2000 GMC Safari Camper Conversion
About this campervan rental
Nestled in Sonoma, this attractive campervan for R 2,938 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Small campervan for small people - room for two.
I bought a cargo van for my work tools, and then Covid happened. So I ended up doing a conversion into a campervan, because what else is there to do? The bed is 66" long so tall people can't stretch out. There's enough room to sleep a second person on the floor. The bed folds into a couch, and underneath a sink and propane stove pull out the rear doors. There's a 7 gal water tank and can also be hooked up to city water. No hot water, sorry.
There's a 110V system which runs the air conditioner and a 3 outlet plug inside - so you can run a small room heater. As long as you can plug in comfort is guaranteed. Between the front seats is a 26qt refrigerator. There is also a USB/12V charger.
I'm pet friendly to friendly pets. One-way rental is possible, but the exception, and would need to negotiate. *Edit* I didn't know that one-way rental are a thing on this site, & I get asked about SF to Portland/Seattle a lot. I'm not set up for that and it's very expensive because I need to take time off work to fly up there and retrieve it.
**There are specific rates for Burning Man:**
$225 per day, five day minimum
Cleaning fee of $600 - the dust gets EVERYWHERE and is corrosive, so even the underside will need a detail - basically it has to go on a lift in addition to the extensive detail required.
Security deposit of $3000.
Diver needs to be verified before booking is confirmed.
