Great location, great food friendly staff

Hearing the pokies at 7am, The smell of smoke everywhere not great for kids, the loud markets next door starting at 3am, television not working, , bathroom sink next to bed (for a woman not practical at all!) But that old saying you get what you pay for!

Room was great, with table and chairs, tea and coffee and nice biscuits. Small cartons of milk provided were enough for our cereal (we brought bowls and spoons). Very hot water in the shower. No noise from road or markets (Saturday night/ Sunday morning).
Entry from parking area takes you through the poker machines, but there is a better entrance around the side.

Been staying there for years now. It's a nice place Location location location... Also the food at the restaurant is great value for money. tates good too.
Paramatta side is a little nosey due to the traffic and i could hear the guys playing pool downstairs with the music going.

Room was perfectly adequate. The bar downstairs was large and had features such as table tennis, billiards, big screens for sports, etc. As we only stayed one night and had plans, we didn't make use of these activities but it was good to know such entertainment was available. We also, unfortunately, missed the Sydney Markets hours. Location was convenient to get to the Sydney Olympic Park.
Sink was outside the bathroom and there were no hand towels provided (only bath towels). Access to hotel reception was a little confusing (as there were various entries to the bar and casino), but staff were very helpful. However, reception is located within the smoky casino, which we personally did not like.

Fantastic steak at the restaurant. Staff were lovely.
Check in via the pokie room was tricky to find. Smoking allowed throughout. Stairs only a bit of a struggle with suitcases.

Uncomfortable Bed, Sink & shower dirty

room was clean and good value for money
that it was up stairs from a vip room, did not realize this when booking.

That it was just outside the city, yet not too far of a drive into the VIVID festival each night.
Very clean, neat and tidy room
Helpful and friendly staff
Room just could have done with a small microwave as we ate in one night, and couldn't opt for a hot meal

For the price excellent and the meals at the bistro were much better than I expected for a pub

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Syd Olympic park where I was attending an event. Great value lunch in the bistro too
No EV charger on site, which means I have to sit and twiddle my thumbs somewhere else while I wait for the EV to charge. The cafe is not open for breakfast on Sundays.

The room is quite big, lot of storage and a big TV screen with YouTube and Netflix. The bathroom is also big. The two women housekeepers were absolutely lovely.
The WiFi was so bad, I never saw that before. Can't even watch a video in 240p. It's a problem when you don't want to buy data and rely on the hotel WiFi. No laundry service. 40mns from the central by train, not the best location.

reception in pokie room with people smoking. cockroach in bedroom. dated bathroom. weird that the sink is next to the bed and not in the actual bathroom. toilet didn’t flush well.

Location, parking and value for money.
Really frustrating trying to find staff to check into the hotel which is located in the pokies area.

The meals were very good and at the right price
Staff didn't have any knowledge for transport to venues

Room was easy to get into and the noise of the club nearby wasn't heard from the room.
Parking could've been more secure - not sure a loose chain would be enough to stop a thief.

The room was spacious and very clean. The linen was fresh and clean. There was plenty of tea and coffee sachets and the coffee was a a good brand. The room was quiet and away from the main busy road.
On the last night of my stay (Saturday 11 of March) night there was a power failure at the Hotel, due to a vehicle hitting a power pole in Parramatta Road. I understand that accidents happen and are at times unavoidable. The outage was not the fault of the hotel.
However, I was left in the dark in a hot room with no air conditioning the whole night. No one from the hotel management made any attempt to contact me or inform of the situation. No shower, no fridge, no TV or tea making facilities. I had difficulty trying to sleep.
This is extremely poor service and shows a total lack of care and a safety for the hotel guests. When I went downstairs in the morning, the Hotel was completely empty and deserted wth the main area closed. I walked around the building but it was all locked up and very quiet. I met another hotel guest who was very upset with the situation. He was trying to return his keycard and wanted to speak to someone in the hotel reception. I eventually returned to my room and left my keycard on the table.
I actually thought the hotel was very nice and the room was good. It is such a pity that my trip to Sydney ended in s such a disappointing way.
I believe that I am entitled to a one night refunded given the circumstances. I emailed the hotel but to date have not received a response.

Markets are not a clean location but expected

There are bars and restaurants inside the complex, so you don't feel bored if you want to go down and have some food or drink
The noise level is quite high, thanks for the Sydney Market working almost 24hrs.

Comfy room, decent size for the price. Good air con. Easy access to the train line with connections to central Sydney. Excellent hotel bistro with reasonably priced food.
Hotel location itself is quite boring, very little to do in immediate area bar visit the markets, but that is offset by quick trains to centre or Olympic Park.

The location is SPECTACULAR for the Sydney Markets - right in the name! Food and staff were fantastic and had a great vibe. We were there on a night with the live Piano in the Bistro and it made the place have a great vibe. Room were dead quiet, even with the markets in full swing.
Pokies central. The VIP room is where check-in is, and the TAB room is the Bistro - if this isn't your moral jam, there's no escape from it.

Very close to Accor stadium. Long way from CBD. Bar open late.
No lift or ramp up to room. Carrying 24 kg bag up and down 2 flights of stairs is not easy at 68 years old.

Sound proofing of rooms. would be an issue if you had noisy guests
