It’s a short distance to bus stop and lifts, close to Safeway and city market.

Lisa was a great host with quick responses and immediate outreach prior to our arrival. The house was great with two bedrooms on the first floor and a loft for the baby to sleep on. Loved not having TVs everywhere so we could chat and hang out.

As soon as we walked into the house, an undeniable smell was smelt. The entire house smells like cats and a litter box. I am pretty allergic to cats so I immediately took some allergy medicine and was ok, but the smell is intense. We have stayed at a ton of places through VRBO and this is the first time we have ever had an experience like this. Avoid staying here unless litter boxes are your jam!

There was only one working shower. The shower/light in the bathroom attached to the bedroom didn't work. Peeling paint everywhere. There was blood on the pillowcase in the master bedroom, made me question if the sheets had been changed.

great location and space
So much personal stuff in house concern someone was living with us (food/clothes/personal supplies)
toilet and sinks in both bathrooms unstable
paint/plaster coming off of walls
light in master bathroom did not work

Clean and had everything we needed for cooking meals at the house.
Just a short walk to a bus stop that takes you to Cascade lift for skiing (only a 5 minute ride!)
Excellent and quick responses from the owner both before and during our stay.
Great place for a ski weekend with two couples!

The house was great for a ski weekend. The layout was great for our large group and Lisa was very communicative. We skied Beaver Creek and Vail.

Comfortable house with super convenient access to Vail city bus lines makes getting around a breeze. The owner, not a property manager, was very responsive to our concerns, and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend/ stay at this property again.

Good location in West Vail. 3 min walk to the shuttle stop. Very convenient for a ski trip. Roomy house. Large dining room table and updated kitchen.

The location is easily accessible to cascade lift and Lionshead. The house is a bit dated but plenty of room for our family of 5 and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. In Town for wedding at Grand Hyatt less than mile away.

Easy access to Vail and bus line. Could use a little freshening but was perfect for us. I would rent it again.

We were 5 of us at this house and spent three nights. The master bed was good but it was facing the master bathroom. The other room with the bunk bed had a rickety wood ladder to go on top and it didn’t look safe to climb. May be it is good for little kids. The heater/ac didn’t work in the room with the bunk bed so three of us ended up sleeping in the living room. Upstairs loft had a musty smell otherwise we cud hv had atleast one person sleep there…. The kitchen was well set up. We cudnt enjoy the deck outside because it was not clean and it was cold too. But overall we had a decent enough stay.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. There were a couple of insects in the house when we arrived. The lighting is poor in some of the rooms. We arrived in the evening and it was quite warm in the house. We went to open windows, only to find most of the screens were not in good enough shape to open windows. We turned the thermostat fan on and then found the air did not circulate through all of the rooms. One bedroom got no circulation. We saw there were a couple of floor fans and attempted to use them. One did not work at all. The other would fall over and wasn’t very functional. Some towels looked iffy, which made us question whether linens were freshly laundered. We were depending on one person to sleep in the upstairs loft. The pullout bed in that room was caving in on one end. It does not qualify as a bed. On the upside, it is located in a nice cul de sac, and isn’t far from Vail Village. The scenery is gorgeous.

Happy customer
We arrived and the cleaners hadn't been to take care of the cleaning. We notified the owner and she took care of everything lickety split and was AMAZING to work with. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed it a lot. We were very happy with our experience in staying there.

Great location and amount of space!
Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. There was ample space for us to spread out and sleep, and the table was plenty big enough for us to eat around. We had easy access to activities in Vail, and it was an easy drive to our scheduled actives in Avon and Edwards.
Probably our favorite part though? The gorgeous, peaceful path that ran nearby. We loved walking it, and my husband declared it to be his favorite running location ever.

Perfect location for riding at Vail. Bus stop was very close and reliable. Home was nice but had some broken features, none critical. Couch was very old in the main room. Pull out matteras upstairs missing some springs.
Toilet paper was minimal and towels were in the dryer. Would come back again but a little TLC would go a long way.

This house had plenty of space for all of us. It was clean. Lisa was so responsive! We had a question about the heat in the house and she was on it right away. There are two pull out couches, a king size bed, and a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom. Plenty of sleeping spots. The house is a very short walk to the bus stop. Would stay here again!

Location great
It is outdated. I found wrappers underneath my bed when stretching. The bed upstairs that sleeps two is broken and we had to stick cushions underneath the sleeper bed to keep it level. Paint is peeling off the walls. Couches have indents in it. Time to upgrade the furniture.

Really nice house, with all the things needed to have a good vacation.
Only thing that can be improved is heating system. It is a bit loud.
Owner answered all questions very fast, and was helpful.
We would love to come back again!

Lots of room
Overall, the place was clean and comfortable. We loved the huge kitchen and dining room table, and the house was certainly larger than a condo making it more comfortable. If you are traveling with kids or teens, the place would be great because the upstairs loft is a perfect place for them to have their own space. It could use some attention though. Most of it is cosmetic such as peeling paint on the bathroom ceilings. The living room couches however - they are a different story. They desperately need to be replaced as they were very very saggy. (Not sure about the upstairs couch. We didn't use it.) We did ask a couple questions before we left and the owner was always super quick to reply. Overall a good place to stay and we would go back. Thanks!

Vail Rental
The rental is as described through its listing. It was a spacious house that met all of our needs. I knew this rental was in vail but did not realize how close it was to the resort which was really nice. This house was perfect to hit the vail mountain and be close to everything without having to dish out a lot of money for a rental. I believe this is one of the more affordable rental in Vail. Thanks!
