BEACHWALK SECTION IN SHIPYARD PLANTATION HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA LOCATION: Beach Walk, Shipyard, Island Areas, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA (40 minutes from Savannah, GA. 90 minutes from Charleston, SC) Airport of choice Savannah, GA. ACCOMMODATIONS: 2000 square foot Villa, 3 Bedrooms + sleeper sofa, 3.5 Baths, sleeps 6-9. DESCRIPTION: Our Beachwalk villa is a perfect vacation spot for families, golfers, tennis players and swimmers. Located across from the Sonesta hotel in Shipyard Plantation. Out our back door walk 10' to the private pool and or 10' to the path leading to the beach. Our villa is just a short walk to Van der Meer Tennis Resort and the many bike trails. Recent updates include new "hardwood tile" floors, new tile backsplash, new stainless steel appliances, new mattresses, new couches, new dinning room table and chairs, new light fixtures and other small appliances. Our villa is meant to feel like your second home! It's equipped with an open kitchen, relaxing back living room, great for gathering with a large flat screen TV, washer and dryer, and deck for lots of sun soaking. This Villa is uniquely designed with a breakfast solarium looking out onto the treed pool area. All bedrooms are on the second floor. Of the three bedrooms, two have private full bathrooms and the third bedroom has access to the full bathroom in the hall, also on the second floor. For convenience, there is a half bath on the main floor. Our Beachwalk Villa also provides a private swimming pool for the guests of Beachwalk. From our deck walk 10 steps to the right and you are at the pool gate and go 10 steps to the left and you are at the path to the Beach which is a 5 minute walk away. Our Villa is at the entrance of the Beachwalk complex and provides a very comforting vacation spot for its guests. If you know Hilton Head, it's a beautiful setting amongst towering oaks, Spanish moss trees, palmetto palms, close to the famous Harbour Town, great dining, over 30 golf courses and the best tennis facilities in the East. This was our 33rd Christmas in Hilton Head. The first 30 were as time-share owners. We are very familiar with Hilton Head in general, many of the golf courses, and Shipyard Plantation in particular having played Galeon/Brigatine/Clipper around 200 times over the years as we come from a golfing family and usually stay 2 weeks.
We enjoyed this property and will book it again in the future. The layout works with 3 bedrooms and full bathrooms upstairs away from the hustle and bustle in the living room and kitchen so people can sleep in or have quiet time away from each other. The property has been recently updated, has beautiful flooring on the lower level, and is very clean. Full size washer and dryer on first floor utility room off of half bath works much better than other rentals with combo stacked washer/dryer.
Although we were here for 2 weeks over Christmas and didn't get to use it due to the winter temperatures, the community pool is just a few steps off the back porch. Has propane grill off of deck. Just a very short walk to the beach. No bikes with unit but rentals are always cheap. Easy bike ride to Coligny Plaza.
Owner has front door on electronic keypad so you don't need to keep track of keys just the code in you head/phone. They do change the code right at checkout time so be prudent on your departure (we had a dead car battery and while waiting on AAA for 2 hours, got locked out but a quick phone call to the owner got us back in).

Our stay in Hilton Head, SC was very nice for the month of October. The weather was perfect every day, between 75 and 80 degrees. We both had a much needed relaxing vacation.

Had everything our family of 5 (plus 3 yr old and infant) needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable air conditioning (rooms upstairs nice and cool), washer/dryer, brand new pack and play, several games and plenty of room for our group to spread out. The beach was about a 5 min walk and the pool was literally out the back door. Hoping to come back next year!

It was a pleasure. Quiet and relaxing but close to all activities and restaurants. The home we stayed in was very comfortable. Communications with the owners was excellent and very helpful.

My family and I had a great stay at 152 Beachwalk. The owners were nice and involved with us. They contacted me directly and checked in various times throughout our stay. This was extremely helpful and kind. The house has some wear and tear throughout due to usage throughout the summer. However, overall it is clean, a great location and spacious. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

This was a great vacation! The house was very nice and had a lot of room me my husband and our two kids along with my parents and my brother and sister in law stayed at this house for a week and it was very nice. The pool was in the backyard and the beach walk wasn’t bad. The owners were great and contacted me a week before the vacation sending us helpful information and also contacted us the day we checked in and stayed in touch throughout the week to see if there was anything we needed. We made a lot of memories!

We had a great stay at Nick's place. We've stayed in many of the Beachwalk condos over the years and this is by far the best one. It's close to the pool and the path to the beach is right off the back deck. The condo is very comfortable with comfy furniture and good mattresses. You can tell it has a lot of upgrades. Big bonus is how easily it is working with Nick compared to a rental agency. He's quick to respond and eager to make your vacation a wonderful experience. I can't say enough good things about this place. Book it while it's available!

We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head. This was our first time staying here and everything was clean and comfortable. The place had everything we needed and even some beach toys for the kids! The owner checked in with us to make sure we got in ok and that everything was as it should be. We had a great time!

I have been coming to HHI for many years and have stayed in other beachwalk homes. This was my favorite stay on the island since I’ve started vacationing here. Nick has an amazing home and has everything you’ll need for your stay and then some. Communication is consistent and great, and is also very easy to get a hold of. Nick and T's condo at Shipyard Beachwalk is phenomenal! We had our grown children down for our yearly HHI family vacation. The unit is a great space for 4-6 guests, giving plenty of room for privacy and family time. The pictures on VRBO do not do this condo justice! The unit was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for the family. The walk to the beach was not too far, and biking there was even easier! Nick and T were very good in communicating with us, responding in a very timely manner and giving us all the information we needed to have a relaxing and carefree vacation. EVERYTHING you need to feel at home is in the unit! We will DEFINITELY keep this condo in mind for future visits to HHI. Love the place! Thanks for sharing your place!

We loved our stay at Beachwalk. The unit was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. Owner was proactive to insure everything was as we expected. The unit was in a great location with a close walk to the beach and right outside the pool. The community is perfectly located and a quick drive to stores and restaurants. We will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful week at 152 Beach Walk! The condo has been renovated and is tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the sectional in the living room was so cozy I took a picture of the make and brand to buy for my own home:) The BEST part of staying in this condo is the proximity to the beach and pool! Absolute must for our kids. The owner was so responsive to questions and checked in with us throughout our entire stay to make sure we were having a great time! Highly recommend!

Our host Nick was great from the start. Before we even checked in he sent well wishes & throughout the trip he checked in on us. He was very helpful, responsive and able to assist through our stay! We have been vacationing as a family in Beachwalk for nearly 20 years and this was our second time staying at 152 Beachwalk. It has a great location just behind the pool and close to the bike path, with a <10 minute walk to the beach. The unit has been recently updated and has a well-supplied kitchen and laundry room. The property owners were very pleasant and accommodating, and regularly checked-in to ensure our stay was problem free (which it was!). We vacation in Beachwalk every year and will definitely stay at 152 Beachwalk again! It is a great unit and location for families!
