This recently renovated condo is the perfect vacation spot for rest and relaxation! With a private balcony, a shared swimming pool, and all new furniture and flooring in 2018, 1975 St. Andrews provides comfort and style. The first level offers an open floor plan with wood flooring and free WiFi throughout. The living area features comfortable seating, a sleeper sofa, a 50-inch flatscreen Smart TV with a DVD player, a Bluetooth CD player/radio, and access to the porch. The kitchen offers granite countertops and plenty of cabinet space. St. Andrews Common is a private villa community at the entrance of Palmetto Dunes Resort, bordered on two sides by the Fazio Golf Course. Live oaks, palmettos, and other beautiful trees dominate the landscape. These two- and three-story buildings are arranged in groups of four, and they encircle a central courtyard with a shared swimming pool. The beach is less than a mile away and free beachfront parking is even available. THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Cleanliness, equipped with all necessities for cooking, laundry, bathroom, and bedding. Bikes for exploring just bring your personal helmet. We will be back! Thank you!!

This condo was in the best location for us. Close to bike paths, beach and pickle ball. We enjoyed the back patio every night and the condo was decorated nicely and furniture very comfy. We would stay here again!

The condo was clean and quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony. The steps inside were concerning. It was hard to see where the steps ended and the floor began. Caution!

The place was suitably furnished, the bed was comfortable, there was one thing, disappointing, and that was that there were rugs all over, some of them not in the cleanest. We had to roll the bedroom rug up and slide it under the bed, and we had to roll up the one in the bathroom and put it in the bathroom drawer because it was clearly dirty Once that was done the place was perfect. I really recommend losing all the shag rugs in a rental property and removing all the air fresheners. Perfume is the new second hand smoke and causes lung disease.

I was uneasy when I made a reservation because the agent kept changing the daily rate and saying things that conflicted with the info on the website. I'm an attorney, and the Uniform Commercial Code requires that a vendor has to honor the price that is publicly offered. Eventually, I told the agent that I preferred to make my reservation online. I did so twice, but both times it said the info about my credit card was incorrect (it wasn't) and that I had to call a toll-free number. When I tried, a small screen popped up and told me to call a different number in order to receive a discount. Of course, all the add-on fees and taxes almost doubled the cost. Instead of a bit less than $500 for four nights with taxes, it was more than $800. When it became evident that Hurricane Ian was probably going to strike in the general area of Hilton Head Island, I tried to cancel the reservation on the day of our scheduled arrival but was told that because it was less than 30 days until the reservation began, I would receive zero refund.
It was unclear who the reservation agency actually is......Vacasa, Booking.com or Priceline since I heard from all three of them at various times.
My only option is to mount a social media campaign to warn others about the questionable business practices these entities have.

This home is beautifully styled and has everything you need for your home away from home. It's very comfortable and inviting and impeccably decorated! The littlest things have been thought of: books there to read, cds to play, tv streaming services, a keurig AND a coffee maker, everything you need in the kitchen and so much more. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice & quiet place if you do not have to have beach front location.
Decorated nicely and plenty of room for myself and wife. We used the loft for one night when the grand kids came over. The Air-Conditioning went out on the last night of our visit but Vacasa did send over a couple of nice gentlemen with portable units that got us cooled off. Overall, we liked the unit and thought it was a good value.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed the pool being a quick walk away. The condo had everything we needed, including games!
The porch was nice. There was alot of wasps but it's summer so I'd expect that. People were friendly in the complex. I'd stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Palmetto dunes. Admiral 1975 was a very nice 2 bedroom condo. The decor was great and it had everything we needed. We only had one small problem the sink drain was clogged and would not drain properly. We contacted Vacassa about this issue and they said they would send someone out but no one ever came. I hope that they respond better to issues others might have. Other wise it was a great week in Hilton Head.

The Perfect Place!
With all the options to chose from, this was the absolute best we could have lucked out to get. The space was perfect, location amazing and everything was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and gave a home feel. Next time we are in Hilton Head, we absolutely would chose this rental again.

Unclear where to find a beach access on the resort grounds that you were able to park at. The room was cleaned before we got there but my wife went over it before the rest of the family went in and it was clear that they didn’t clean it very well.

Also, going home without a boatload of laundry to do made things much nicer as well. Kitchen worked out well, beds were nice, both bathrooms were excellent. The St. Andrews Common pool is super close (you can actually see it across the lot from this condo unit), but the walk to the beach on the first day when we didn't know where to go was rough. It's about a 2 mile walk to the beach if you don't find parking closer (like at the Disney Club or Dunes House). Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it's something to note. The real problem is that the resort signage and information isn't clear on how to even access the beach, but that's not the fault of these good folks who are renting their condo. On Day 2, we had things figured out and had a lovely vacation. I would certainly come back. Thank you!! Lastly, you have to go to an office or dropbox that's not at the resort itself to be able to check in. We didn't know that until going to the resort first and being told that we had to go somewhere else. Whatever, you live and you learn. All in all, this was a great family vacation and we made some wonderful memories.

We had an awesome time! The condo was gorgeous, spacious, clean and easily accessible to the beach. We enjoyed the close proximity to the pool. Kim and Jon’s condo felt like home! Already looking forward to next summer!
