Grateful for the roof over our heads, but...

Maintenance is extremely attentive and professional, fulfills all requests in a polite and timely manner. Housekeeping are very kind staff, they do their best to keep rooms clean. Outside facilities are kept clean and pool/courtyard area is clean. Cheapest place in the area for a room with a mini-fridge and microwave that allows pets, great central location with plenty of convenience stores, restaurant, shopping nearby... but these pros may not be worth the cons..

Obvious drug using and dealing going on with several long term and short term guests, frequent "party" guests, fights and domestic violence issues. Too many people allow their dogs to roam free without being on a leash despite the leash laws - witnessed multiple dog attacks because of irresponsible owners. Facility has no signs about leashes and front desk does not enforce unless complaints are made and there is a language barrier with some front desk staff members when trying to explain. We literally feared taking our dog outside to any of the designated pet areas because of so many other dogs not on leashes or being controlled. Rooms do not have individual heat/AC units -- all rooms are controlled by a central boiler room so everyone in the facility is either hot or cold, we had to purchase a standing fan before they turned the AC on and we kept the door cracked open for fresh air and it was still 80°+ inside the room, the windows are sealed closed. When staying more than one night, they do not offer any toiletries, toilet paper, clean towels or bedding unless you go to front desk or find the motel laundry room/housekeeping station and ask for it. If you're taller than 5'4" the shower head placement is not convenient, definitely made for shorter people. Make sure to ask/specify if you don't want an adjoining room, the front desk will not ask/tell you this about your room placement and anyone staying next to you will be very loud.

Okay, aber nicht gut

Die Lage war super. Wir sind direkt vom Grand Canyon gekommen. Direkt in der Nähe (4min) ist ein Walmart.

Keine Kühlschränke oder ICE-Maschine. Dreckiger Kopfkissenbezug (Flecken). Das Klientel, was hier unterkommt ist ebenfalls gewöhnungsdbedürftig. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir eine andere Unterkunft bevorzugen!

Room was lovely and warm. After driving from Las Vegas where it was sunny and warm we arrived in Flagstaff at night to freezing temperature and hail. So a warm room was welcoming.

It is not a case of not liking. It was basic, the room was small the view was a car park, which is usual for a motel. It was a bed for the night and sufficed at a good price. As AZ is a gun toting state, it was disconcerting for Brits to see security warnings all over!!! Even our police don't carry guns.

Perfekt für einen Besuch beim Grand Canyon

Sehr sauber, wir haben die Matratze angehoben, um nach Bettwanzen zu schauen und haben festgestellt, dass die Matratze komplett sauber, ohne Haare oder Flecken war, was wir als sehr positiv empfanden. Für uns war das Motel der perfekte Ausgangspunkt um zwei Tage am Grand Canyon zu verbringen (Fahrtzeit ca. 1,5 Stunden) und die dort sehr teuren Unterkünfte zu umgehen.

Die nahegelegene Straße sowie die Bahnstrecke mit Güterverkehr hat uns nicht gestört könnte aber für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf problematisch sein. Aufgrund der nachts „kälteren“ Außentemperaturen war bereits die Heizung angestellt und konnte nicht reguliert bzw. Ausgeschalten werden, was für uns leider viel zu warm und zu stickig zum schlafen war.

location and it is quiet. has a wonderful restaurant in walking distance

we found several bugs under the pillow. I paid extra to get the upgrade and had reserved a downstairs handicap. they refused to give it to me because they were already taken now. i reserved 6 months ago. my husband barely made the stairs and I had to make all the trips up and down to get everything out of the car. if it is reserved YOU Don’t Give it to first come first serve. i probably will find another hotel next year

Our room was very small which would’ve been ok, but the room was not cleaned very well.

STAY AWAY

NOTHING - check-in area was cramped, front desk person was nice but very hard to understand. Felt like a prison visitor room - not clean, plexiglass shielding was very dirty and held up with homemade pieces of plywood. A very bad first imrepssion.

The room pricing was so high I expected a really nice room. It was so small my friend and I had to take turns when heading to the potty. The air conditioning did not work. There was no working fan in the room at all and it was VERY HOT, making sleep impossible. THE VERY WORST WAS THE TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH. We had been driving all day and both of us needed to go #2. We were so nervous that we would have an overflow and as we're considerate, clean ladies we didn't want to leave "presents" in the toilet. The next morning we did indeed have to leave a "gift" in the commode, much to our embarrasment.

Everything else was great.

There was a strong smell from cleaning materials or possibly fabric softener. It was not a gross smell, but so strong it made it feel like it was hard to breathe. I've recently noticed this in other motels too.

Nothing need more employees who have sympathy and compassion for people who come to say good bye to their love one who was at end stage of his life, passed that morning. I had forgot my debit and only $50 in cash tried to ask if I could get room for 4 hours just to get a few hours of sleep, was told no I wasn’t about to sleep in car in freezing cold weather where heater couldn’t stay warm!!! So drove all the way home to Phoenix, uncle passed that morning drove back to Flagstaff to say final goodbye

For worker to give me room for 4 hours to get some sleep, my legs and feet were so swollen too
