Tides that Bind is a six-bedroom, five-bath third row beach house located 1.1 miles north of Surfside Pier. This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances including a microwave and dishwasher, washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans throughout. Eight TVs, DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king, four queen, two twin-over-twin and one trundle. Outdoor amenities include a private 23-by-10-foot swimming pool with saltwater filtration, furnished poolside patio, hot tub, and gas grill. Limited parking. Motorcycles permitted. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. It had easy access to the beach, a well stocked and fully labeled kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of bathrooms. We all had a wonderful time and it was the perfect place for us!

Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, but some areas were dusty (entertainment center in living area). The house needs new mattresses because the egg carton toppers were too soft and worn. The pool was inviting, there was ample parking and a well supplied kitchen. Overall a nice stay.

Because everyone does not go to bed at the same time, they were useless. We would stay there again because the location was perfect, the pool and hot tub was serviced twice while we were there! We did not need the bunk beds. It was a very comfortable house!

The living room in this house is more spacious than most and had plenty of seating for a big crowd. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, plenty of pots and pans and dishes, and even had a hand mixer and 2 coffee makers. The owner has taken time to decorate the house tastefully. And it's so close to the beach. We had a great week.

We did need a way to plug in our golf cart, called maintenance after hours and they immediately showed up with an extension cord and made sure that everything worked before leaving. All switches labeled inside, can’t think of anything that could have been better. Only negative was that no shovels are allowed on the beach to build sand sculptures...

The rental was everything we dreamed of: clean, spacious, comfortable, with a wonderful pool, relaxing porches and near the beach! Wonderful long walks on the beach and a mesmerizing Sunrise at 7am. Close to multiple great restaurants and shopping. Fantastic weather! Couldn't have asked for anything more!

They were by far the most welcoming, helpful and responsive company we have used. It was an extremely hot week and the upstairs ac unit was having trouble keeping up and anytime we called they were helpful. I can not say enough good about Garden City Realty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was everything we were expecting and more. It's a beautiful place with lots of room. The location is great - close to the beach in what seems to be a family-friendly area and still an easy drive to dining and other features of the area.My only complaint is with the check in. Apparently 4:00 check in doesn't mean what I thought it does. If you read carefully, they say check in begins at 4:00. Our rental was not ready for check in until 5:30 and even then we were allowed to enter before the inspection because I had been waiting and complaining. The staff was friendly and apologetic, but the wait was frustrating. So, don't get there early and have plans to kill time while waiting to check in. Otherwise it was a very nice vacation, and I would love to visit again.
