Way to small for that amount of rooms (5 rooms for one bath room) and it was not even the high Season. People are cooking 5 stars dinner when you are sleeping ... And one bath for 12 people (and the shower really need to be replace)

Olafsvik is a must stay on your ring road experience! It’s very cute and surprisingly not as small as I imagined from online images and description. Inga and Oli were very sweet with their concern for guests and extremely hospitable. The house is so cute and cozy. The living area is very spacious, the bathroom is clean, and kitchen has all supplies. The house is filled with thoughtful and beautiful decor. We made friends with people traveling from Germany. I highly recommend. This was one of our favorite stays.

Thoughtless European tourists hogging the kitchen and bathroom facilities without any thought whatsoever for their fellow travellers, even though there are signs saying do not do rhat exact same thing. Do that in my home country of Australia and you wouldn't last very long I give you the tip.. Use your brain mate. Screaming kid with Euro couple who thought nothing of it. Leaving the place in a mess in their rush to leave in rhe morning. Old Euro tourist couples doing the same thing. Disgraceful, thoughtles behaviour. Unbelievable. I feel sorry for the lovely hosts Oli and Inga.

The photos don´t do justice to this lovely place. It felt very welcoming, homing and cosy. We were very surprise how clean it was!!! It has been defiantly a right choice to stay here in we will definitely recommend it.

No breakfast but friendly staff

Clean kitchen. Facility hard to find.

Self check-in, the kitchen is big, there are extra toilets just in case you need em, the living room is beautiful and so was the view in the morning. The room we had was great, we really enjoyed it.

Someone left an empty kfc bucket in our room :D didn't even know Iceland has KFC until this point so this was a surprise to us and it became our joke for the day. The owner made sure to apologize but it's alright, we just left it near the trash bin.

The room was really big, and bright, and super cozy! We loved it. Great friendly owner, very clear detailed instructions make the place easy to find.

Both trash cans in the room were full of trash left (presumably) from the previous guests.

Didn't realize the kitchen is shared. Please read carefully when you book. The family room has a private bath but shared kitchen. Need to clean up dishes after use and there is no dish washer. The house is very old and smells bad. The ceiling of our room is broken / falling off. Bathroom is tiny.

Very comfortable, clean, cozy and Well-equipped guesthouse with fantastic view over the ocean. The host Oli was very nice and we were able to check in a 2 hours earlier. Totally recommend! :)

The place was in a good location for our trip. The check-in was easy and the house really cosy with an amazing view from the living room. Unfortunately we could use the terrace because of the bad weather. The beds are really comfortable, perfect to rest after an adventurous day.

The views were lovely in all directions. The owners were very kind and checked in on us every day.

Overall, had everything we needed. equipped shared kitchen, the washing facilities are shared with 5 rooms but everything was clean and assumed worked good for everyone. good value for money. very basic rooms, comfy beads. good recommendation from the owner for a restaurant nearby. thank you for everything!

it's not that we didn't like but the exterior could use a paint job, it is a bit misleading.
