A very confortable place to stay. Everything you need is there. The owners are friendly and will help you if needed. It’s a short distance from the NDSM ferry to Amsterdam (a 5km walk or the bus is just around the corner) if you want to visit the city. It’s the perfect place to visit the area if you rent a bike. (P.S. the owners don’t rent bikes). You can also go for a swim 5 minutes walk from the house.
It’s a little noisy if you sit outside in the garden. A lot of traffic on the street.

We loved this apartment. It's so welcoming, clean and is equiped with everything one needs. The location is a 10 mins Bus ride and 2 train stops away from Amsterdam Centraal. The area is beautiful and we would definitely return.

The property was Gorgeous. So homely and comfortable with the location being super handy (right next to a bus stop that takes you pretty much anywhere you need to go). The little town it’s located in has everything (restaurants, shops etc) and is perfect if you want to be away from the busyness of centraal but also close enough where you can still go and see everything. The beds were also so comfy, i don’t think we’ve ever slept so well before whilst visiting the Netherlands before.
There’s honestly nothing we could fault about this place, we just loved it!

Everything was just perfect. The location is excellent, quiet village feeling, close to nature, yet with an easy connection by public transport to the centre of Amsterdam. Equipped to the highest standards, nice kitchen and beautiful bathroom, comfortable beds.

The appartment is nicely renovated and located in the centre of Landsmeer, close to groceries, restaurants, local market and so on. The kitchen and all the rooms are perfectly furnished, so we had everything we needed. Travelling to Amsterdam was really easy, we even got plastic cards for the public transportation, which was really helpful. You can even borrow bicycles from the hosts! And if you arrive by car, you can park your car safely in front of the house.
Our hosts, Ivette and Dimitri welcomed us really warmly and fulfilled all our questions regarding sightseeings, restaurants, etc.
There's nothing we disliked during our stay, we just want to go back as soon as we can. :)

The accommodation is lovingly furnished, very clean and bright. Ideal for a family with children. There are various shopping facilities nearby. Ivette took wonderful care of us.
We liked everything.

The apartment was excellent, stylish in a country living kind of way. Everything we needed was provided. The location was good for us too, we cycled into the centre of Amsterdam in around 35 minutes. If driving, it is just a few minutes from the A10 ring road / motorway. Shops and restaurants are nearby including a market every Friday. Also close, is the fantastic Het Twiske nature reserve.

Everything, the whole appartment is beautiful and functional, the neighborhood is amazing.

We, a family of four, two adults and our daughters, 9 and 13, had a wonderful 10 days stay in this special, restored house that provides all the modern comfort one would expect. We went regularly with the bicycles in Amsterdam (around 40 minutes ride time up to the museums area, including the free cross with the ferry that comes every 5 minutes or so) and we also explored all the attractions around Landsmeer recommended by our very nice and careful hosts. We strongly recommend any open air activities in the former swamp area and particularly towards/in Twiske. We also drove two times to the Seaside and one time to Volendam (to see the Marken island). We rented the adults bikes at a very convenient price from the hosts.
Of course in Landsmeer you don't immediately have the Amsterdam vibe but the city remains accessible and you also gain access to the natural areas around it..
We do not recommend the Chinese restaurant in Landsmeer. The prices are higher than in Amsterdam and the food is not that special. :)

Typical dutch house in nice village. Flat is fully equipped and nothing is missing.
Close to any nature walks, shops are near. Visit the Amsterdam by rented bike was just fun.

Ivette and Dimitri are a lovely couple and the most wonderful hosts in the world. We felt very much at home.
The apartment is very tastefully decorated in a vintage style.
The kitchen equipment is outstanding for a vacation rental. Never have seen such a completeness before. Ivette has really thought of everything for self-sufficiency - just perfect! This place is highly recommended.
Landsmeer is an excellent starting point for many activities, especially by bike e.g. Markermeer with the cute Monnickendam and touristy Volendam, the windmills of Zaanse Schans, Alkmaar, Bloemendaal aan Zee with the hippest beach bars of Holland and of course Amsterdam. It is about 10-15 minutes by bike to the docks, where you can take the free ferry to the center. But the bus also starts just a few meters from home.
Ivette and Dimitri, thank you very much for the beautiful days and memories, you have presented to us.

Ivet was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information about the area. It is a very beautiful place to stay. The apartment is located in the front part of the farmhouse and had been recently renovated to a very high standard. The owners live in the rear of the farmhouse and were kind enough to give a tour of the whole place. Amazing to see all the beautiful historic details with modern amenities.
Communication with the owners was quick, clear and easy.
Travel to the city centre is rapid with regular public transport. Landsmeer village is nice and has a few good restaurants and supermarkets all within easy walking distance.
Next time I am in Amsterdam I will definitely stay here again.
