Great 2 bed 2 bath apartment north of the Duomo in Florence!
Chiara is a gracious and thoughtful host and patiently walked us through all the aspects of the apartment once we arrived. She even had milk, water, and a few treats purchased for us which was so appreciated given our late arrival. The building neighbours are also friendly and we felt very safe. Quite a few restaurants nearby and we walked everywhere in Florence easily. I highly recommend booking this apartment!

We were 4 adults in Florence for 6 nights. Chiara let us into the apartment and provided a good overview regarding the operation of various appliances. There was some milk in the fridge and some seasonings in the cupboard as well as coffee, sugar, and some plum cakes on the counter. The apartment is in a great location. There are supermarkets and many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The Duoma and Mercato Centrale are each about a 10 minute walk away. Galleria dell’Accademia is half a block away. Chiara is a wonderful host. She responds promptly to any queries and was very helpful in recommending restaurants and trying to arrange a taxi. The stairs to the second floor bedroom are quite steep and can be difficult to manoeuvre with baggage but once there, the space is lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our apartment stay in Florence. A great location. We felt like locals😁. Our host lived across the hall so very convenient if we had any questions or concerns. The elevator to the third floor was a BIG plus. Great to have AC and laundry facilities! Thanks Chiarra for hosting us.

The stairs to the master were a bit tight but over all it was a nice place and the owner was very nice.

This is the perfect base for exploring Florence and getting a taste of what it’s like to live there as a local. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, and extremely well equipped. The elevator made getting luggage upstairs easy, and we appreciated how easy Chiara made it to settle in. It was hot during our visit, and having mini-split AC units in the main spaces meant we could cool down after exploring. It’s perfect for a family of four, and I expect that we will stay again on our next trip. Thanks, Chiara! We loved staying at your place!

This location was exactly as advertised and was so cute! The location is perfect and central to so many things including the train station. Chiara was amazing and very responsive to all of my communications. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Firenze (Florence)!

Chiara was very kind and went out of her way to greet us as our flights were canceled and new flights were very late.
Everything one needs in apartment is supplied.

This place was perfect for our family of five. It’s right next to the academia. Perfect location to see everything.

The location was great, it is right around the corner from the Academia, and down the block from the Duomo. There is a supermarket close by.

Steps from the galleria Accademia and a five minute walk from the historic district of Florence. The appartment was clean and spacious. Perfect for a family of four visiting the sights of Florence.

We really enjoyed staying in Chiara's apartment! Excellent location! Elevator is a great asset for those with hip or leg problems. Great communication with host.
Stairs to upper bedroom could be a problem for large people.
Only thing missing is an inside drying rack.

My wife and I stayed here 3 weeks and were visited by friends for several days. The location is close to many of the Florence tourist attractions and lots of places to buy groceries or to eat out. The apartment is well furnished and comfortab!e for 4 adults. The apartment is on the third floor; there is a lift but only large enough for 2 friendly people without packages or one person with a suitcase, so moving in or out takes some time. The apartment is on two levels; only the bottom level is reached by the lift. There is a large and charming bedroom with full bath on the second level which is accessed only by a very narrow circular staircase. If you have isssues with small stairs this might not be the best place for you, although we loved it.
We would be happy to stay here again.

The owner is very helpful and quick to respond. The location is a short walk to the Duomo, the museums, the bridges, everything!
The elevator works perfectly. The apartment is well appointed. It is, indeed, larger than it looks in the pictures. We were one couple, but it would be fine for most groups of 4. We had a lovely time.

The apartment is in great location, near a supermarket, quiet, clean, good WiFi, A/C, complete appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc.).
Chiara is very nice landlady, she explained everything about the apartment before she left. Attention to details such as different types of coffees, washing up liquid, laundry powder etc. are provided (so we don't have to buy anything, everything we need is available in the apartment). She also left some information's and instructions regarding the apartment. She even provided cakes, juice & milk on the first day.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor and so the lift (elevator) was very helpful after a long day.
Only minor negative comments: 1) No curtain in the bathroom (we just not use to it) and so we used the master bedroom (loft) shower room instead. 2) Air conditions in the bedrooms slightly weak (especially in the master bedroom - loft). It was the hottest week which didn't help.
Overall we had a great relaxing stay in the apartment and very happy to recommend this apartment to anyone.

Dream location near Duomo
My siblings and I had a wonderful vacation in Florence and loved the apartment. The location is a perfect spot - neighborhood feel right off the Duomo. Wonderful restaurants in walking distance, and quiet.
The apartment for the three of us was perfect. All rooms had air conditioning units and two full baths. For coffee lovers, it was nice to have fresh coffee in the apartment for us. All appliances were in working order and plentiful.
Chiara and her family were wonderful hosts. They communicated with me whenever I had any questions within hours, if not minutes. I very much appreciated the concern they showed us about liking our stay in their apartment. I can definitely see myself going back to Florence and renting the apartment for a longer period. For wifi lovers, no worries at all. The wifi worked like a charm the entire stay.
I would highly recommend the apartment! With the elevator going to the 4th floor there was. I concern with the stairs. The building has a lot of old time charm.
Thank you Chiara and family for a memorable experience.

Chiara’s apartment in Florence is just fantastic. Located a block away from the Accademia and 2 blocks from the Duomo, it is a quiet place to rest and enjoy Firenze. We stayed with two toddlers for almost 10’days and were pleased either location and the amenities in the apartment. Any issue we had (hot water trouble) were quickly resolved by Chiara and her husband who live just next door. The house is larger than it looks with 2 bedrooms, one up and one down. While we did not have any issues with the stairs, note that the second bedroom is accessed through circular winding stairs that could be problematic to some. The apartment was close to all the main sites in Florence, as well as Mercato Centrale where we enjoyed the many food options. Absolutely recommend staying here for the price/ proximity!

Best location in town
We stayed at Chiara’s apartment for 5 days and immensely enjoyed our experience. The best part was walking two blocks away from Duomo with all the noise and business of the Florentine streets and entering an absolute calm and tranquility of the apartment, where besides the church bells you can’t hear a thing. Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment, great comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen where we cooked a few meals. Chiara is a caring and kind host, we were grateful for being able to enjoy her hospitality and will love to visit again.

We really enjoyed our 8-day stay at this property. You could not ask for a better location! Close to everything!
Almost next door to the Accademia, steps from the Duomo, the centre core, Piazza di San Lorenzo, San Croce and many great restaurants. (you have to try Robiglio, practically just next door, - see review).
It is also a reasonable walking distance to the SMN train station, from where we took many day trips.
Several grocery stores were nearby and the host left a Conad discount card for our use.
The apartment itself was spacious and well-appointed. While the upstairs bedroom requires a climb up a narrow, winding staircase, we had no difficulty in managing the steps.
As mentioned in the listing, the apartment is on the third floor and is also serviced by a small elevator, very helpful when one is saddled with luggage. The kitchen was large, with a nice adjacent sitting room and the bedrooms were spacious. The mattresses were firm but were still reasonably comfortable.
There was a washing machine for our use and plenty of hot water for the four of us. Given the temperatures in Florence at the beginning of September, (30 degrees C), we were grateful that the A/C worked great. Our host was very accommodating. Everything was as advertised in the VRBO listing.
The only negative issue was the poor cleaning upon our arrival. Davita, the owner, explained the problem and I am sure it will be corrected for the next guest.
I highly recommend this flat. The pricing is very reasonable and we enjoyed the apartment and everything Florence had to offer. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We stayed five days. Perfect location, and the owner was very nice, and accommodating. Included letting us stay an hour and a half past checkout to accommodate our train schedule. Everything is just a short walk, including Galleria Accademia just around the corner, and several fine restaurants. The structure keeps out the noise from the street very well, and the lift was a very helpful feature.
The downside is that we were six people, and this property is really suited to four, because using the hideabed in the living room means moving the dining room table, and taking the living room out of commission. Second, one of the bedrooms is up a spiral staircase that was narrow and steep and not well suited for seniors or for those with any kind of mobility limitation. The main bathroom downstairs has a tub but no shower curtain, so if a shower is preferred, one's only choice is negotiate that spiral staircase.
We can recommend this place for four people, particularly if you are fit and not so tall so handle the staircase. We don't recommend for seniors. The location cannot be beat, and the owner is very accommodating.

Comfortable, quiet, roomy, excellent location.
Perfectly suited my needs and expectations and considering I was there for ten weeks I felt comfortable the entire time: The bedrooms were spacious and private, the bathrooms easily accessible. The kitchen was a particular plus as I prepared meals regularly: roomy, well laid out, fully stocked with appliances and necessities. Chiara even provided a CONAD card for discounts at the local market. I did have to buy a kitchen knife as those provided weren't very sharp, but then I'm a bit obsessive about such things. The tight spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom took a little getting used to. Comfortable couches in the living room, expandable table and chairs for dining, all in all the general ambiance was comfortable and not cramped. The apartment is on the third floor (fourth floor for us Yanks) and the elevator was adequate, but the stairs (71 steps) provided opportunity to burn off some of the delicious food to be found everywhere. The location is very central, it's one block from the Accademia four blocks from the Duomo and just around the corner from Piazza SS Annunciata so the streets can get busy but in Firenze centrale that's to be expected. The apartment is very quiet. particularly at night, during the day, with the kitchen window open one hears the instrument and vocal rehearsals coming from the adjacent Conservatorio di Musica, an added bonus in my opinion. Chiara is a gracious hostess and put us at ease immediately. The only thing that I would deduct points for is my having to sleep on Winnie the Pooh bed sheets other than that, big thumbs up.

THE Place to Stay!
I stayed in Chiara's apartment for 5 weeks and felt comfortable and "at home" throughout the entire time. The location is PERFECT. It is only a few minutes walk to the Galleria dell'Accademia, the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio, as well as to the Santa Maria Nouvella train station, and shopping. Additionally, there are many, many good restaurants close by; and the apartment is just 5 minutes from the Mercato Centrale!
Inside, the apartment is spacious, clean, and well-supplied. During my 5 week stay, my adult children arrived at various times to visit; they were so impressed by our charming "Home away from Home." Chiara lives just next door and she is easily accessible with great recommendations on restaurants, bakeries, and places to see.
The day I sadly had to leave Florence, Chiara graciously called a taxi for me. Then, she carried my heavy suitcase to the elevator, and waited with me until the taxi arrived. I hugged my wonderful hostess and am counting the days until I return to this beautiful Italian residence!

Great apartment and great location
We were 2 couples - mature parents and middle age son and wife we chose this because it had 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms. The apartment was charming in a very old building with lots of character. Our apartment was on the 4th and 5th floor. There is an elevator - thankfully! It takes 2 adults or 1 adult plus luggage. No problem there. The bedrooms are very large, the unit is fully equipped. The Accademmia is literally around the corner and the Duomo is less than 5 minute walk. Chiara the host was very helpful. Walk from train station was easy 15 minutes. The day we left was pouring rain so Chiara called a taxi that would accommodate us and all our luggage. Best 20 Euro we spent! I would highly recommend this.

Location, location, location!
My son and I stayed here for a week while exploring Florence. A half block up from the apartment you can see the Duomo if you look to the left and you can see the Accademie if you look to the right! Amazing. The apartment was clean, quiet and had everything a traveler might need. We even shopped at Mercato Centrale and made a wonderful Tuscan dinner one night. Chiara lives next door and was very responsive to questions. She even reserved an early morning taxi for our departure. Eccelente! Grazie, Chiara.

Perfect Florence flat
We loved our stay in Florence. We stayed at four places in Europe, and this one was our favorite. We were with our kids, who immediately claimed the upstairs bedroom, and my mother-in-law, so we had an age range of 65 years, yet everyone felt comfortable in the apartment. It's close to the Duomo, yet the neighborhood doesn't feel too touristy. The apartment was just as described on the website, and Chiara does a wonderful job of making her guests feel welcome; she was also really thoughtful--there was much-needed coffee and biscotti available when we arrived, so we didn't have to run out to find a store or cafe right away. There's a grocery store a couple blocks from the apartment, and small stores and restaurants dotted throughout the neighborhood. The train station is a bit of a hike with luggage, but we managed. We would definitely stay there again.
