Fairly clean home is situated in a nice quiet established neighborhood close to shopping. 1 car garage can be accessed through the alley, though we did not use due to rugs on garage floor. A bucket of snacks and cold drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. We only used the home for sleep at night as we were visiting family for Christmas. There is only 1 smoke detector for the whole home. The Living Room could use a table lamp for light. The floors sink quite noticeably on the bed/bath side- so much so that my son had to sleep on several pillows just to be level in the bed! We were afraid the side of the house would fall off!

When we arrived we were greeted with a container of snacks on the kitchen counter (husband & son were thrilled). We were also greeted with stuffed animals throughout which was fun for me and the kids to see - made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The home was clean and in a great quiet location. Neighbors were very friendly and greeted us each morning.

This is a nice house in a nice neighborhood. Very clean and owner was very nice and accommodating. The only issues were: Beds are platform and low to the ground so not really made for tall people. Dining table had chairs that weren’t very comfortable. There are no twin beds, all we found was a twin blowup mattress and there is a couch that wasn’t very comfortable. We are not small people but maybe will be comfortable for smaller folks. TV in master had a Firestick that didn’t work. Everything else was fine.

We've used VRBO before and there is usually very little food in the house. I can't tell you how much we appreciated the bucket of snacks and some frozen items that awaited us. It meant not having to go out for fast food at 9 PM. We could just unpack, microwave and RELAX! The house was spotless. It was a perfect location for all our activities.

Penny was a wonderful hostess for her home. We loved the snacks when we arrived. Great communication throughout our stay in San Antonio. House was in a great and quiet neighborhood and close to what we planned to do in San Antonio. We loved the time at the pool and little park.

Penny went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Extra touches down to stuffed animals, coloring books and colored pencils for the kids were much appreciated! The kitchen is well stocked with basics. The beds are super comfortable. The pool was lovely and basically empty during the day - quite busy in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful

The house was cozy, comfortable, easy to use. They left extras that others had left, like coffee and condiments, coloring books crayons, great games, stuffed animals. All these were extra helps. It is a nice place too.

Great communication. House was exactly as described. We were only there a few days and spent most of our time sightseeing, but the little time we spent there was perfect! Everything we could possibly need was readily available. I didn’t see the bath towels at first so my apologies for using a few beach towels. The only thing I would personally change are the beds. They are extremely low to the ground. I have knee issues so it wasn’t easy getting in and out. Everything else was great! Thanks so much for the treats, hospitality, and for being so accommodating. Definitely recommend this property!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed Penny’s property for our San Antonio stay! Beds were comfy and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen for meals after our long days out exploring. Easy drive to amusement parks, missions, and downtown, with quick access to area grocery and restaurant stops. Penny was quick to communicate and had great recommendations. We would stay here again on a return trip to the area;)! Thanks for a great stay!

Exactly as photos and description showed. Excellent communication with owner. Easy to get to and from the house. Nice alley in back with entrance through garage and into the kitchen. Two bedrooms, each with it's own full bathroom. Nice quiet and safe neighborhood. Saw deer in the evening in several neighbors' yards. Highly recommend staying here.

My 23 year old son and I stayed at this property over American Thanksgiving. It was fantastic! Exactly as advertised - comfortable, clean, lovely neighbourhood, great parking, and a lot of extra touches from fluffy towels, to warm duvets, to a lovely basket of goodies! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit San Antonio. A wonderful host!

Penny was a great host and always got back with us ASAP. We enjoyed the location of her home, it was easy to get around San Antonio from her location. The home was well equipped with linens and supplies, however the home furnishings (including beds) were very low to the ground. The “older generation” struggled to get out of the beds, and off the leather furniture. This property would be ideal for those on the go, and not needing a cozy, comfy place to land. Also, not being familiar with back alleys, it might be important to explain to renters the garage entrance and parking in the rear of the home. All in all, it suited our purpose and needs.

My husband, son and daughter-in-law stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the lovely quiet neighborhood. Penny was a wonderful host, and great communication. The house was very clran and supplied with lots of conveniences plus a bucket of snacks. We would stay here again.

We have rented this property on 4 different occasions and it never fails to live up to my expectation. The house is clean, in a good location to the freeway, shopping and restaurants. This place was great it had everything we needed. Penny was wonderful, went above and beyond, even surprised us with a "sweet "welcome package. The house is within a quiet neighborhood and the pool is a short block away!! Would definitely stay here again.
