Die finca ist qualitativ und wertig renoviert worden, es sind bequeme Betten in jedem Raum, Fernseher und eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Equipment vorhanden. man sollte sich aber Gewürze, Essig, Öl, Salz und Pfeffer mitbringen, da diese gefehlt hatten. Für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert.
Dennoch sollte man sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass die finca im Norden der Insel ist und es dort jeden Tag regnen kann. Also Regenschirm einpacken.

Y también debería de haber azúcar, te , cápsulas de cafe , aceite, sal son cojas entran en el precio y por pocos dias uno debe de comprar y luego no puede volver a llevarse ya que no venden pequeñas dosis sino debes comprar caja .

The views from the garden are breathtaking and the garden itself is beautiful as well - you'll see big monsteras, banana and avocado trees. The terrace is really nice - again, the views! - the bed was comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom is spacious. São Vicente's church and a nice snack bar are just under 10m walking distance from the accommodation, and the seaside promenade with restaurants and bars just a few minutes more - great location overall.
Considering it's a self-catering accommodation, it was disappointing to not have any basic cooking essentials in the kitchen (salt, olive oil) which was the case in other places we stayed at in Madeira. The smell of dampness in the flat is intense (a dehumidifier is provided).

Really comfortable and clean with little kitchen area with everything you need and excellent shower. Beautiful scenic location of the mountains and clock tower and some view of the sea. Very quiet and peaceful. Really nice outdoor pool with no one else using it when we were there and just two other small apartments.
There’s no sandy beach but Madeira would be a different island if it had that. A ten minute walk to the little town and the seafront and a fairly steep walk back.

J'aurai apprécié recevoir les instructions d'arrivée et de séjour un peu plus tôt, d'autant plus qu'il faut remplir un questionnaire et que nous n'avons pas toujours accès à internet pendant les vacances
Ps : attention le lien google map dans les idées de séjour "calhau" de sao vicente n'est pas le bon, il envoi vers le "pub ferro velho"
Ce serait bien d'installer une machine à laver dans la cuisine pour plus de confort

Very good value, spaceous, beautiful location, beautiful design. Kitchen has dishwasher and oven and everything one needs except perhaps storage for food outside the fridge. Also loved the terrasse and garden. Perfect sleep thanks to stores and comfortable beds .
It's a beautiful place. The only improvement one can think of would be some cupboards for clothes .

We absolutely loved this place. The interior of the house is very tasteful and everything was super clean. The house had (almost) everything we needed. The garden is just beautiful and we were lucky enough to meet Nuno on our last day, who told us so much about all the plants. The views are stunning in every direction and we loved that it is just the tiniest bit out of the center but still in walking distance. If we come back to Madeira, we'd definitely stay here again.
Salt, Pepper, Oil in the kitchen would have been great. We ate out a lot but also cooked ourselves a few times so had to buy salt and pepper, which now hopefully will come in handy for future guests. Also a pair of scissors in the kitchen would have been useful.

The part of the big house, we were renting, was 3 bedroom apartment. It was exactly as on the pictures - big, comfortable, clean, it will suit up to 3 couples/families, nicely furnished and well equipped. The garden and pool is shared, but still quite private, well maintained and cosy.

I spent 9 days in Casa Oliveria Esmeraldo in January. The house, it's garden, the view and everything was just perfect. Duarte and Nuno are super nice, very helpful and always available. The whole north region is just like a fairytale. Sao Vicente and the house with the surrounding are perfect if you want to get out of everyday life and find your peace. It was very
hard to leave.

One of our houses because we rent both of the big houses wasn't close to be ready at 15h.
There is such a lack of caring for the house and for the guests that is remarkable how and why you are in this business.
Please just make renovation and sell the business for someone that can properly administrated.

The big tree the view for the mountains, indeed a good location
The house that I rented isn't the one I founded, but unfortunately in high season was impossible to change accommodation and I had to stay. I tried to make the best but must report a lack of care and even negative impact on my vacation from the host making a cancellation of one of the property s after one talk.
I will not advice this property for relaxed vacation on the north side of the island.

Everything was just perfect for our 5 night stay. The property is very easy to access, breath taking views & cosy, well thought out & equipped little flat. Clean and comfortable. Bottle of wine and water upon arrival was also appreciated. The location is great for exploring the North part of the island, walking distance to the town centre, shops & restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!
Have no major complaints, however, there were few little things I thought could be improved in my opinion, such as having basic condiments for cooking (salt, oil, pepper), the EXIT sign above the door is way too bright for those who want complete darkness to sleep (we had to cover it with the towel) and the fridge a bit too noisy as well. None of that was a major inconvenience though.

The house was located in a beautiful garden and we were warmly welcomed by one of the brothers.
The house we had had almost no shade on the private patio (there was shade around the shared pool though) and the windows didn't have flyscreens which we would've preferred.

The arrival arrangements were clearly communicated and the car park system worked well. The bed was super comfy and the shower was good too. A few coffee pods were left which were welcome.
We walked down to the seafront and had an excellent meal at the Brasiero Grill ,and also the Caravela.
It rained during our stay and the front door leaked so that our bags got wet in the middle of the night. The owner did say that he’d hoped this had been fixed but I suspect will now look at it again. I wouldn’t say there was a ‘ welcome pack’ as stated but the coffee was appreciated- milk and some normal tea would have been very useful.
We drove to Santana , which took ages along very windy roads, thinking there would be much there than there was- just the traditional houses selling touristy stuff and a few cafes.

Close to the nice part of São Vicente, which is the older center (and not by the sea). A really nice well kept house in a quiet neighborhood with a pool (though we didn’t use it). Nice to have a fully equipped kitchen and a proper seating area and everything felt pretty new and fresh. Good parking lot with an automatic gate. We never met Duarte, but he was very helpful via the app and gave us all the information and help we needed by text.
The sofa wasn’t very comfortable to sleep in, so bear this in mind if you are going to use it as a bed. The bathroom zink is modern and classy looking, but not very practical. Also, and this is super minor really, but the place could really benefit from some more decorating and smaller lamps to get you in a cosy mood. Only really bright lights in the ceiling and bare white walls, and no plants. (We really liked staying here though, so no critique! Just wanted to advise.)

We liked the ample living space, parking and pool. The location made this a good base to explore the North of the island; not much to do in the immediate vicinity but the host sent a list of restaurants, which was very useful

It's an absolutely lovely place with gorgeous gardens. You can sip your coffee in the morning underneath banana or avocado tree and enjoy fantastic view. Location is good as well - plenty to sea around and good start point for many Lavada's and other attractions on the island. I personally would recommend PR16 that my kids (5,9,17) liked the most. It wasn't very crowded and had it all - tunnels, waterfalls, slippery paths. You will need torch to take with you. House itself is very nice and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Restaurants are in a walking distance though if you don't feel like cooking. The best were super comfy beds with an extra large duvet. My 5 years old would jump in our bed in the morning to enjoy cuddles. Swimming pool was a bonus as well. After a day of exploring it was great to deep in a cool water. Definitely recommend this place - it's a great start point for exploring island. It's peaceful, clean, chic and lovely. If you like staying away from it all this is place for you. My family had great week in there. I think car would be essential. ps. Thank you for fantastic bottle of Portuguese wine on arrival!
Mosquitos! lol We were not prepared for mosquitos. Please take some repellents with you if mosquitos bothering you. Otherwise we did not have any issues at all. Place is perfect.
The only suggestion we would have is to provide some extra towels to use by the swimming pool and maybe some extra bath mats. With 3 kids splashing and air being so moist would be great to have an extra dry towel.

Beautiful house with a nice garden. The house was beautifully decorated , a mix between old and new. Beds were comfortable and the shower was great! Our host was very nice, hè offered to wash our clothes for free. It came back washed and ironed. What a great service! I would recommand this house for sure.We Will definately come back some day.

The views from our windows were stunning, no matter of it was a cloudy or a sunny day - wherever you looked, beauty surrounded us 360°, including the interiors of a the house itself. It's a lovely old house - restored and furnished nicely, without clutter and unnecessary props but with respect to some old traditional elements of the design. It's surrounded by a beautiful garden.
Duarte and Nuno were great hosts, it was clearly important to them that we're comfortable. Nuno was usually around if we needed anything or just for a nice chat but without being intrusive, it really felt like our own space.
More specifics - we stayed a week in a house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen, one balcony and a patio. Each room apart from the kitchen had a TV and AC/heater, blinds in all windows and there were twin beds so could be separated if necessary and the house could easily accommodate 6 people. There was a pool table in the living room, swimming pool in the garden - lots to do on a rainy and a sunny day.
Sao Vicente is a beautiful town with levada trails and the ocean access, a few restaurants, shops, and some volcanic caves tourist attraction (currently closed due to Covid situation). It's 30 minutes drive from Funchal,, 10 minutes drive from sandy beaches of Seixal and natural pools of Porto Moniz.

We stayed here for 2 weeks with a couple of friends and our 8 month old son. It was just perfect. Super clean and fresh house. The location is great, Sao Vicente is beautiful and peaceful, not so many tourists or partying - which was perfect for us. There’s plenty of beautiful hikes nearby and also a supermarket which was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira!
