Location is outstanding , its literally on the beautiful beach . The room we had was on the building corner at the ocean front so fantastic views of the beach , the pier and the ocean , so great !
The shutters in the room did not close 100% so light came through early morning .
The restaurant was average , a bit of an odd menu with too many complicated dishes and also right in the hotel lobby , no privacy !

I travel a lot for business and pleasure. The staff at the Loews Santa Monica is by far the nicest, friendliest, and most helpful I ever encountered!
The staff was wonderful! They brought Dubshine to a rainy weekend!

We were offered a room upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary. We had a spectacular view of the ocean. All the staff were very friendly. The gym was great and the pool was a great bonus with it being heated. We even used it during bad weather! Our stay was short but we will be back.
There was a slight smell from the drains in the bathroom.
The weather was awful during our visit but the hotel can’t do anything about that!! However the gym & pool facilities certainly made up for us not being able to cycle along the shore line.

the hidden charges for parking and random amenities fees. I get that it’s close proximity to desirable areas but amenities should be priced into the hotel

location, ambience, decor
had an issue with minibar usage on checkout. it showed we had used each item when the minibar was untouched. all resolved and removed from bill but there is a potential problem with how this is worked out as we did g even touch the minibar.

I didn’t like that I had to leave and that I cannot stay there forever. if I could be anywhere in the world it would be there

The fire pit was awesome. All staff was extremely courteous and kind. The fitness center was spectacular and clean. The food from room service was outstanding. Check in and check out were very easy to navigate.

I booked my room through booking.com for 9/17 and later modified it for 9/24 with approval of the hotel and booking.com.
but when I got there on 9/24 there was no room booked for me!!
I waited for 45 minute to get my room.
Later I noticed I was charged twice!!!!

Took the ground floor rooms with balcony fire place.. was amaaazing..access to beach was so easy and perfect stay

customer service was amazing, we were celebrating a special event and our room was upgraded and we received a bottle of wine and some maccarones. Loved the location, room, pool, free bikes, hot tub & gym.
Only comment was that the restaurant seemed under staffed, Our server was amazing but he was alittle over whelmed with tables and a long distance from kitchen.

Very nice location right at the beach.
Value for money is quite disappointing.
In spite of the very high price we got a room that was so small that my kids said „this feels like camping“. What was really funny is that for this very high price only part of the family gets free Wi-Fi.

Although 4 guests in room and knot 2 mugs, 2 glasses, 2 dressing gowns.
Longer use of bikes - can’t get too far in an hour.
