We enjoyed our stay in San Antonio at a great Vrbo home. The cookies and donuts were a nice touch. The master bedroom had an adjustable bed, which is the first time we’ve been away from home that has one. The casita was enjoyed by two of our grandchildren. The game closet was a nice extra. Honey decorated the home to match the Christmas season. There was ample parking. The HEB grocery store was just a block away. Distance from the airport and the river walk was about a 15 minute drive. We were able to text with the owners and receiv ed quick responses. We very much enjoyed your home.

We enjoyed our stay at Keystone Retreat. James and Honey were perfect hosts, easy to communicate with and their digital guide was phenomenal. The house is equipped with everything that might be needed. Comfortable beds, clean and exactly as promised. Grocery store near by made it easy for us to get anything we might need or want. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your house.

We had a rough start to our vacation. From another listing which was the worst experience man ever had on vacation. But James and his family saved our vacation by providing exactly what they said they would provide and more a beautiful home with every amenity you can think of. If he thought you need it, they had it in the house, which was very comfortable. Location was great very pleased. Very happy and will recommend their home to anybody. They made us feel very comfortable and relaxed after the first crazy few days we had we highly recommend James in his home. . We are very grateful that we found them.

This was a great place to stay! The home was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the home was very inviting. The owners made a guide book with recommendations on local places to eat and things to do. The guide was very much appreciated! We enjoyed some really delicious food and had a great time sightseeing. This was our first time booking a home for vacation, and we couldn't be happier that it was with James and Honey!

I have never felt more at home 15 hours and 1,000+ miles from my actual house. My husband is in San Antonio working for a couple of weeks, and it’s been difficult being apart for a such long period of time. At a moments notice, I made the decision to make the long drive to spend the weekend with him. I found this property within a few minutes of searching and instantly knew it was exactly what we were looking for. Shortly after booking, I received a message from the home owners with information I needed for my stay. Within this information was a guidebook complete with every piece of information you could ever need and then some. The amount of detail they put into this guidebook is unlike anything I have ever seen. Driving directions, WiFi password, recommended restaurants and even what to pack. Beyond that, they took the time to take a picture of various appliances with instructions on use. The home is google automated which was a highlight to my 12 year old. After a long night/day of travel, we walk in the door to a personalized card from the homeowners thanking us for our stay, and a basket with snacks in them. Such a small detail that made a big impression on us. The home is VERY organized with absolutely everything you could possibly need. While we didn’t cook, the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The home is very beautifully decorated with the perfect touch of fall and Texas throughout the home. 5 stars isn’t enough for this property.

We had a wonderful time visiting with family we took my mother 89yrs old to her home town to visit her two elderly brothers and her sister 91 from Houston also traveled to see them and stayed with us they were like two little girls holding holds my mothers cousin 93yrs old also came by to visit their goodbyes were bittersweet. Honey and James your home was amazing it accommodated everyone that stopped by to visit. Everyone that visited loved your home thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this possible. It is a very lovely home and centrally located to everything. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room to relax and visit with family. We stayed here for our son’s AF basic training graduation. The house was provided with all the necessary things that you may need. We definitely recommend this rental.

Our stay at this property were amazing. The house was so clean and the perfect size and location to everything you want to do in San Antonio. Very close to downtown and yet real close to Sea World area. From booking our reservation through VRBO to messaging and texting the owners direct, you cannot ask for better service. James and Honey were right there with us sending over attractions and information of the different restaurants near the house. They are remarkable Host. The house is setup with Google, so you do not have to get up to turn on lights. Our 3 grands loved everything about the house as well. The 6 and 13 year old thought they were grown because they got to sleep in the detached from the house bedroom. It has 2 double bunk beds and they both had their own bed. I highly recommend you give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again James and Honey. You guys are amazing. May God continue to bless you each day. This is probably the best vacation home we have stayed in! It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, extremely safe and was supplied with everything we needed. The home is close to groceries and to the convention center located downtown. The owners were very easy to communicate with and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even gave us a wonderful gift of snacks the last day of our trip! We look forward to staying with the again!

Beautiful! The house was so cute and very clean. We felt at home immediately. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and a laundry room. Hosts are AWESOME!! We travel alot working and found this place in the top ten homes away from home. Honey and James are very good hosts, giving advice for local spots to eat and making sure everything is up to par. Our party enjoyed the experience and we definately RECCOMMEND Keystone to ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY!!!

This location is gorgeous and modern. Its in a quiet neighborhood and its an easy location to travel from. We were never more than 15-20 minutes away from any area. Also decent food nearby. The owners we lovely and we have no complaints.

Overall our stay, me and my family, on this property was great. The area is filled with nice tourist attractions not far from the location. The properties interior was very spacious and accommodating for our weekend trip. Additionally, the hosts where great at communicating with us with small issues around the house in a very kind and gracious manner. Finally, they were very caring at ensuring or comfort during our stay.

I came to the city for my brothers funeral. The host left me a condolence card on the counter, and I thought that was amazing. The home was just as described and looked exactly like the photos. In a very difficult time it felt good to go back to a home that felt like home and it was great for my mom to feel comfortable. The host was fabulous. The house was beautiful. Every room is decorated colorful and the Casita was beautiful. I’m very glad I chose this home. It was near the center of everything in San Antonio and a grocery store. The home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. I would recommend these guys on any given day you will not be disappointed at all. It will feel like you’re at your own home. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen was beautiful. The kitchen had everything you could need you don’t need anything but food in this house. Thank you so much for being a great host and a great person to think about my family at a difficult time that we were going through. God bless you.
