Terrific place to stay in Florence that is close to all the major sites. Our family of 4 stayed there and loved it. The apartment was very clean and the 2 beds and pull-out couch all were comfortable. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and found groceries and restaurants all nearby. Adriana, the host, is awesome and really took care of us. Her communication and kindness just made our stay so easy and pleasant. Having a host as accommodating as Adriana makes all the difference. We would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it to anyone.

The apartment was very nice and affordable, but what makes this property special is it's location, location, location. My wife and I are both in our 70's and we could walk to all of the sites in 15 minutes or less. The elevator while small, was large enough for my wife and I to both use together all the time.

It was a fun apartment filled with character (including the elevator to the top floor). Everything was an easy walk away and we found lovely restaurants and shops moments away from the front door. A little bit noisy at night from party goers in the streets below but nothing that ear plugs couldn’t handle. Adriana was a gracious and patient host. A good stay.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at this apartment. It was situated in an amazing location close to all of the sites and museums. The host was lovely, responsive, helpful, and provided useful recommendations. The kitchen had everything you need to cook at home and the place is historic and well kept. If we were to return to Firenze we would love to stay here again. We would highly recommend it to others visiting this amazing city!

My family and I stayed in Florence before finishing our Italy trip in Rome. The place was great and it was so close to many of historical sites and landmarks, restaurants, and public transportation. Having an elevator in the building and a washer inside of the apartment was a plus. Adriana was very sweet and accommodating. She saw that we were tired and hungry from traveling and even offered to cook for us when we arrived. (We didn’t let her of course, but it was nice that she even offered in the 1st place) She gave us complete privacy, but also made it known that she was available if needed. She gave some great recommendations and tips. We communicated with her through WhatsApp. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Adriana, Grazie Mille!

This apartment is in a fantastic location. Only 5 to 15 minute walk to just about all major attractions. Adriana is a perfect host. She allowed us to check in early since the previous guests checked out early. We very much appreciated the ability to check in early and drop off our bags. She even called us a taxi on our departure date and waited with us until the taxi arrived. So sweet!

Simple, no frills apt with elevator. Well equipped, everything works and is in good condition. Spotlessly clean, and easy to keep that way. The Owner, Adriana, is easily available, if needed…she is a gem.

I was lovely to enter a real Italian apartment with antique furniture, a king size bed and a view out the bedroom window of the Duomo. Adrianna was most welcoming. I especially liked the fact that there was real artwork on the walls. Every kind of utensil for cooking was available in a cupboard. Extra blankets were provided to make for a very comfortable stay in this premier location to all the happenings. We were right around the corner from the Academia. We were able to walk every where. The elevator made it easy to go to the top floor.

We really enjoyed our Florence visit, although it was too short (3+ days). Our hostess met us & took the time to show us everything in the apartment, which was very helpful being from the US. She was very easy to communicate with, speaks English too. The unit is as photographed in the listing. It is REALLY walking distance to David (Academie) and DUOMO (both fabulous). Couldn't ask for a better location. We were stunned at the size of the elevator (lift), holds one person, can squeeze in two skinnies. Otherwise we counted 83 steps to this 6th floor unit. At my age (79) I wasn't able to climb them, so I relied on the Lift & my family took the stairs. The master bedroom is a generous size with gorgeous antique furniture, double bed, desk, bureau, armoire. The 2nd bedroom was tiny & no AC so my son had to sleep on the couch in living room. He's 6'1" so it was tight. We arrived during a 98 degrees F heat wave, so the AC was extremely important. There is AC in the kitchen & living room. It took 2 days for some cool air to flutter into the master bedroom with the help of two floor fans. Everything you could want is available in the kitchen, we loved the huge window, the table & chairs & BEST for me, a normal coffee pot. The best coffee in Europe! Washer available although we didn't use it, nice new refrigerator. Gas stove was a little tricky for us, but we learned. We loved the old-style kitchen with a drain rack in cabinet over sink! My daughter now wants one installed at home! Hostess left lots of little items to make things easier, olive oil, S&P, coffee, paper towels, etc. We Americans like our TV in the evening, but everything was in Italian, Netflix would have been nice to have. Internet available. We can't say enough positive things about our hostess, she was wonderful, helpful, immediately available. We couldn't have predicted the heat wave which made AC crucial. She offered to bring us a floor fan for the 2nd bedroom, we declined, brought the mattress onto the kitchen floor & it worked out fine! Bathroom (no AC) was good size, normal European shower was tiny to us, but did the job. The trash situation in Italy was interesting, we were instructed to carry our trash to bins out on the local street, in Florence it was about a block away. Our Hostess was a 5-star hostess. We learned it's best to deal with an owner than a property management. Florence is now a wonderful memory & if we go back, we'd want to stay here again.

It was a good location for our holiday in Florence the only minor issue of concern was the noise from the street in the front double bedroom however this would be expected in such a central location. The apartment was well-appointed (including a small Christmas tree) and was literally in the center of everything we had planned during our visit. We walked everywhere, including up to the Piazzaletta di Michelanglo for a beautiful evening sunset as we watched the city lights appear. Adriana came again in person as we checked out and arranged a taxi to the train station (we walked from station to apartment upon arrival - 15 minute walk).

Wonderful escape in the heart of Florence
My wife and I stayed 4 nights in this wonderful apartment. It had everything we needed during our stay. The host was very accommodating to our early arrival, and allowed us a slightly late departure to align with our train times. And she was quick to respond with questions about best places to eat, get a cab, etc. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit Florence!

Our stay in Florence was lovely due to the cute apartment and our super host Adriana. She met us at the property and told us the best things to see in the neighborhood. She made us feel very welcome as if we were old friends. We would stay there again.

Lovely, clean apartment, great location, with elevator
The host was truly the best we could have hoped for, nothing was too much trouble for her. The flat can be a little noisy from the streetlife, but windows do a good job of soundproofing. Even in October, there are mosquitoes, so take precautions. Kitchen is fully equipped and there are many options for self-catering in the local area. Washing machine works really well too, and airer provided. Would stay again!
