We were looking for a location for 5 women where we could each have our own bed and space to relax after long days of touring Paris. The included pick up at the airport was an added plus for us so we didn't have to deal with figuring out how to get to the apartment after a long flight. The communication with our host was excellent throughout the process. She was able and willing to book our return transportation to the airport for an extra fee as well. The location was great - right next to the metro stop and groceries. Highly recommend!

Our family of three teenagers, their parents and grandmother thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this classic Parisian apartment dating from the 1800's. The original flooring, crown moldings, tall windows and street view added to the experience. The neighborhood has many restaurants, shops and boulangeries to try. The Metro, being just steps away from the front door, made getting around easy. The transfer from the airport was greatly appreciated. Cathy was quick to respond to any questions we had.

This is a marvelous place to stay. Full of both history and modern conveniences. Perfect situated in Le Marais and right between two metro stations.
Our host Cathy was wonderfully receptive and helpful. She responded quickly to the few questions we had.
One gets a real sense of Paris new and old by staying here.

Our family of six adults stayed at Archives over the Christmas holiday week and couldn't have been happier - it's location just steps away from the metro and the Marias made everything so easy, and I especially appreciated the large common area where we could hang out together after a day of exploring - the kitchen has everything needed and the beds were so comfortable. All in all, a lovely place to spend a week in Paris!

We stayed at Archives just before Christmas and had an amazing time. We travelled with 3 adults children and a moody teenager; the apartment was perfect. The lounge is spacious for everyone to be around and not be crowded. The kitchen has everything you need. We loved the quirky furnishing, the Togo lounge was a hit! As far as location you can’t false it. The metro is just at your door and then it’s a piece of cake to go around. Many restaurant are walking distance. And if your guys need a hair cut, go to see the Big Moustache across the road. Would love to return.

We had a great time at this apartment. Huge space, close to metro and walkable to many places. We were picked up at airport and got immediate access to apartment. Would stay here again. Thanks Cathy and Sophie.

The neighborhood isn't the best. Busy street with a lot of noise. You can hear the street noise in the living room of the apartment and the front bedroom. The furniture is dated. The couch has holes in it. The chairs are very low to the ground and very uncomfortable. The dining room table chairs are uncomfortable and noisy. The apartment is good size but very loud squeaky floors when walking on them. One bedroom door knob doesn't work properly so my daughter locked herself in her room. The pots and pans don't have any lids. The telephone did not work. The apartment is overpriced. I do not recommend.

First off I want to say that this property is technically in Le Marais but it really does not have Le Marais feel. It is a good 15-20 minute walk to be in the heart of Le Marais. The street is super busy, noisy and ugly. Yes the Metro is across the street, yes the apartment is huge but I do not think the price suit this property. It is way overpriced!! The furniture in the salon is falling apart, the couch has holes and stains and there is nowhere to sit comfortably at all. The room off the salon is so dark and eerie nobody wanted to sleep in there. The kitchen table is so old and looks like its from the 50’s. Also, the whole apartment is really creepy. All night we would hear clicking noises. There is doorways and cupboards that are locked and it gave a really uncomfortable feeling for everyone. I had to email several times just to get the directions on how to get in. Our train arrived at 2:00 and I just got the entry info at noon. It was unsettling going to a foreign country still not knowing if your apartment will be ready. We have stayed in 8 apartments in Paris and this is by far the worst and we payed the most. Everything said here is the absolute truth! We were all so disappointed the moment we walked in until the moment we checked out.

the greatest and most considerate check-in instructions I've ever seen; it likely contains all the necessary information for any traveler. The apartment is quite convenient, in a quiet yet desirable neighborhood, and the Metro is just downstairs. There are also a ton of charming restaurants, cozy cafes, and interesting boutiques around. All eight members of our family thoroughly enjoyed their time there.

We had an excellent time staying at this apartment in Paris. It had everything we could have asked for. Very spacious, with all of the amenities. The host was very responsive to any and all questions we had. Safe part of town where we never felt uncomfortable walking around at any time of day. The cutest part was that the doors and windows matched the ones we saw at Versailles! Very unique and authentic Parisian home. Would highly recommend.

We had the most perfect stay at the lovely Archives. The apartment is as described and more spacious than we expected. Plenty of room for 10 people and a very unique space.
Even though it was 41 degrees when we were there, the portable air conditioners and fans helped move air well and keep us comfortable. In the evening there is nice breeze when you open the windows. The building is quiet and the location to transit is excellent. We loved wandering in Le Marais and shopping/eating our way around. There was a very helpful information booklet on our arrival and checking in and out was easy. The airport/train pick up service was easy and very appreciated. We would love to return to this spot again! Thank you Sophie!

2 families visiting Paris from nyc for the first time had a fantastic stay at the apt. It is so close to everything that you will need. Metro, shops, restaurants and the le Marais neighbourhood is beautiful for wondering around. I would stay here again for sure and would highly recommend.

Our family of nine (two adults and seven kids ages 10-16) stayed in this lovely apartment for four nights/five days. Before we arrived, we received a packet of information that was very helpful in answering questions. When we arrived, we were met at the train station by a driver and taken to the apartment. A nice touch! Upon entering the apartment, we were pleasantly surprised at how much bigger it is than the pictures show online. It is a vintage charming gem, with updated baths and tastefully decorated. All the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Large windows overlook the boulevard (can be noisy with windows open but its the city!) The kitchen was fully stocked, including pods for the Nescafe machine. Wifi worked well. There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Our weather was in the 70s so the lack of air conditioning wasnt an issue. The building and apartment are very secure. The neighborhood is more local than touristy with plenty of good restaurants and cafes. A metro stop is located just down the street from the apartment and a great wine shop a block away. It is clear the owners take pride in their property and their guests. They checked in several times over the course of our stay to see if we needed anything. If I had one criticism, it would be that the beautiful vintage wood floors creak but that is to be expected in my opinion. We would highly recommend this unit to our friends and others looking for a great place to stay.

The apartment is located close to everything! Across the street and down one block is the best bakery, right next door is a great wine shop, two blocks away is the Place de Vosges with a world class park, art shops, and restaurants, including L’ambrosia. Do not miss the gelato at Amarino’s on the way home from the park. Great shopping for French brands in walking distance from the apartment. The management was very helpful. Subway is one block away.
