Morgan and Mees was in a good location, nice staff, good restaurant, rooms needed maintenance/repair

The staff tired to be accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, although the pillows were not. The body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were nice. The rooms had AC which was very important with the September 88 F heatwave. The location was great. The breakfast was delicious and the setting quite pretty with a bright, sunny space, great music and an altogether fun and happy vibe.

We were disappointed in a few things; the sink and shower drains were stopped up, the handheld shower faucet hose was broken, the pillows were quite hard (they tried to give us softer ones but they too were not soft enough for us), the safe in one of our rooms would not work. They did not provide washcloths but did provide extra hand towels and said to use those as facecloths. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower would hardly pump out and one could not remove the top to get more than a small amount at a time to release. We were told that they would refund 50% of the first nights stay- this was not reflected in our final bill.

Superb

Really loved my stay! The room was split level with very steep steps to the bed (mentioned when you book) so not suitable for everyone. The bed was up the steps and a small living space and bathroom downstairs. The room was a little smaller than expected but perfect for what I needed. Breakfast was great and the staff were lovely. Would stay again.

The steps are not accessible for everyone but fine for me.

Beautiful hotel in Jordaan

Nice mezzanine setup. Very original layout. Overall design is very smart and creates a world apart. Staff is very helpful. Restaurant at the ground floor is very good. Excellent location means you walk through interesting parts of the city to get to city centre.

A little bit tight for two people. No cupboard or drawers, just a hanger (seems to be the new trend, doesn’t work for me).

Location & staff were great. I loved complimentary snacks provided daily & plenty of lovely body care products.

It was noisy as it is on busy street. Also, having bed in the upper level & conditioner right above the bed was not ideal.

location was good. a bit out of the busy centre but a short tram ride away. excellent restaurant area although menu was limited but very good

We had a blast and would love to come back! Maybe we'll just pick a warmer time. :)

The location was fabulous! We loved the room, the space, the restaurant, and the staff! The bathroom was amazing and the shower was our favorite of our trip! It was a great place to stay!

The room was cold. We turned up the heat as high as the remote would go but we couldn't seem to warm the space up very well. We didn't say anything because honestly the location, the space, and the hotel in general made up for it.

The staff were truly wonderful and tended to our every need. They were all so friendly and we felt like honored guests the entire time. The location is great and you can easily get to most parts of the city in under a 20-30 walk.

I really liked the staff and the room, very clean and convenient location. I didn't have a chance to use the restaurant downstairs, but it looked gorgeous and I will do it next time I come.

Nice hotel - great location to explore Amsterdam

The hotel was in a good location - we either walked or got the tram and it was away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The bathroom extended upwards to the bedroom level. It was connected via a direct air passage so (for obvious reasons) difficult to go to the loo in private.

It was comfortable, but for the price I expect a bit more

Hotel is well located and clean and well equipped. It has a good bar and restaurant

Air con didn't work properly. There should be a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom as when the light is turned on at night in the bathroom it shines straight into the bedroom due to the glass wall. I found the check in information very limited and too informal. We got zero information about the city, location, check out times, breakfast etc.

Unique, small hotel in a great location and with a fantastic restaurant!

The hotel has a great, unique style. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, always eager to assist. The restaurant is fantastic - great suggestion for a fancy dinner, but also for breakfast, lunch or just drinks at night! The location is close enough to the city center to walk there. You can also rent a boat close by, what I would recommend to every first time visitor! The room was also nice. Very interesting style and a comfy bed.

We had the suite in the top floor in one of the hottest weeks of the year. As you can imagine, it got really warm. Luckily there was an AC, but with two people in the room it was working hard to keep the room cool - and failed especially at night. Keeping windows open at night was not possible due to the nearby noisy streets. The suite was quite pricey and I was expecting a little more than this reasonably spacious room with a cramped bathroom corner. I have not seen the normal rooms, but would guess that they are better value for money.

Decent stay, great location, lovely people

Love the restaurant and bar that’s at the bottom. The rooms are quirky mezzanine style, ideally suited if you don’t have a lot of luggage. The staff are very nice.

The rooms were too cramped for two big suitcases. The rooms itself are well insulated but if you happen to have people coming in and out of neighbouring rooms it is very very loud.

Superb

Excellent hotel and good location.

The bar had excellent service, unfortunately the restaurant was not as good. Service was slow and our particular server was not attentive. We were five adults at a four person table., which made the dining experience quite uncomfortable. In addition, the menu is very selective. Not a great choice for picky eaters but what I did have was tasty.
