Our stay at Vilay Marchal’s apartment was excellent. Our hostess was so very helpful throughout our stay. The apt. was spacious, very clean, nice kitchen and bathroom facilities. The elevator worked fine for us three adult ladies and our luggage. The location was advantageous to walking to museums, markets, cafes, etc.... We would recommend this apt. to friends.

Vilay and the apartment are both charming. The apartment is conveniently located to explore Paris. The immediate are has a wonderful patisserie across the street and excellent restaurants a-few steps away from the entrance. We had a wonderful time.

We adored our little Paris apartment during out 3 week stay. The apartment was so unique and comfortable, quiet and warm. Vilay was there to welcome us and tell us all the details, and then we settled in easily. We got to know the delightful neighborhood, shopped at the numerous local open air markets, and cooked almost every meal at our "home". We rarely ate out as we wanted to enjoy every moment in the space. Vilay even brought by little chocolates and Easter treats for my 4 year old! We would stay again and recommend this lovely spot in a heartbeat. Thank you Vilay for everything!

Rather than repeat what other's have said, I will simply say the place was in a perfect location, was clean, lovely, designed like a beautiful boat with lots of teak and well designed spaces. As a family of four we did not feel cramped and were very comfortable. Being able to do laundry was a huge plus. Vilay was very kind and exceedingly helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience.

I highly recommend VRBO and the apartment we stayed at 13 Rue Linne in Paris. Booking was easy and Vilay, the apartment owner, made things easy. Not only that, Vilay went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us be comfortable and find our way around. The apartment was very comfortable, well furnished, and close to the Metro and buses for easy access to the entire city. The Sacre Coeur is a short 15 minute walk. The neighborhood is great and there's a brilliant Algerian restaurant with great food, wine, and service, on the same block. Across the street you can get good coffee and pastries in the morning. I heartily recommend the apartment we stayed at and VRBO. Our family had a fantastic stay.

Vilay was great, Apt awesome, right near the metro. Would recommend to anyone! We had to 2 adults and 4 young teens, plenty of space!

Our family of 5 (parents with 2 teenage boys and a 6 year old girl) loved the apartment. Very convenient location with a Metro stop within half a block, very near natural history museum, easy walk to Ile de la Cite/Notre Dame/Ste Chapelle. Very nice market at Place Monge for fresh food several times/week, several grocery stores nearby. Sleeping arrangements very flexible and worked out fine. Well-stocked kitchen. Owner extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This exceeded my expectations. Vilay kept in touch with me leading up to the start of our stay and met us at the property as promised. The elevator takes you to the fifth floor and though it was small it was plenty for two people or, in our case, one person to ride up with luggage. The neighborhood is a working class neighborhood with great pastries , coffee shops, and restaurants all within a few yards. It quiets down at night which was nice. It was great to have a copy place across the street that easily printed my tickets to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay by me just emailing them to them. The Algerian restaurant next door was perfect. The apartment is quite large with two bedrooms. You can easily sleep 6 between the two double beds and the two smaller fold out beds. My wife and I got a kick out of sleeping on the bed that pulls down from the ceiling. It makes it very easy to get ready in the morning by just pushing it up and getting all that bedroom space. The kitchen is fully stocked, bathroom is large with a large shower/tub, hot water was plentiful, heating system worked perfectly when it got a bit chilly, and Vilay even had extra umbrellas for the rain and power adapters for all our gadgets. As for proximity - we were less that a minute to the Jardin des Plantes, 10 minute walk to Notre Dame, about 15 minute walk to both shopping on Boulevard St-Germain and the main area of the Marais district (starting at Place De Concorde), and our favorite 10 minute walk to Place de la Contrescarpe with its small, intimate bistros and great people watching. Uber took us easily (-15 euros) to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Montmarte, and the Sacre Couer. Have a great time - we hope to return soon.

The apartment is enjoyably quirky which makes it fun. It has all the amenities. What didn't come across in the marketing material is what a fantastic location it is. I typically stay in an apartment on the Seine by Notre Dame. I didn't think you could get better but I was wrong. Rue de Linne is a half block from Jardin du Plantes which offers great opportunities for exercise and attractions. Plus, there are friendly food marts within feet of the apartment entrance. Rue del Linne also offers great restaurants from quick, inexpensive patisseries to small, nice restaurants that offer a dining experience. And I have to mention it is extremely close to the Metro which offers two lines - 7 &10. Our landlord, Vilay, when out of her way to ensure that our stay was memorable. She was always available for questions and advice. She's terrific. I strongly recommend this property.

We stayed here at the end of September, beginning of October 2018 and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. For a family of four, it was a perfect location and space. High atop the 5th floor you have a small yet quaint balcony where you get a great view of the surrounding neighborhoods. Pro’s • Location/Location/Location - You’ll have everything you’ll need just steps from your door. Across the street is an amazing bakery where you can get your breakfast for only a few euros per day. Directly beneath you is an Italian restaurant great for late night Pizza/Pasta. Just down the street is the Metro stop (Jussieu) while up the street is a family Pharmacy. • Plenty of room for a family of four adults - The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and cookware to make any meal you desire. The two bedrooms easily accommodated our Son and Daughter, while the second bedroom was enough for my wife and myself. • High Speed Data Services - The Wi-Fi was enough for the family as we could easily stream Netflix while others were “Facetiming” friends and family. • Washing Machine - Great benefit for the family and a primary reason we booked this location. Having access to a washing machine allowed us to pack a bit lighter since we could do some washing of our clothes. • Property Manager - Vilay was great in assuring us ahead of our arrival that everything would be ready, and she did not disappoint. We had plenty of pre-arrival communications assuring us there would be no issues. Additionally, she did check in throughout the week (via WhatsApp) just to ensure no issues arose. Con’s (really NOT issues, just items that are noteworthy) • As noted above, you’re on the 5th floor and with the great views access to the apartment is about 100 steps from the street level. If you’re not wanting to take the steps access to a very small elevator (single rider) is also available. • No clothing dryer - Not a huge impact here, but the only drying rack was in the bathroom. If you’re planning on spending an extended period here where you’re going to do some washing of clothes, I would look to bring some extra hangers/drying rack along to allow for your clothes to be dried outside the bathroom. I can’t say enough about Vilay and her commitment of ensuring we had everything we need both prior to arriving and during our stay. We had an amazing time and we are already considering returning to Paris and when we do, this will be our home away from home.

My wife Ronnie and I cannot say enough positive things about the apartment. From the time we arrived and were greeted by the owner, Vilay, we felt as though we were staying in a relative's home and not a rental apartment. The apartment is huge, perfect for two couples or for parents with several children. It was so nice to have another bedroom to retire to when my wife woke me up and told me I was snoring. With a bakery across the street, a grocery store less than 50 yards away, multiple cafes close by, and Notre Dame no more than a 15 minute stroll, we felt as though we had won the lottery. Thank you Vilay. We love you and will remember this visit to Paris forever.
