Situated in Tybee Island, this lovely house for R 5,231 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This three bedroom one bath home has all the upgrades you'd want to see with a full makeover while still retaining it's historic charm. The original vaulted ceilings and heart pine floors give the home character, where the open kitchen with imported Italian Carrara marble counter tops and brand new stainless steel appliances give it functionality. Amenities include a 50" HD Smart TV with cable and wifi connectivity and an in-unit washer and dryer. There is a master suite with King bed, large closet, and en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with 2 full beds and a twin daybed, and a queen bedroom. All beds are outfitted with crisp white linens. The bathroom has a double vanity, tub/shower, and a full laundry center. The bathroom is supplied with bath towels, soaps, toilet paper, and laundry essentials. The generous kitchen has full sized appliances including a dishwasher and garbage disposal. The coffee maker is a standard 12-cup drip-style coffee maker. We supply cutlery, cooking utensils, dishware, drinkware (including coffee mugs, glasses, wine glasses), pots and pans, cooking sheets, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper towels and trash bags. We also supply salt, pepper, cooking spray, coffee, sugars, and powdered creamer. The backyard is great for relaxing on the patio to enjoy a nice summer breeze. The property is a few short steps from Jaycee Park that has playgrounds, ball fields and is a part of Tybee's bike path network. The beach itself is a 4-6 minute walk away where there are remodeled public changing areas, showers and restrooms. Not to mention, North Beach Bar and Grill and the lighthouse are just next to the beach. There are two parking spaces for guests located on the side of the house next to the fenced-in yard. The shared pool is a 30 second walk to The Barracks. Pool Seasonality: The Barracks Pool is open year-round. It is heated on the following date range: October 1 – December 15 March 1 – May 30 The pool is not and will not be heated from December 15 through March 1 as the air temps are too cool to maintain an adequate swimming temp. Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.

We had a great time at Crawford Cottage. The location is perfect - the beach is just down the road a bit and on our bikes we were there in a couple minutes. We biked all over the island, and even the south side was only about a 15 minute ride away. We loved the decor of Crawford - updated and cute. The layout worked well for us on a girls weekend, with the 3 separate bedrooms. We would stay here again for sure and are already talking about our next Tybee trip.

Beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located. The pool (pay additional fee to have it heated above 65 and it is perfect) and lovely park were family favorites. The walk to the beach and lighthouse was quick and easy to navigate. The entire family agrees we would all opt to return to Crawford Cottage for our next Tybee Island vacation!

The place was great, very clean. Short walk to the beach. Only complaint would be we were told the pool was heated. It was ice cold and called to ask and was told it’s only heated to 65 degrees to prevent freezing. That’s not the same thing as telling people the pool is heated. I expected it to be still usable with weather in the 70s but it was not. Ice cold. And that was a major consideration for us in selecting a place. But otherwise everything was great.

The only recommendation I would have is to add another tv into one of the bedrooms. The one TV in the cottage is a smart tv (not connected to cable) and requires logins for all of the apps in order to watch any sort of TV...which was somewhat of a pain. Other than that, everything was clean, clutter-free, easy, and the location cannot be beat! Also, the finishes and appliances In the house were very nice.

Strongly suggest the two large throw rugs be taken out as they present a serious tripping hazard. Otherwise house was Clean and well maintained with in easy walking distance of the beach, restaurant and coffee shop.

If you are looking for a place with everything good this is your best option. Very good cleaning, location and customer service. Cutting-edge technology throughout the house and nice neighborhood. Definitely I recommend this house and for sure it you’ll be happy.

Perfect place! The property was beautiful, very clean, and very comfortable. The was a first time renting a vacation home for me, and to be honest I was a little nervous, but when I had questions Megan always responded in a timely manner. The location was perfect 5 min walk to the beach/lighthouse, which is perfect since you would have to pay parking otherwise. Very nice, quiet, relaxed neighborhood. We were a group of 6 all adults, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The appliances and furnishings are all new or at least look very new, so we had no issues with things not working properly. My only complaint is I wish we could’ve stayed longer.
