The cabin was in a great location got to c a black bear the first hour we were there. Didn't wanna leave. Hopefully can come back soon. Thanks again.

I have rented multiple cabins over the years in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. This is by far my favorite. It's a short drive to downtown, (walking distance if you are able to walk hills), great location, very clean, many extras including great back yard for kids to play. I also can't say enough about the property owners. Very informative and almost immediate responses when I had questions. Highly recommend this cabin!

We were a group of 7 women and had a great time at Nature's Retreat. We loved the proximity to town, though it is not easily walkable due to the steep hill, so keep that in mind. Overall we really liked that it still maintained a secluded cabin feel while being super close to town. We wanted to feel like we were in a cabin in the mountains, but also have easy access to town and be able to safely get home at night and this fit the bill. We enjoyed the hot tub (bring your own towels for that) and even used the fireplace in the late evenings. The hot tub area doesn't have lighting so just be careful if you're using it after dark. It's a great way to relax after spending the day doing activities. The kitchen was well equipped and we made breakfast each morning before heading out for the day. The house is a little dark, which is to be expected tucked into the trees, but could use a little more lighting. It made it a little hard getting ready to do makeup or just check yourself in the mirror. We enjoyed the strip, going out at night, whitewater rafting, and all the tacky tourist things Gatlinburg has to offer! Overall we had a great stay at would definitely rent this property again.

Cabin was beautiful and comfortable. Our only conceerns were: a) did not receive access key code as promptly as I was hoping and b) no condiments in fridge. The second may be understandable because all food has to be disposed of when leaving and ypou don't want things spoiling but it makes late check-ins a little inconvenient when trying to rustle up somethingto eat. Otherwise, the cabin and surroundings were outstanding. Location was great even if walk back up to the cabin from trolley stop is a bit steep. From grandparents to parents to kids (ages 4 & 6), we had a blast. Hot tub was lovely at the end of a long day.

After sharing the roads and sidewalks on the 4th July week, this cabin was truly a retreat!!! Quiet, secluded, perfect size for 5. We found everything very comfortable, clean, kitchen well stocked for cooking and the porch was perfect for morning coffee and relaxing evenings. Location, right or left coming out at stoplight 2, even with holiday crowds, we had no troubles. Being "in town"......it is a hideaway gem!! Absolutely would book again.

This cabin was excellent for our family's vacation. The cabin was clean, welcoming and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. The location was convenient for a quick walk into town for restaurant options and attractions.

Very well situated and location is acceptable. Mattresses weren’t great but not terrible. Extremely clean and and well appointed. Would highly recommend.

Very nice 3BR/3BA cabin. Great for a family. Clean and well appointed. Nice neighborhood. We felt very safe, and were extremely close to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cabin, fully stocked, gas fireplace that made house warm within minutes.A bit of a workout walking to town.Great porch with rockers and swing we used for hours every day.House needed some cleaning on arrival but was communicated to contact person, every thing else was great. Thanks so much.

The location is perfect. The house is perfect. Close to Parkway, easy to get to, everything you could need inside/outside and more. I am glad I picked this property. If I had to give any tiny little suggestions, it would be some cute rope lights or fairy lights for the hot tub. As well as better lighting on the side deck. The one light gave us light, but not enough to really see anything we were doing at the table. A set of hot tub towels would be nice, maybe a different color than the shower towels. A bin in the living room to store them maybe. (We brought hot tub towels) My husband and I stayed in the king size room on the main floor. A small table on the other side of the bed would have helped to hold my phone and a water bottle. I also wish there would have been a couple of shelves on the bathroom wall by the sink to hold my toiletries. Nothing major, just some little things that would have helped me a tad bit more. With the hot tub too, it did get a little cloudy after the first night. We looked for additional tablets for it and didn't find any. Maybe a few of those kept in the closet. Nitpicking again, a few extra laundry supplies and better way to get to the brooms. We were left 3 pods for 6 people staying 3 nights. I used those up between doing hot tub towels and 1 load of laundry myself, no one else would have been able to. In the kitchen I wish the organization was better. Dishes thrown anywhere, having to look multiple times for items. Love this cabin

Our stay was amazing! Clean, comfortable, roomy, nicely decorated and cozy. Very peaceful feel with great access to town.

Very nice cabin in a location close to downtown Gatlinburg. Good for families or three couples. The cabin has a beautiful kitchen with everything you would need. The only thing I would suggest would maybe be new furniture. I’m sure furniture gets worn with time after so many people visit. Overall a relaxing experience.

Great location, clean, plenty of room for 6 adults

The cabin was great. I will say it is over half a mile walking to the 'strip' and because I read the other comments, we were prepared for the hill too. Parking was great at the cabin. The hot tub was perfect. The decor was perfect. The pool table leans to the right, but we adjusted!

Very nice well mantained property

The cabin was ready on time and there was good communication regarding entry. It was clean and fit our needs perfectly. The added bonus was that it was decorated for Christmas. The only suggestion I have is the big chair in the living room needs to either be replaced or have stuffing added. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Cabin was awesome everything was as described. Beds comfortable kitchen well equipped and plenty area for parking. Glose to downtown. Only complaint is trying to turn onto the main road. A traffic signal would be better than inching out hoping someone will be nice and let you out. And 10 am check out is kinda early most hotels are 11 to noon check out so i booked an extra day so we could get up eat breakfast and take our time packing. An extra hour would of been perfect. Otherwise cabin is perfect.

The property was perfect for our little group of three couples. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. Very neat and clean. It was close to Gatlinburg, we could have walked but chose to drive. We would definitely come back to the same place in the future.

We visited the aquarium, Dollywood and theTitanic museum. Tried to ride to the top and failed due to an accident in front of us. The grand kids had a blast. Thanks for accepting us in your house.

This log home is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are all spacious and well furnished. The kitchen is well equipped for having meals in as well as for bringing back leftovers. The hot tub is fabulous! Note: there are no beach towels available but you could use the bath towels and launder as needed. Unfortunately, the cleaning of the space did not include outside. We had to knock down quite a few spider webs to use the porch, hot tub gazebo and even the stairs to enter the home upon our arrival. We got to see bears in the neighborhood on three separate days of our stay. A yearling came through the yard while we were checking out the table on the back porch our first day! The owner was very responsive and kind in her responses. This proved to be a great place to stay. The listing does claim the log cabin is "within footsteps to the parkway" and "You will be able to walk to the area attractions, restaurants and shopping on the parkway." The property is located off the parkway back in a secluded neighborhood. The drive to it includes a steep hill...while walking to the parkway would not be too much of a problem, walking back with any purchases would prove to be more difficult. I would say the hill is close to as steep as the hike to Clingmans Dome. Yes, it can be done. But it's not going to be easy. "Natures Retreat" is a comfortable, spacious and beautiful place to stay. I'm thankful we found it!

Renting the property was a easy process.

6 adults and a 1year old stayed at natures retreat, we had plenty of room and had the best time exploring Gatlinburg, i’d say with older parents it’s a drive up to the cabin rather than a walk to downtown, myself and husband walked up the hill no problem but my 70 year old parents couldn’t do it and they are fit, can’t wait to come back and visit again in the near future!
