Your destination for a fun filled family vacation is our 4th row SEA PINES home which has been remodeled to accommodate our large family. The pool is 17 feet by 28 feet, can be heated for additional fee and has deck space for many chairs. The home is an easy 3-4 minute walk down a private path, passed 3 houses, to the best Hilton Head Island beach. The 5 bedroom, 3 bath home offers comfortable furnishings and amenities for your enjoyment and a successful vacation. The two separate living levels provide lots of space. Three separate bedroom areas offer privacy for extended family members. The high-speed wireless internet service will keep you connected (if you really want to be) and the TV's are cable and/or Roku connected. The upper level offers a comfortable living/dining room area and adjourning updated kitchen. The large 47 inch flat screen HD TV/DVD/VCR can be enjoyed from the large sectional sofa and comfortable chairs. The dining table comfortably seats 6-8 people. A game table, which is close by, can seat 4-6 people. The kitchen has lots of counter space, offers all standard appliances including a microwave and the equipment necessary for convenient cooking. As well as large pots for crab or shrimp boiling and two crock pots. There is carpet in the living room and both the dining and kitchen areas have ceramic stone flooring. To the right of the living area is the main bedroom (#1) offering two queen beds and adjoining bath with tub/shower. It is equipped with TV/DVD/Roku. To the left of the living area is the hallway to two bedrooms and a newly remodeled bathroom with a tub/shower and granite counters. Bedroom (#2) offers two queen beds, TV/DVD/Roku. The third bedroom (#3) offers a queen bed and a twin trundle bed and TV/DVD/Roku. All upper level bedrooms have hardwood floors. All of the updated lower level has ceramic tile flooring and features a separate gathering area. This recreation room opens to the pool in front and to the fenced court yard in the back. It provides space for relaxing and playing games. The sofa opens to a queen pull-out bed. The kitchenette has a wet bar, a microwave, coffee maker, large sink, fridge, and granite counters. This area has a large capacity washer and dryer. Off the kitchenette is a bathroom with a walk-in ceramic tile shower. Bedroom (#4) offers a twin/double bunk and a twin/twin bunk, two closets and TV/DVD/Roku. Bedroom (#5) offers a queen bed and a twin/twin bunk bed, two closets and TV/DVD/Roku. Outdoor facilities include a large 17’ X 28' pool with plenty of lounge chairs. There are two outdoor showers. One is easily accessible for rinsing off sand from the beach before entering the pool or house. The other is enclosed within the fenced courtyard. There is a large upper level screened porch overlooking the pool with has plenty of covered seating. The upper level back deck is open and has a gas grill. There is covered parking for one car and space for several other cars on the semicircular driveway. On-street parking is not allowed. June, July and August - Rental is Saturday (4 PM) to Saturday (10 AM) Other months - The rental dates have flexibility, with a 4 day minimum. Sea Pines requires a car pass, weekly $20.00 per car or daily $9.00 per car, not included with the house rental. Passes are purchased directly from the gate attendant. Riding Tigers Bike Rentals offers discounted pricing on bike rentals for our guests. Simply call them and ask for the discount for guests of 9 Oyster Catcher. The house was as described. The furnishings in the kitchen were ample. The neighborhood and access to the beach couldn’t have been better! One suggestion: get a working ice maker.

The home had a layout that worked for our 3 families. Eating nearly all meals in, the kitchen was well-stocked and organized. Beds comfortable and a huge screened in porch to escape to. With 5 grandchildren and a very hot week, the pool became a gathering place.

We had 15 staying in the house, 8 adults and 7 children. it has two living spaces and a well stocked kitchen. We had to be creative to get 15 of us at the table together but there are plenty of chairs and some additional tables. We enjoyed the screened porch and pool area. Easy walk to the beach. There are boogie boards, chairs, and a cart on the back patio. There are two outside showers which were great. Really nice to have two fridges with such a large family gathering. Overall, it served us well and we enjoyed out stay. We would be open to staying there again in the future.

I’d give this house a 4.5/5. The house itself is a little tired, but suited our needs. We let the owners know that the cleaners did clean one of the bathroom floors and we found some dirty towels from previous occupants. The stay would have been really without flaw had the pool heat been turned on 24 hours before our arrival. There was some difficulty in communication with the owners and when we finally got the pool heat turned on we were really only able to enjoy the pool for 1 day (we have really little kids that couldn’t tolerate a cold pool), but when the pool was properly heated it was AMAZING. We had the best time with the proximity to the beach and the warm pool. We would happily stay there again, but only with a heated pool that time of year (we stayed in May) (and I’d take steps to make sure it actually happens before arrival since it took 24 hours for the pool to get warm enough).

Great location for the beach which has very limited people in this area. The pool was great and secluded. The house is well set up for 2-3 separate families to stay here. If it's available we will be back.

Wonderful place!! We have been coming to HHI for years. We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our extended family of 10. The location is great and we loved the heated pool. My 3 and 5 year-old grandkids spent hours in it. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dishes and every appliance we needed. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. We will definitely choose this house again for our next trip!

We enjoyed our time. Plenty of beds. Quick walk to the beach that was not crowded. We paid for the life guard people to put out umbrellas and chairs for the week, so those were waiting for us each day. Nice pool. Plenty of parking for several vehicles. Very nice screened in porch that we enjoyed all week. Had a great visit.

Everything was as described. My family enjoyed the privacy of the pool. Staying in Sea Pines we felt very safe. Also, we enjoyed the area of beach not being packed.

We have vacationed at HHI for the last 20+ years. This was our first time staying at this property and we were extremely satisfied! This was the perfect house for our large, extended family as there were several different areas of the house which could be used by a specific family. In fact, this is the first time we've had beds to spare! There were a few issues with cleanliness upon arrival (not the fault of the homeowners, but rather speaks to the oversight of the cleaning agency) which were promptly addressed by the homeowners. The owners were very responsive both prior to our stay and during our stay. This was probably the best stocked kitchen we've ever had on HHI (abundance of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc.). There were plenty of towels, washcloths, and bedding. It was an easy check-in/check-out process (probably our easiest yet). The pool was adequate for our needs and does stay shaded for part of the day (you will need to use the supplied net to remove pine needles/pine cones, leaves several times throughout the day). The walk to the beautiful (and not overcrowded) beach was easy and under 5 minutes (with kids!). The supplied beach cart/chairs were an added touch. We have already talked about planning our trip back to this same house next year!

There was a miscommunication and this property was not clean when we arrived. Carol and the property manager immediately took care of the situation and compensated us for the error. The location was great! The house is a little dated but there is plenty of room and beds and all the kitchen supplies you need for cooking. I would stay here again.

Plenty of beds, lots of space to spread out, kitchen had everything you need, the heated pool was a big hit, and just a short walk to the beach. Owners very responsive to questions. All agreed we would come back. Drawback is the steep steps, but you know that from the pictures.

We had a great Thanksgiving at this lovely home. We have 16 family members and had plenty of room for all to sleep and visit. The owner was very attentive and addressed any questions or problems. It was a very short walk to the beach and in an excellent location. The pool would be great for a summer visit. The house has a good layout for a large group. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would certainly consider renting again.

I stayed at this home with 13 other people ranging in ages from 1-56. This home is so spacious and cozy. I could not rave enough about how wonderful everyone single one of us found our stay to be. Very short walk to the beach, 6 minute drive to Coligny plaza, 9 minute drive to Harbor Town, short drive to anywhere on the island. The section of the beach we walked out to had very few people. We watched the sunrise every morning and saw starfish, dolphins, hermit crabs, a stingray, jelly fish, a bald eagle, horse shoe crabs, osprey, a baby shark, and more. We love animals and it was incredible to see so many different kinds! A vast majority of our group had never seen the ocean before and it was the perfect place to be their first time. The pool was very large with more than enough chairs around it to accommodate everyone. Two outdoor showers made cleaning up after the beach easy as can be. We had other family that stayed at a nearby condo and they ended up hanging with us at this home most of the daytime bringing our total count to 17 people in the house during the day. Not once did we feel crowded or like there wasn’t enough room. The owners of this home were ridiculously accommodating and truly care about the experience their guests have at their home. We had very few issues that aren’t even worth noting however the owners treated these as if they were top priority and immediate steps were taken to solve the minuscule inconvenience we had. I only bring up the small problem to make sure to point out how helpful and wonderful Carol was. Not one of us were left disappointed and we plan to rent this home as our large families vacation home for many many years to come. Love love love this place!

Multiple generation group in Hilton Head for a wedding. The house is larger than it looks. Bedroom layout is spread out with 2 downstairs with a small living area/ kitchen then upstairs another 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Well equipped kitchen with every appliance we could need...waffle iron, multiple crockpots, nice calphalon pan selection, plenty of dishes/ cutlery for a large group. Seats at tables 12 inside plus 4 to 6 on the porch. Not crowded at all. We had friends over for dinner and comfortably hung out with 16 people. Location is perfect. You can hear the ocean from the porch. Path in the backyard gets you to the beach in less than 5minutes. Well equipped with beach chairs, cart etc. Bike trail a block away that goes all around sea pines.We rented bikes and had them delivered to the house. Used them all week, very convenient. Visited in December and chose not to pay for pool heat, but in warmer months it would be a great area to hang out as well.Excellent service as well. We ran out of propane and after a quick phone call the delivery guy was there within the hour to replace it. Cant wait to visit again!

Everything about this property was accurately described. Perfect for families! Very homey/comfy feel to it. Plenty of bed space and bath towels. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything from apple slicers and Tupperware for leftovers to crockpots and a perfect Bundt pan as well as all expected appliances. Gracious plenty room to spread out in living room, downstairs area and porches. Would love to return and stay even longer.

We were a group of 10 who rented this large home 4 houses back from the beach for an October Getaway.We were very pleased and would re-rent without hesitation!The description is correct and there was plenty of space indoors and outdoors to socialize and socially distance.Outstanding: SCREEN-PORCH; # of towels; choice of beds in the 5 BR’s; temperature control; breadth of dishes/glasses/cookware/food storage; beach chairs and cart to haul them to beach; tons of board games; LOCATION!!! (An extremely short walk on a beach path to a wide-open soft white-sand covered beach); great response from owners and they went above and beyond with flexibility!Suggestions for others renting: Bring salt, pepper, sugar, spices etc. (we forgot these on our lists). The house has starter amts of dishwashing soap and laundry pods (enough for our 4 day stay but not enough for a week). Other things to note: This home is large and we loved it, but it is not a LUXURY home (and it is priced fairly)— The pool was completely shaded (and so leaves on surface and pavement) and adequate but not special; there were a few inconsequentially broken things (soap dish in one BR; TP holder in another).THANK-YOU Carol and Doug for sharing your home with us!

The home was very well equipped and spacious. The pictures on the website do not do the property justice it is even better in person. The pool is are is very large and there is plenty of seating. We had everything we needed. We were a three minute easy walk to the beach. And there are two outdoor showers. We would definitely rent here again.
