The property itself was fantastic. We had the opportunity to become familiar with a new, for our family, part of Paris. We feel so grateful that our first visit after COVID was in this neighborhood and this property.

We were happy with our stay at Laurent's place. right near Metro in Republique. Comfortable space. Easy communication. Great restaurant recommendations. We stayed for 3 weeks.

The living room & dining room were bigger than expected . However the towels they left us were old and did not look clean . We had to clean the coffee pot and the washing machine was broken . Luckily there was a laundry & we paid to wash our clothes. There were homeless people living in the entry & drinking vodka . Not what we expected !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely and bright apartment. We were a group of 4 and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable for us all. It is conveniently located a couple of minutes away from the metro and is surrounded by numerous cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and shops. It was also very easy to walk to many of the attractions and neighbourhoods. Laurent and Jim were very quick at responding to any questions we had - thank you Laurent and Jim! We hope to stay here again the next time we visit Paris.

Fantastic 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment within walking distance of all the good things and easy metro access at République. Plenty of space for a family of 4 or two couples. Lots of daytime noise from renovation works in the building in August 2022 but would imagine this will be completed by the end of the year and then this place will be a complete dream. Great host (merci Laurent!) and everything you need for a wonderful Paris sojourn.

We had a fantastic time in this apartment. Once we found it, everything worked perfectly & we appreciated the clear, detailed instruction book. We had everything we needed & 6 of us stayed comfortably together in a relatively compact space. We would definitely return!

The only caution, if you use the Metro entrance closest to the Unit, there is only a machine to buy your Metro ticket. We got scammed by someone pretending to work for the Metro that "helped" us buy tickets and said our credit card would not work to purchase them. We paid in Euros and each bought a two day pass from her which was actually only good for one way to the Eiffel Tower. Go to the Metro stop in the middle of Republique Square if you are not sure how the Metro system works and buy your ticket from an agent at a booth there. I would stay here again when in Paris.

Located in Le Repulique area, extremely close to Metro stations (30 seconds away), grocery store, wine shop, and a number of cafes, this two bedroom, two bath, small-ish apartment fit our needs perfectly. It's in a building that serves tech companies on lower floors and has apartments on the upper floors (as best as we could determine). It was never an issue. We always felt safe. Place was clean (though they did forgot to leave us a sponge, dish towels and napkins - an oversight I'm sure - we managed just fine) and communication was easy. As we found out, it's not easy finding a two bedroom/two bath property. We are fortunate to have found this one.

The apartment is in a very good location- close to the Metro, nice neighborhood restaurants. The owner was very responsive to a problem with the lock. It was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

My Aunt and I stayed in the apartment during a week stay in Paris to visit multiple sites. The apartment is very well located close to Republic Metro Station so easy to move around Paris. It is also walkable to the Louve, Notre Dame, Palais Royale and very good shopping. The market is very close and there are several restaurant choices if you just want to take a quick stroll out for lunch or dinner. The apartment is very well stocked, nice patio, beds were super comfortable and linens were nice. Laurent was very responsive and super helpful if we had questions or needed recommendations. The owner has a great book that explains in detail how to work the television, access internet, several restaurant recommendations, etc. We would definitely stay again!

A quiet apartment tucked into a busy, fun neighborhood. Republique metro close by provides easy transit throughout the city. We got a lot out of our 7 night stay.

We were a group of three Canadian adults staying for ten nights in this beautiful, fully equipped apartment. The two bedrooms, each with ensuites, were lovely. Comfortable foam mattress toppers were on all beds providing a good night’s sleep. As others have mentioned, once you memorize the multiple security codes to enter the building, this property has it all! Fantastic location with the Metro just steps away to explore the whole city of Paris. But you’ll also want to explore this fantastic neighbourhood around the Republique square. Restaurants, boulangeries, grocery stores, historic arches, etc, are all within easy walking distance. We appreciated the dishwasher and washing/drying machine. As well, basic cleaning supplies were provided. Good wifi. Good restaurant and pastry shop suggestions were provided by the host in the guestbook. As the saying goes “You get what you pay for”. Treat yourself, and we hope you enjoy this apartment as much as we did.

I traveled with 2 friends for a week in Paris. Laurent provided excellent communication in advance of the trip and was very quick to respond to a question that arose during the visit. The apartment is very bright and pleasant, and also quiet and dark at night. (I live is a small condo in Philadelphia, and thought it was spacious.) The location is perfect - lots of local places to eat (Republique Coffee was a favorite), easy walk to Canal Saint Martin (I recommend Du Pain et Des Idees and La Cidrerie) and the Marais (we ended up there every day), and just meters away from the Metro. I highly recommend this apartment for a small group.

We had such an amazing time staying here for a six-day family vacation! The apartment is perfect: homey, clean, and plenty of room for 4 people. Check in was very easy, the beds were very comfortable, and we really enjoyed being so close to the metro and within walking distance to so many places. The restaurants and markets around the neighborhood were fantastic. The host’s guidebook gave us so many good suggestions! The kitchen amenities were very useful, and it was nice to have space to keep some breakfast items in the fridge, plus coffee maker and small stove. We also enjoyed being in a quieter neighborhood, and slept soundly! Thank you again for such a great place!

My friend and I, both retired ladies, have been to Paris a few times, so didn’t feel the need to revisit the “must sees”. We wanted a comfortable apartment in a location where we could walk to see neighbourhoods and interesting architecture. We were happy with the apartment, it served us very well. We put our walking shoes on and walked to the Bastille, the Ile’s and Norte Dame, and then across the Seine to Shakespeare and Company, the famous book store, the Tuilleries, Place de Concorde, an L’Opera. The apartment was right on Place de Republique, so there were several Metro lines right there to go further afield. We would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family who might be visiting Paris.

Convenient, super clean, 2 bathrooms, safe

This apartment is a great place to stay while in Paris, especially if you want to be away from the touristy areas and enjoy true Parisian life. The Marais neighborhood was really nice with a lot of great cafes and shops and a very short walk to Canal St. Martin which we really enjoyed. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It's larger than it looked on the website so we had plenty of room for 3 of us. Eric was so helpful when checking in and he showed us how to use everything. We felt very safe at night and the metro entrance is literally a one minute walk from the door of the apartment. We visited Paris during a serious heat wave (over 100 degrees F in Paris all week) so it was a little hot to sleep but this could not be helped and we understand that not many places have AC. We used the fans provided in the apartment and they helped a lot. I have already recommended this apartment to family and friends for future trips to Paris. I would definitely stay in this apartment again. Thanks to Laurent for providing us such a nice place to stay.

We enjoyed being close to the Metro and the area around Place de la République is very vibrant. The Marais is a fun place to visit. As for the apartment we have mixed feelings. On the positive, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Everything worked (especially the fans). It was quiet. We did not use the kitchen so I can’t comment on that. The laundry machine worked well. On the negative, the apartment was scorching hot at night and the fans didn’t help all that much. Paris was very hot during our stay. The apartment also looks much bigger in the photos and we felt cramped for a family of four. The beds are also very small and the bed linen could be better (softer linens and pillow covers please). Finally it is a bit of a hassle to get into and out of as there are a lot of doors and codes (the key fob did not work). The owner was accommodating and there is a great binder of information about restaurants and other shops in the area. Thank you for suggesting Season, as our daughter is Celiac and they had great gluten-free food. We went there three times. I hope this doesn’t come across as too negative as we did enjoy our stay, but there were a number of small “comfort factors” that were missing. It’s unfortunate that it was so hot and I know that Parisian apartments do not have AC as a rule, but in the future I would stay in a hotel with AC if I was to return in the summer. The apartment was just fine and would be especially good if you were to need a kitchen but we didn’t use it so that part was not part of our experience. Merci

We had a great stay while in Paris. The location of property is perfect for getting to the metro....very convenient. Not really close to any of the major attractions but all walkable if you like walking....and we love walking. The apartment was nice and clean. Perfect for a family of 5. We felt safe at all times while in the apartment or while walking in the neighbored.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here, in this clean, spacious and well equipped apartment. Only a few steps away from a Metro station, making it very convenient for exploring Paris,and yet a quiet street, and secure location. And booking and all arrangements handled well.

This is an excellent option very close to a metro stop, shopping, and on a quiet street. The land lord is very service oriented. You can feel that is your own apartment. Is fully prepared for your arrival, also some stuff in the kitchen! Very well located, in the middle of Paris. I would recommend the apartment and is my intention to use it again next time.

This is our third visit to Paris and second in a Paris vacation rental and it was wonderful, nothing could be faulted. The apartment was everything the pictures showed and more. We could not have asked for anything nicer. Everything was close for shopping, the Metro, hop-on bus etc. Many major attractions were within walking distance and we loved it. It was quiet and so very comfortable and wished we could have stayed longer. WiFi, satellite TV, travel guides, washing powder for the washing machine, many small details you won't find in any other rental apartment but which make you feel home! Laurent provided great tips to get around and was so accommodating with our arrival and departure times. Our booking was handled with efficiency and helpfulness and looking forward to returning and staying longer next time. Would highly recommend.

This was the best place we stayed during our trip to Europe. The apartment is in a great location, so close to multiple metro stations and easy walking distance to many of the sights, plus tons of restaurant and cafe options just down the street. Having two bathrooms made such a huge difference for the three of us. Beds are very comfortable. Even though it's in a busy part of the city, the apartment is very quiet. Laurent was wonderful to work with through the entire reservation process. He was very informative and organized. He was also very flexible with our travel plans. Thank you for this memorable stay and the recommendations for local restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed, particularly as they were in easy walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again and wish the rest of our accommodations had been this nice!

Aside from the lack of access to free WIFI, a very pleasant stay! Spacious,well decorated and spotless 2 bedrooms two bathrooms apartment in an interesting neighbourhod in Paris. Within walking distance of some of our favorite sites: Marais, Pompidou Center, Louvre, the Seine River Banks, Canal St Martin, etc. The young lady in charge of maintening the apartment was extremely helpful as was the owner when we lost one of the keys to the apartment. Would definitely enjoy staying there again, and would recommend it to friends and family.
