it was near the boardwalk but we did not stay here
location doesn't have its own parking and the parking lot for public parking was creeeeeeppppyyy. we left and looked for a different hotel

Staff very friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
Parking is expensive. Pay outside is about ten dollars more than paying for parking directly to hotel. I wasn’t aware of paying for parking in hotel, until I checked in. Booking.com alerted me of this at 3:54AM when I was already settled and checked in. Pool is indoors but not heated.

The cleanliness, the location, the room was cute.
Nothing.

Beautiful hotel less than 5 minute walk to the Alamo, and 8 minutes from the Riverwalk! Small but cozy rooms with very comfortable beds. Amanda at the front desk made my family feel so welcome from the moment we walked in the beautiful lobby! Amanda really impressed us with her kindness and attitude throughout our entire stay!! We were so happy we found this wonderful hotel in such a perfect location. Highly recommended for visitors that want to explore San Antonio!!
Rooms are a little small due to adding bathrooms into every room. In 1920 it had community bathrooms, so it is better to have a little less space and a private bathroom.

The staff were very professional and handled everything perfectly I was very impressed with the service
I expected the breakfast to be included and was very disappointed with the charge. I was not aware of the fee to park my car until I checked out.

Love the history around the property. I loved staying in a piece of history!
I didn’t like the fact that everything was separate. Parking was separate and so was the breakfast cost.

Nothing, all good

Everything was great.! People were so kind and helpful. Location was good to walk around the town, it was very close to the river, we can enjoyed the attractions and went to the restaurants into the river. Prices were according with the expectation.
I can say that I haven't any bad comments about my stay in the Hotel or around it. Maybe the homeless around but I guess that is not a situation that the hotel can solve.

Very clean. Small cozy rooms for couples. The gym was good enough. The staff was very helpful finding close by stores etc and showed wonderful hospitality. Good price for the comfortable stay.

Nada
El hotel es sucio, muy feo, ruidoso, las habitaciones son súper incómodas

The location was awesome, very close to the river walk and very close to the alamo which I did not forget about, room and the bathroom were modern and clean. Best aspect of that hotel was the value to price ration
I guess you can not really improve that but the street that the hotel was located on was full of weird people just randomly standing there, also free parking would be awesome

The staff was absolutely exceptional! I had told them that friend was proposing this weekend and they went above and beyond for their room to decorate it for her when they got back. Truly exceptional. Thank you ladies!! The location was perfect with a great value, also.
Parking was the only downside, as any property downtown. No points taken off for them though, because this is unavoidable!

The property was located in a area where we didn’t have to get in a car, convenient location.
No legit parking, the rooms were really small and not properly cleaned, no mattress protector on the bed and some trash was still around the bed when we got in the room.

Conveniently located in downtown San Antonio and a very short walk to the riverwalk. I was on the 7th floor I got to look at everything at with a Birdseye view.
The rooms and elevators are a little snug and the parking pass is about 40 bucks but other than than that it was great.
2.0
The location
The size of the rooms, the bathrooms and the awful smell.
Also, we had to carry our suitcases upstairs to get to the room as you have to walk up a staircase to walk from the elevator to the rooms.

Very clean. It’s in a nice area. Walking distance from a lot of great places.
The guy at the front desk was very nonchalant. Not what your call friendly customer service. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was FREEEZING!! the pool was one of the reasons I wanted to come to this location.

Really close to the alamo and riverwalk.
Bathroom door didnt close completely.

Clean room/bathroom. Bed was a little too firm for me but I prefer very soft beds. Very nice stay. Heater worked well.
In my opinion, the smell in the hallway was too strong. Small elevators. Parking is too expensive. We parked in a garage a few blocks away for $10 per day & walked most everywhere.
7.0
Great location within easy walking distance to Alamo, riverwalk and other attractions. Breakfast was pretty standard in a well-spaced restaurant.
No parking lot; valet only. Building feels a little dated.

La ubicación queda cerca del riverwalk..

Comprehensive breakfast, including eggs, bacon, beans, plus the usual baked goods, waffles and cereals. Right near the Alamo, less than 10 minutes from the bus station, and 5 minutes from the River Walk. The location can't be beat for the price, and the room was very comfortable. If I return to San Antonio, I'll definitely check availability at Best Western first rather than look for hotels in general. That's something I rarely do when returning to a place.
It's not in the most spectacular part of San Antonio if you're looking for that and willing to pay a lot more.

The rooms were clean enough. It was close to Downtown. It was easy to find.
Rooms were too small, The rooms did not have working blinds, the rooms did not have black out blinds to keep the room dark. The elevators were extremely small and broke down. No parking at all unless you valet. 50 dollars for 1 night of parking is absurd. Police were called due to an extreme domestic disturbance down the hall that continued into the next morning.

For the price this was a great downtown hotel with a great walking distance to the riverwalk, alamo and mall. We didn’t need to use our car to leave once our whole stay! Bed was comfy and I loved the room view.
I did not like how we had to pay 45 dollars a day for valet parking with the hotel. I think parking should be included in the stay. We ended up parking on the side of hotel paying 30 dollars a day. The rooms were small along with bathroom shower but I did not mind it at all. The bathroom door on the other hand there is a gap and doesn’t close or lock so if you like privacy and bigger room space this hotel isn’t for you. Breakfast could be better as well!

Staff was great upon arrival- it is an older building, but kept up nicely. I didn't to the breakfast but my family did- basic continental- coffee in lobby was cold- but not a big deal (I warmed it up in microwave) Place had a small fridge, coffee machine and microwave that I did NOT SEE until it was time to check out- (it was "hidden" in a cabinet) and I thought my brother had gotten the "good room" (his was visible) the whole time! haha-
I thought it was a LOT closer to the Riverwalk (thus, they added it to the name) it's not too far of a walk though- no big complaints- place was clean & in a decent neighborhood-

We love everything about the hotel! Location to everything downtown, history of the beautiful building, beds are very comfortable, parking close by or valet offered.
Ac can be tricky to work, ours wanted to kick into heat everytime it reached 70 and that woke me up alot

The hotel was very nice, room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The young man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome.

I love the location and convenience of the place but, I would think twice for staying again at this place.....
first time we went had a bigger room with a bigger bathroom, this time ask for the same thing, instead we got a smaller room even though we had made reservations since may, that bothered me cause this is what Im trying to avoid. On beds the option of queen beds should be offered at the minimum so people actually can't say they never told us, the comments I made are making me think twice for staying again at this place.....
