Location of the apartment is great. The access and lack of elevator was a bit challenging if you are traveling with a lot of luggage. Other than that, it was very nice.

We stayed here during Vail's so-called "mud season" but it was perfect for our little family! No crowds, sunny weather, and we could easily walk everywhere. We didn't have to get back in the car until we checked out. Only thing, 1 window in the living room is broken and doesn't latch closed. Besides that, we loved this place and would come back again for sure! Also, parking is not included but the city of vail parking structure is free for up to 14 days overnight during the off season!

Great location at a reasonable price for Vail but with the location you also get some significant street noise. The property could use some general maintenance.

Wonderful location in Vail village. Be aware, the unit only has a dorm sized refrigerator and no oven but a small toaster oven is available. Unit was clean and quiet during our stay in March. Spiral staircase to the bedrooms could be an issue for some people. As we were skiing, we were glad to be within walking distance to the gondola and the washer and dryer were used daily.
We were very happy to have one bedroom that had two separate beds. That bedroom lacks a closet and dresser but there are other closets and a dresser in the living room to serve that room and it wasn't a problem for us. It was nice to have two bathrooms with one being on the main floor. We enjoyed our stay.

Gore Creek Condo is in amazing location. Incredibly convenient for parking, town, and walking to the gondola. It was also very kind of them to provide water bottles. The apartment is nice, but the bedrooms are very small. The bedroom with the sole queen bed is a decent size but the second room with two beds barely has space to move around. The twin bed is just a mattress on a floor. With 5 people, it's a tight squeeze, but we left our luggage downstairs and purely used the upstairs to sleep and that worked out for us. We had a broken window upon arrival which made the apartment very cold and had water seeping out of one of the bathroom tubs prior to use. Someone came and addressed the window issue same-day although we were not given a heads up and were kind of startled by this person's arrival. The water issue was not resolved. I give this place 4 starts purely based off of location, but we paid way too much for the value of the home. It is nice, but may have been better off at a hotel for the money we paid.

The unit is on the smaller side, in particular the two bedrooms have no dressers and are extremely tight for use by adults. The pics are accurate but suggest a larger, brighter and newer space. The location in the center of Vail Village close to shops and restaurants is a strong plus. Not sure why the unit is referred to as Gore Creek Condo when the building is labeled Vail Core Condos. The experience was negatively impacted by poor property management: we were provided the wrong gate code; 12+ light bulbs were dead.

CONS
-The place is even smaller than the pics show, especially the room with vaulted ceiling
-TV is not smart tv and is super small.
-Refrigerator is small, one of those under counter 3ft tall ones, so much of the food we brought that needed to be refrigerated did not fit.
-one of Windows in main floor could not be fully closed, lots of noise came in in the early am
-a few Windows missing screens. It’s summer, with no AC, forces to open Windows…so annoying flying bugs get in.
-documented available Summer parking pass was missing.
-If you sleep in, the clock tower rings all day, the 8 and 9am bells woke me up every day, as unit has no AC(typical in Mtns) so u r forced to open Windows. To be fair bells ringing we’re not super long and I am light sleeper.
-Entry hallway to room is beat up and looks outdated.
-you have to go up an outdoor flight of about 20 stairs into entry hallway above the pizza place…Absolutely not wheelchair accessible and bringing in luggage will be a hastle.
PROS
-shout out to Brittany from Vacasa property Mgmnt, she helped me out with the parking pass issue. Very responsive customer service.
-AWESOME location loved to be able to be right there, it’s almost directly across from Solaris.
-pizza joint below had excellent food with reasonable pricing for Vail.
-place inside very clean and overall in good working order but furniture is a bit outdated and shows wear.
-upstairs shower had low pressure, at least compared to what I find in a hotel.
-kitchen recently renovated but super small.
-main floor has no curtains/shutters, so have to accept condos behind property can see your every move.
-Vail parking garage is VERY close, I got parking spot in south east corner and entry into building was 75 yds away. Note, It’s free parking during day, but there is a hefty charge for overnight parking.
-bus stop right across from bldg.
Overall, I would say that for what u get the place is over priced. It reminded me of a high end college dorm, so I would not rent it again. However, if the price was lowered and they got a regular sized refrigerator, I would consider staying there again.

Property was very clean, well stocked and in the perfect location. Disappointed there was no view from main living area. Also, the mattresses and pillows were rough. We were confused with parking situation. Listing stated no parking but pleasantly surprised to find a parking pass inside.

The place was amazing, really pretty finishes and there was a lot of space. The only thing I would say is that the AC did not work and we had fans going, as well as windows open 24/7 because it got so hot during the day you did not want to spend more than 30 minutes there.

Wonderful summer getaway
Everything about the condo was wonderful, clean and easily accessible. Only downside was being right above pizza restaurant so was noisy when we opened the windows.

Not Vaily pleased
I would not have selected this rental if I had known that it was above a pizza place. The spiral staircase should have been made known in advance. Parking is a serious issue.

Great location. Could be so much better.
Seriously wonderful location - right in the heart of Vail village. Easy access, bright and clean...but it could be so much more. Beds and pillows were fine, but more pillows would be great. A small table in first bedroom would be nice. Window in one of the bedrooms had to be propped open...this needs to be fixed as it is so warm upstairs in the summer. Dryer does not work (door is broken). Most importantly - a coffee maker would be a wonderful addition. And a refrigerator (it is a small, efficiency fridge located under the countertop) that works (nothing got cold in it...ever...we really only used it for beer and wine but it needs to actually work). I would recommend this place based solely on the location and the nice bathrooms and openness of the downstairs space. There is no real “view” from this spot - nor is there a balcony. More seating in the den area is recommended. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts. We had a WONDERFUL time and enjoyed our accommodations.
