4BR Beachfront Getaway, Beat the Crowds!
About this house rental
Situated in West Beach, this attractive house for R 10,658 per night is a great option for your next trip. If the dates you would like are booked, please check out Vrbo: 663657 - Luna Sea. Luna Sea is a 4BR/2BA home that is decorated in the same classic beach decor as Six Seas. Six Seas is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf Front home sitting directly on West Beach in Gulf Shores. It has all the amenities and conveniences you'd expect for your vacation - granite counter-tops, new flooring throughout, washer/dryer, LCD TV's, DVD, two decks!, porch swing for lazy afternoons, picnic table. Play in the sand and surf all day with the convenience of having your house steps away. Six Seas is located 0.2 miles from the nearest condominium, insuring your stay there to be free of crowded beaches and ongoing beach traffic. It is only 4.0 miles from the 'T'(main beach intersection in Gulf Shores), so it offers the best of both worlds as a private getaway with easy access to all the amenities that the Gulf Coast has to offer. If you enjoy collecting shells, wake up early and head out the door to an amazing assortment of shells unlike anything I have seen on the island. If you like to eat out, Six Seas is a short drive to all of Gulf Shores', Orange Beach's, and Perdido Key's most famous and delicious restaurants. If you are like me and don't care to fight the crowds, chill on the beach all day and walk a few mere feet to one of your two private decks to throw something on the grill. If you like the nightlife, the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast is home to world-famous spots like the Hangout, Lulu's, the Pink Pony, the Flora-Bama and more. Book your stay now and experience a beachfront vacation in Gulf Shores like you never have before.

The house was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. Huge master suite with master balcony that had the most amazing views. We saw countless dolphins every single day. The bottom floor layout was spacious and cozy for our family and kids. We really appreciated the large closets in the 3 main rooms. No need to bring any toys or boogie boards because there were TONS in the storage room downstairs. We even left ours there to add to it. I think our family favorite was how close the house is to the water. We ran back and forth all day long so being that close is now a must for us. Blake was amazing and we are already ready for next year.

Nice spacious home, we had a great time with no issues we would definitely go back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach front home away from the hustle and bustle of town yet only 5-10 minutes from everything.

We had such a lovely week here! It was our favorite beach vacation ever. The house is the perfect size and felt very homey. We were apparently very fortunate that the lady next door was gone, so no issues there.

We had a great stay! A sea turtle nest was located on the beach during our stay about 3 houses down. The eggs were laid on June 5th and have roughly a 55
Day incubation period. Be on the lookout for hatchlings if you are there during that time.

We spent a wonderful week in Six Seas. The property itself was wonderful. The layout of the home was perfect for our group, though it would’ve been nice to have an additional half bath downstairs.
The home was stocked with plenty of bath linens and the room on the floor level was overflowing with beach toys. However, the kitchen could use a little work. It supplies the absolute bare bones when it comes to knives, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
Overall, we had a lovely week. We saw stingray, dolphins, a couple small sharks, tons of crabs, and fish. Oh yeah, and shell hunting was phenomenal! We came home with several intact grapefruit-sized shells.
The only “warning” I would offer is, the neighbor in the blue house is over the top. She screamed profanities at a 13yo child for stepping across the property line on the beachside to retrieve a ball. Days later she “caught” my child on one of her many cameras retrieving his frisbee that was thrown badly and landed 4 feet onto the beach-side of her property. She contacted the police. When the officer arrived we admitted our guilt, he brushed it off and told us she called them constantly with complaints. Then finished by telling us if our frisbee accidentally goes over again, to retrieve it. In short, educate yourself on the local laws/ordinances cause she despises tourists and will be policing you at all times.

This was our second time to stay at this wonderful property. The layout of the house worked perfectly for our 2 families consisting of 9 people. The home contained everything that we needed from cooking, grilling, and even outdoor items for the kids to use at the beach. We will definitely be back for another stay in a few years.

Aside from a first night thunderstorm the entirety of our seven night stay was outstanding. The seclusion of the west beach and gulf access and the views from the house ensured kids and big kids were thoroughly entertained without competition that comes with other beachside towers. Waters are shallow and broad for children of all ages with good sand for castles (and lounging) and plenty of shells for collecting. Highly recommend.

The location of this home is key!! Walking right out the back door (over a hill) to the beach was amazing for us and the kids. My only complaint was that the home could use some cosmetic updates, and I do not recommend staying here if you have anyone that isn’t able to walk up and down a sand dune hill. The walk to the beach is up a hill and down a hill and my mother in law had a difficult time walking it. The entire time we were there the TV’s didn’t work in any of the rooms (which we didn’t report to owner because it wasn’t that important to us) I’m sure if we did they would have quickly fixed it. The owners were great to work with and were quick to respond. There was a abundance of sand toys for the kids which was great! The Karen next door called the cops once which was because she seen our kids on her camera on “her beach”. The cops were nice and very familiar with her. Overall I would stay here again with just ourselves and the kids. I wouldn’t recommend anyone with disabilities or elderly staying due to the haul over the hill to the beach. We really appreciate everything and had a great vacation!

My husband and I stayed here and it was perfect for us. This home has the charm and coziness of an older home but has had some nice updates so it doesn’t feel old. The downstairs was great to spread out and play games or just lay around. In our opinion the location couldn’t be more perfect, far enough away from the public beach areas but also the drive back to town for a restaurant or store was a breeze.

Loved the quiet beach experience and the convenience of having it so handy! And the upstairs bedroom with the deck was my absolute favorite! I opened the door each morning and just enjoyed the view and the sounds, so relaxing!

This house is far enough away from the busy beach area but close enough for quick shopping trips.
We loved the convenience of walking out to the beach and back and being able to leave our things out on the beach while we had lunch or dinner.
The house was the perfect size for our family but we did have to clean the floors and rugs when we got there but with being on the beach sand is expected.
The neighbors house is being renovated so construction was slightly annoying and loud but they didn't start very early or work too late in the day.
It was an amazing experience and we would definitely go back.

We LOVED staying at Six Seas and we were so sad that our time there went by so fast! This home was perfectly stocked with everything we needed and more. Enough space to accommodate three teenagers and gave them the space/privacy they needed too. Easy to find - parking was awesome especially that you could park underneath the house to avoid the heat and the rain.
But let's be honest, the star of this rental was the easy access to beach!! Just a quick stroll over the hill and BAM! the most beautiful uncrowded beach was found. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the things you do when you take a beach vacation. Early morning walks, afternoon frolics in the surf, evening walks searching for ghost crabs and other wildlife. There was a closet full of items left over from other guests that our three raided and used every time they headed out. The outdoor shower was so nice to wash all the sand off before heading inside. When we didn't have enough time to run to the beach, we made lots of use of the porch and all the seating. Even watched a sunset or two.
We had a wonderful time and plan on returning as soon as we can. We will certainly say it felt like home.

This was our second consecutive year at Six Seas and the property did not disappoint. The location is perfect, uncrowded beach, well stocked and decorated house, and we all had a great time. Highly recommend this property!

House was great for our 7 adult, 1 toddler family. Living room was spacious for all of us to sit. Kitchen was a little tight. The staircase is spiral and steep, but thankful there was a sturdy handrail. Access to ocean was wonderful.

My family and I recently stayed at the Six Seas property and had a wonderful time. The short walk over the dune opens to a beautiful section of the gulf that is perfect for children and family members of all ages. There is a large section of soft, white sand before reaching the high-tide line that gives the option for lounging/playing even when the surf is too choppy for young children.
The property is just a few short miles from the center of Gulf Shores, but far enough out to avoid any crowds. There were many mornings/evenings that we had what seemed like the entire beach to ourselves. We saw dolphins, stingrays, a variety of fish, and many crabs.
The home was well-stocked with any kitchen utensil and appliance that one could reasonably need during a vacation. The washer/dryer was a great option to keep us from having to over-pack. There was a full selection of beach toys left from previous visitors, so if you don't want to pack or purchase buckets and other sandcastle items, you will have plenty to choose from.
Prior to our stay, I read the reviews concerning the neighbor to the west. However, I was confident enough in my family to know they would follow the rules and regulations of the beach, such as staying away from the protective dunes, and avoiding the property line (which is clearly marked by the neighbor). We stayed seven nights at Six Seas, and I saw the neighbor two times in that span of time. I personally had no issue or interaction with the neighbor.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my sister-in-law and her husband and children. They were in the water and playing within the boundary of the high-tide line when the neighbor approached the beach yelling obscenities at them. The neighbor claimed they were “ruining her view” and that they were “on her beach.” She called my in-laws multiple curse words, including the 9, 5, and 3-year-old children that were swimming in the water at the time. My entire group did everything possible to avoid the neighbor’s wrath, but she still found it necessary to cuss a family that was simply enjoying the gulf. The laws in that area state property owners own to the "mean high-tide line." It seems the neighbor is simply ignorant of where that line is established, or she is too entitled to accept the public nature of the high-tide line. She also seems unable to approach simple interactions in a reasonable and civil manner. It didn't ruin our vacation, but it put a blemish on the final beach outing.

We had a group of nine total, 6 adults 3 kids 9,4,2. Although the pictures make it seem that there is a boardwalk to the water from the house there is not, that is the neighbors. It's just a short walk in the sand over a small hill. The western neighbor is very protective of the sand dunes behind her house, she has cameras pointing at them and came out and took pictures of us on the beach, we waved at her. We were no where near the dunes we stayed down towards the water. Other than that everything was wonderful. We noticed on the first day the microwave was not working we message the property manager and they said they were on it. It was fixed the next day by the time we got back from lunch. Short drive to restaurants and the grocery store. We spend most days laying out and in the water.

This is was a great place to stay at for spring break. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and loved the fact that this house was a little bit away from the Main Street area so we could further enjoy the nice weather and quite atmosphere.
The house was in great condition, and in an ideal location to hunt for ghost crabs at the end of each night.
Thanks!

We enjoyed walking on the beach and seeing dolphins. Outdoor seating on all 3 levels was nice too.We went bike riding on West Beach Blvd. and the Gulf State Park daily. The indoor storage area was very handy for bike storage. The location was far enough from town that we avoided spring break crowds. We loved the refrigerator with the filtered water. It was perfect for us!

Beautiful beach, great location
House was as advertised. Great beach, away from crowds, but close enough to town, beach chairs and toys in storage area.....only complaint is the neighbor to the west( who i had read about from past reviews) yelled at my wife for retrieving our boogie board from " our dune" and then would come place beach chairs on the beach ( while we were in middle of soccer game with kids) and not sit in or even be home for entire day....just did not want anyone near " her beach"......warned us she had numerous cameras and I basically ended our interactions by telling her to feel free to watch us ...
