Possibly better suited for well-behaved groups of young people
The studio is spacious and tiled throughout. It was all spotlessly clean. There were no nasty smells or odours (e.g., no stinky sky boots feet odour from worn-out carpets, as you could have in many Zermatt hotels). The shower pressure was excellent. It was warm. On a clear day, you can see the Matterhorn from the terrace; besides being beautiful, you can immediately gauge the wind level based on how much "smoke" you see. The kitchen is tiny but fully equipped. The couch is comfortable, and there is a small TV. The host kindly agreed to a one-hour extension to my check-out time.
The property is on top of a very steep heel. It isn't easy, even on foot, without ski equipment or luggage. And you'll have to climb it for anything: ski, food, trash. A non-overweight, reasonably fit middle-aged person will be seriously challenged. There are two single-foldable beds. Unfortunately, the mattress doesn't even stay straight and is of terrible quality. Think more of a makeshift or business-class bed on a large long-haul aircraft than an actual bed. The temperature was nice and warm, but there were no visible heaters (underfloor heating, most likely). So if you want to wash and dry stinky gear after a day of skiing, the drying part is a bit tricky. The host asks for a substantial cleaning fee and that the guests clean everything, dispose of the garbage, etc. As a general principle, it seems fair to ask for a cleaning fee or for the guest to do it, but not both. The garbage disposal requirements were a saga. Recycling is different than elsewhere. As it turns out, you also have to use a municipality-approved special bag for the actual trash. Unfortunately, only one such bag was provided. So go down the hill, and waste your time until you find out that the special trash bag is not on the supermarket's shelves but is separately sold by the clerk at the counter. Buy it. Climb the hill to return. Now take the garbage down the hill. Climb back. Similarly, there were only two rolls of toilet paper. Credit card payment was not accepted; only Western Union (WU) or wire transfers. For WU, one would have to go down in the town, find their office, spend time there, and than climb back. Meanwhile, international wire transfers are expensive. How hard would it have been to leave some "municipality-approved" garbage bags, an extra roll of toilet paper and accept a credit card?

Reasonably priced functional and clean apartment! You don't need more (if you are hiking all day) 😊
We enjoyed this functional one bedroom apartment with kitchenette and a separate bathroom. There is plenty of storage in the cupboards even though not enough in the kitchen. It has good equipments, and we never wished we needed something else. The shared terrace is convenient to dry clothes, not exactly to have a romantic dinner. Overall we found this was very good value for our money and the host was friendly and always responsive. I do recommend this place even with a small family and a dog!
It is slightly off the center but within OK distance to the station and commodities. This is reflected in the price so absolutely no surprise!

I was satisfied.
An owner was kindly. The room was comfortable with cleanliness. All the kitchen tools gathered. I saw the Matterhorn from the room and was splendid.
As for the disappointing one, a slope spread out to the station, and it was hard to walk for an old person.
