The place was very cozy. The antiques were awesome. My 4 year old granddaughter loved the hot tub and the bears that she saw roaming around. Jan was very nice also.

We absolutely loved our stay at a Precious Place!! It was so enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing. Our boys absolutely loved the game room and hot tub and we enjoyed the short drive to the Gatlinburg strip. We would absolutely stay in this same house in the future and have already recommended it to some of our friends planning a Tennessee trip soon!!

Cute, clean house with all the amenities you might need including laundry. Nice hot tub. 2 bathrooms. Located minutes from the downtown area.

Overall the stay was nice. Eclectic inside with antique furniture and nice ambiance with the lighting inside and outside.
Furniture is antique so not quite as comfortable as newer but still nice. Cozy place and clean.

We loved the atmosphere of the place. It was clean, cutely decorated, comfortable beds and pillows, comfortable furniture, and in a location close to town.

Seemed to be a nice place years ago, but now not so much. Hot tub is luke warm and bubbles do not work, only positive it's private. The water only last about half an hour at the most for hot water, if you can get the broken shower knobs in both bathrooms to work. No hood in kitchen, so do not cook anything extensive. Fridge opens on its own regularly because it is not level. Not place for kids lots of breakables. Lots of furniture all over house. Really crowded and mostly worn out. Leaking pipe above washer and dryer. Spiders bites every night. Found multiple roaches in the dishes in the Cunard. Does not look like it has been dusted in months, cobwebs everywhere. Bedrooms look like they were decorated for teenagers from from 70s, not really romantic. No smoking anywhere on property but ash trays everywhere. Dart board worn out, fuseball table warped, and the air hockey table never worked, plugged into an extension with lots of cords, unsafe and confusing. Not within walking distance of anything. Best part was house nice and quiet it was. The outside looks lovely, but does not match inside. The owner lives in same stone driveway so not as private as it comes acrossed in the information. They leave u alone for the most part, but do seem to do yard with you there, and do not inform you. This place has a lot of promise, but over the years has not been maintained for the price.

The house is comfortable and close to town. Only issue we had was a non flushing toilet. Bears greet you but did not get to close. We enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg .

We rented here for 3 nights, one of our nights we spent the top of Mt Leconte. It was in a prefect spot us to relax before and after our long hikes.
Hot tub was a wonderful quick way to refresh our muscles. House was well equipped and clean. Bears were quite active. Just keep your distance, they just want yummy nuts.

The home itself was cozy. The hosts were exceptionally fantastic. I did lock myself out once and the husband was more than happy to let me back in. Also, the wife left a book that she thought I would enjoy given my field of work. The entire experience was fantastic! House is minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, and I never had an issues at all with traffic.

Great stay, Beautiful area, was visited by a brown bear by the name of Pigeon toe. The house was loaded with personality with the porches, hot tub, game room, and friendly neighbors.. The only change that we would like is more coffee (Kuehrig) if at all possible, sugar, and clean the cobwebs on the ceiling. We will be back truly a great visit and look forward to the next one.

A beautiful place located away from the noise, hustle and bustle, but close enough to downtown Gatlinburg if you desire. Also a great location to the National state park entrance. The cottage is located across the street from the dense woods and is very pretty. The cottage has many amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable, and roku. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot, etc. Washer, dryer on premises. Air conditioner worked well which was necessary to use due to the high temperatures and 100% humidity. Two decks for sitting outside is available. One of the decks is covered which was nice to sit out on in the evening after the rain. The beds were firm, but comfortable. Also has a game room and hot tub. We did not use the hot tub. Know that bears are active in the area. Three days we saw them walking down the road in front of the cottage right where the hot tub is located both in the morning and evening. Before you jump in the car, check your surroundings. We enjoyed the surrounding areas including North Carolina. We definitely will be back.

It was honestly breathtaking. We had such an amazing time up there in Gatlinburg. The hot tub was fantastic and the cabin itself was beautiful. It was just what we needed to get out for the weekend. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again without a doubt!!

Cottage was very cozy and inviting and had all the amenities you could ask for. Although the neighbors are relatively close, the owner has done a lot to keep it feeling very private -- and we actually only saw one neighbor during our stay. One of my favorite places we've stayed and would definitely go back.

My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend and let me tell you, this cabin is absolutely beautiful! As soon as we walked in, it felt like being home, it had just a cozy, comfy feeling where we felt we could really relax! Not to mention the cabin had EVERYTHING you could possibly need! Cooking ware to spare spices; cabinets full of the things you may typically need if you were at home cooking! One other favorite of ours was the inclosed hot tub, great for privacy away from the bears and a few steps away from the house! Everyone was so friendly and the area very quiet! We loved our stay and experience and will definitely be booking this cabin again for our next TN trip!

Family vacation
Me and my husband decided to try something new this year for our spring vacation with our children . We had never been to Gatlinburg before. We did a little research and found this lovely little home to rent. The price was great for everything included. The cabin was very homey, it had a game room for the kids, plenty of room for all of us, a jacuzzi, and sweet little notes all over left by the lovely owners. The cabin was close to everything in Gatlinburg but still secluded and quiet at the same time. We even got to see the local wildlife. The porches are great in the morning to sit on with a hot cup of coffee and a warm blanket. The kitchen was fully stocked with all our cooking utensil needs. The bedrooms are a great size and there is two full bathrooms. Me and my family enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will definitely be returning again. One thing I would say is if you plan on doing ripleys aquarium make sure u buy ur tickets online it saves so much time, also parking downtown was pretty expensive so try to take the trolley if possible.

Precious mountain retreat
We loved our stay in this home. The decor is very cute. Our kids loved the TVs. There are 4 TVs and they could each watch their own. I loved the private hot tub to soak in after our long hike to Rainbow Falls. Gatlinburg is only 5-10 minutes from this cabin and we enjoyed ice skating at Ober mountain, Wonderworks and Hatfield and McCoy dinner show. The owners of this cabin live close and are very responsive to any needs. I couldn't find the towels in the bathroom, they were under the sink cabinet. My kids told me they had looked in all the cabinets and didn't see any so I called the number the owners left and she immediately told me where the cleaners put them and we had plenty of towels for our 4 nights that we stayed. There were even extra sheets for the beds in the sun room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we all slept great there. The heat and air conditioner worked as expected. In spring one day was in the upper 70s and when we returned it was 78 degrees inside so we turned the AC on for a little bit and it cooled off quick. But in evenings it was pretty chilly so we had the heat on a little and it worked great. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. I would definitely recommend this place.

We traveled from out of state and arrived a half hr early. We reached out to Mgt and asked if we could drop our bags. They stated there were no early check-ins period. We arrived at the property since it was on the way. Clearly all cleaning had been done and no one was there. Even though we had the code to enter, we just sat in the driveway until the check-in time. Now I travel for my job and arrive at hotels many times early because of flight times. If the room is ready, the hotel has no problem checking me in. The request here was for a half hr early.
We proceed to move in and can't connect to the Wfi. I contact mgt. and ask for help. They give me the password again and I tell them I've tried it along with different versions(caps, lower case, etc). I explain I need it to saty connected to my business and there was no cell service. They say someone will be out that evening. No one does. I contact them about 9pm and ask what happened. They have no excuse and say someone will be out the next morning. The next morning I contact them at 10am and ask where they are. They say maintenace will take 2hrs to get there. I finally explain to them that they were so strict about my check in time that it's sad when I need them to deliver and do what they say they're going to do they fail. Especially when it's work related. And of course maintence shows up when we're eating. Guy was very nice and apologized for interrupting.
At first glance the "cabin" had a country "shabby chic" appearance. Neighbors though are right on top of you and while we were waiting in the drive way the next door neighbor decideded to come out and "inspect" the siding of her house. We got the feeling that the neighbors live in their homes and don't like the fact this former home has been turned into an air B&B. My wife found used soap in the shower and the bedrooms get unevenly warm at night with the back bedrooms getting very warm while the far bedrooms were cold.
Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay. The kitchen was nice with pretty much all items needed for cooking. The living room had one very comfy couch, one OK couch and three uncomfortable chairs.
Bottom line: we wouldn't stay here again because of mgt. and the fact that we were staying in a residential community with people that lived in their homes. Theres types of short term rentals should be banned in these areas. I wouldn't appreciate it.
