You are right at the start of the Trinidad Head trail, which winds around the head and overlooks the majestic Pacific - it can be a great place to spot whales! Fish all day and come back and relax in the comfort of this home. The location is perfect to be a part of this excellent fishing village. This vacation rental is great for dining out or preparing small meals at the house since there is no oven or formal dining room, but there is a four-burner stove. Things to Know: Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Security camera details: Cameras point outward from home facing the driveway. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This little house is right on the water with an awesome view. The restaurant, shops, grocery store, multiple beaches, and trails are all within walking distance. You can tell the place is a bit older, but it was very clean. The host was very responsive and friendly. We had a great trip, enjoying both the coast and the Redwoods.

We loved this property so much that I don’t want to rate it with 5 stars so that everyone else knows about it! In all seriousness, our stay was so wonderful that we booked it for another 8 days over Thanksgiving.

I have booked this property several times over the years and love it because of its unique position above Trinidad harbor pier, several beaches and Trinidad Head. Everything is within close walking distance and the tranquil sounds of the ocean waves will help rock you to sleep at night. The house is older but has a more modern studio apartment that you can rent that has updated ADA compliant bathroom and shower. In my situation, we had an 82-year-old grandmother come along and stay in the studio. She was perfectly comfortable and nobody had to go anywhere to enjoy the ocean. We had a few booking difficulties to begin with, some miscommunications, But Vacasa resolved them all and the facility manager came to meet us on site. It was all good.

The location and views of this home are spectacular. I love the modern old school feeling. The hike up the Head was fun too. Sunsets, fishing boats, delicious food, agate hunting, peacefulness and sunshine. We will return sooner then later.

The location was wonderful but we ran into some issues. The proper keys were not in the lockbox so this involved a 30 minute call and an overall hassle after driving 8 1/2 hours to get to the property.
This was the most expensive house for us on our 12 day vacation so I believe some things need to be improved. The property needs to have a coded entrance instead of relying on keys. The front and back door locks were corroded from the salt air, the coffee cups were chipped and the shower door didn't close all the way. For the price, it's time to upgrade some of the little things that make a place truly wonderful.

Perfect beach getaway
We love Trinidad, and this was the perfect house to spend a few nights enjoying the beach. Cute older house with character, love the simple decor and colors. Quick walk to the beach, can watch the boats and fishing at the pier from the deck. Everything is a quick walk or drive from the property. Love listening to the ocean and smelling the fresh ocean air from your deck, as well as the hot tub. Very comfortable inside, a nice place to eat meals. Only nitpicks is only decaf coffee provided for the Keurig, and the shower could use a new fixture. But we will definitely come back next time we are in town.

AMAZING LOCATION!!
The location is absolutely amazing and it is very private. Beach just below and another one down the driveway on the other side. A great little hike is practically outside the front door, just up the hill from the driveway. Restaurant down below, as well as yummy cafes and restaurants a short walk away. Also a grocery store with good selection of items and great little shops. We found out that you can walk from the cafes/restaurants down to the beach and follow the beach back to the house. The house was spacious and we cooked a couple of meals in the kitchen. The jacuzzi was the cherry on top. We will absolutely be back!!

Such a sweet place
We had a great time here. Its super fun, amazing view, beds are comfy with the sounds of the ocean crashing in the background. Will keep coming back.
