The place was great! Easy check in and out. Very close to the chair lift and gondola. Also close to a grocery store. I would stay here again

The location is excellent. The property is right in the middle of the Lionshead village. Literally few minutes walk to the gondolla and chair lift.
Be aware. This property is rented via VRBO, so the studio is not part of the Lifthouse lodge operations. Meaning, you get no housekeeping for the week, no fresh towels, you have to take out your trash, etc. plus you pay more than the initial rate per night. There is cleaning fee, extra person fee, some other fee, taxes, etc. So, the rate per night comes to be a lot more than advertised.
The main problem was the lack of hot water in the shower in the evening. The water temperature was only lukewarm. Imagine showering in cold water after a day on the slopes! We communicated with the host. He responded promptly and was getting in touch with the lodge management. Supposedly they turned the temperature up…. But nothing changed! Still no hot water in the evening, probably they only have one old water heater that is just not enough to supply all the rooms.
Otherwise, great stay. Love Vail. Good location

Nice little place in a perfect location. Easy walk to the gondola even in ski boots. Right above one of the best restaurants at Vail.

I plan to come back to this place in foreseeable future! And recommend to my friends

This tiny condo is minutes from the ski lifts and a convenient walk down the elevator from the 4th floor and around the Arabella Hotel. Nice bed, but with a light and table on only one side. No light in the living room other than from the sliding glass door and kitchen light. Minimal kitchen items; if you plan to drink wine, be sure to bring a corkscrew and wine glasses.

Great location. Unit was as described. But soap dispenser was empty, and toliet seat was loose. I still have an issue, with only providing 2 rolls of TP, for a 4 day stay. LOL
I did send a text message to the one of the numbers show in the email, 2 days before my arrival asking about transportation questions, and never received a response???

The elevator was shown as an amenity yet the elevator has been down for months. I was on the 4th floor and had to walk 4 flights of stairs wearing ski gear.

Once we entered the apartment/condo it was just as pictured. Very clean and a nice view of the square below and the mountain beyond. The parking was a bit of a surprise but maybe we just hadn’t read the details ahead of time. Be prepared to pay $50-$60 a day and park in the garage across the way. The property in which the apartment was located was unimpressive… boxes in the entry, plaster chips everywhere… to be fair there were obviously some construction projects underway but the halls were all in need of a good vacuum, the elevator was broken and the stairwells were freezing. On the bright side, the staff were friendly, there was a real Christmas tree in the little foyer and the apartment was well equipped and perfect for two people. We would stay there again.

This location is fantastic. You’re right at the bottom of the mountain, right in the middle of Lionshead and walking distance from vail village.

Lovely location in Vail w/ access to where you want to be. VERY comfy bed, and just what you need for a short getaway.

Several burnt out light bulbs. Smell of dead animal in closet. Fridge without freezer(no ice). Elevator was broken.

Overall a great place to book and would visit again! I am giving the accuracy of online listing 3 stars because the unit I arrived to was not the one I booked. The host was very easy to contact and reassured me that this was due to an upgrade as the unit I was assigned had AC. It would have been nice to have a heads up on this. I was worried I was in someone else’s property or that another guest was going to arrive.

Very convenient property. Minutes from the slopes and several restaurants. It is an efficiency, so a very small kitchenette with a small refrigerator. No oven or toaster oven. Very limited kitchen supplies, but enough for what we needed. Nice balcony overlooking the slopes and the shops. I wouldn't reccommend more than 3 people stay in the property (king size bed is very comfortable and my son said the sofa bed was comfortable for a sofa bed).

Great little condo, perfect location just as listed. Very comfy king size bed. Cute patio with beautiful views. However, the patio door does not lock. I reached out to let them know and was told by the property manager that this was not necessary “this is Vail, everyone is wealthy”. While it’s true that nothing bad happened and it’s unlikely that someone would get in through the 4th floor balcony, a $6 dowel rod would fix the problem. The reluctance to fix a known issue was very odd. Otherwise, great stay.

We did a last minute trip to Vail for three night and found this vrbo. The location was great for us- we walked everywhere. The unit is nice and clean. There is a nightly parking fee but we had a spot that was close. We did enjoy the balcony and view.

This is located right in town. Walk to everything and the nightly music was directly below us so we could sit on the patio and enjoy it while looking at the great view.

The condo is a studio for 2 people. The bed was large and nice. We enjoyed our coffee and drinks on the small deck. Also know it costs $35/night to park at the condo or at the parking garage across the street. We missed this in the listing. Love the location. Easy to walk wherever and nice restaurants right below the condo. We would definitely stay here again.

Came for a long weekend with some friends who were staying near by. Perfect location. Extremely close to the gondola and the supermarket. Very clean and cozy. 3 of us stayed in this condo and didn’t feel crammed. Our buddy who slept on the pullout couch said it was the most comfortable pullout he’s ever slept on. For sure gonna come back!

Location was very good. I think it was overated by VRBO. This property does not have air conditioning . Which made for uncomfortable sleeping. But if your a skier and want to be within a short walk to the lift this is your spot. Some updated would help earn this rating .
