Renovated top floor apartment in the heart of the downtown Rockport historic district on the water with private beach access (seasonal) and parking. Large open kitchen with center island table and cathedral ceiling surrounded by reclaimed wooden beams. Living room opens to deck overlooking water. One master bedroom and private full bathroom. One full guest bathroom. Large loft with additional beds and play/work space. (ladder to loft and low ceiling height may not be ideal for use by all guests). Central AC/Heat, heated bathroom floors. All new appliances, furniture, fixtures, etc. Owned and operated by the host. NOTE - Prime Summer (late Jun through early Sep) is weekly Sat to Sat check-in/check-out. Please also consider our new listing #2963332 in same building. Note about service fees, taxes and payment: "Service fee" is VRBO fee. "Tax" is District - Rockport township Accommodations Tax, State - Massachusetts Accommodations Tax. We do not receive any of this fee or tax payment. We do not get paid until you arrive. Place was very nice. The host, another story. He was "away from his computer" over the holiday. He never once answered his phone and hie voice mail was always full. My wife and I would have checked out early at a normal hotel but since we paid in advance we felt trapped and on our own. For the amount of money we were paying this was a huge disappointment and affected our holiday negatively. We will have to think twice about using VRBO again.

My family and I stayed in this stunning apartment overlooking Rockport’s ocean for a weekend visit, celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday. The stay was exactly as advertised, if not more. To wake up each morning to the view and sounds of Front Beach in Rockport was exquisite. This was an absolute memorable stay.

We had the greatest time staying here. Pictures do not do it justice, the apartment is lovely and more spacious than we expected. The porch/deck overlooking the beach is fantastic, with lovely views day and night. All of the furniture was very comfortable, the amenities were great and the whole space was immaculately clean. The location cannot be beat, all of Rockport is within easy walking distance. We loved staying here and give it our highest recommendation.

Perfect location on the water in the middle of town. Nice semi-private beach at low tide. Beautiful remodel with two full baths … contemporary and well furnished with premium appliances. Loft with two beds fine for teens. Owner communicates well and provides everything you need.

Very lovely apt. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, only 2 days of sun, but we made the best of it. Missed being able to grill outdoors, but was very happy with the apt. and all that went with it.

This rental is perfection. Every detail has been considered, it is spotlessly clean, and the deck over the ocean is magical. The private steps go right down to a quiet little slice of beach during low tide, and during high tide the sound of the waves on the rocks elicit pure relaxation. Andrew is a wonderful host, and he went out of his way to make our week perfect. This rental is all of 5 stars and more! We cant wait to visit again next year.

What an incredible place! The apartment is exactly as advertised, and even better in person than in the photos. Right on the water, with a spectacular view. Even though it’s in the center of town above an art gallery, it is amazingly quiet. It’s fully furnished and equipped, with everything you need. Andrew was helpful and quickly responsive. This apartment was a delight, and we will long remember our special week in Rockport.

My family of four lived this property. Very clean, modern, and the view! Gorgeous! We spent a lot of time on the balcony. Very close to restaurants - Brothers Brew (coffee/donuts/pastries) is delicious.

Gorgeous view. High end appliances. Everything you need is provided. Walk to everything. Loft not that easily accessible so something to keep in mind. Stairs are pretty steep. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was beautiful - clean and modern. Location was superb, right on the beach so that we could hear the ocean and the birds, feel the nice breeze. Close to really wonderful, quaint shops. We were able to run to the state park and see all of the cute homes. Purchased fresh fish for dinner, which was superb! Needed this vacation!!
Backing into the parking area was a bit of a trick with our SUV... so be aware of this possible challenge.
We were confused about how to enter the front door, so we called the owner. The owner seemed a bit confused about our confusion. LOL
After he understood why we were confused, things seemed to go a bit smoother.
Overall, we were quite happy.

This was a wonderful stay! The place was just as described in the listing and the prior reviews. Perfectly clean, comfortable and the incredible view of the ocean was exactly what I was hoping to enjoy during our off-season seaside getaway. We took nice chilly walks through Rockport, got great coffee and sandwiches from the cafe steps from the apartment and drove into Gloucester and Manchester by the Sea for dinner. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Andrew was a great host. Everything was as listed. The condo was super-clean, and Andrew thought of everything that you'd need. We like to cook (the fresh fish is amazing in Rockport!) so we usually have to bring a lot of our own cooking accessories to any rentals (things like good knives, cutting boards, etc). However, Andrew had really thought about anything you would need. Add that to the view and location, and you couldn't ask for more!

A beautifully designed space with clean modern lines and luxe accommodations. The location combines the easy accessibility to food, arts and culture with being immersed in beautiful ocean views from the balcony. The house has thoughtful and comfortable appointments, it's bright and airy with lots of windows you can open to experience the sea breezes - a full kitchen, cushions for the balcony chairs plus a candle lantern to watch the sun set. A great spot for enjoying a New England getaway all within a few minutes, from walk up windows to get lobster or a breakfast burrito, to private beach access and sandy shorelines. Andrew is a great host, both reliable and responsive. Whether you feel like being in the mix or have a moment of Zen watching the tides and sailboats, Andrew's space delivers with the comforts of home.

Amazing location right on Front Beach and walking distance to all the stores/restaurants downtown. The penthouse is newly renovated and gorgeous! Our favorite spot was the covered deck! Would definitely come back again.

a bit of paradise!
This is my 3rd time coming to Rockport. I think I have found a perfect spot! Within walking distance to Bearskin Neck with all its shops and restaurants, a stone's throw from the beach, surrounded by art galleries and the arts center. And yet very private. Will definitely rent again if available! Thank you, Andrew.

We had the most incredible time at Andrew's property. Not only is the VRBO beautifully designed but it was the cleanest property we have rented. My kids (7 and 9) loved sleeping in the loft area. Amazing vacation
We had the most incredible time at Andrew's property. Not only is the VRBO beautifully designed but it was the cleanest property we have rented. My kids (7 and 9) loved sleeping in the loft area. You can’t ask for more
We were so impressed with this property. It was clean, modern, stylish, quiet, and best of all, excellent location. You can’t ask for more. The pictures and description are completely accurate. And it was stocked with all the necessities.
The deck overlooks the beach below (Front Beach) and you have direct access to the beach which made going there very easy for us and our kids. It was quick and easy to walk back up to the house to grab something or get a bite to eat, then come back to the beach.
My kids loved the loft. They are 8 and 10 years old, so they were able to walk around standing up, and got up and down the ladder with no problem.
And the location is perfect! Right in town, in walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We even walked to the regional train station and did a day trip to Boston.
We were there for 4th of July and the parade marched right in front of the house, and it was a couple minute walk to the other beach (Back Beach) for the festivities.
Rockport is a beautiful town and this property made our stay perfect.

Wonderful Stay!
Our stay was perfect. Clean, updated, beautiful place in a perfect location with an incredible view. Couldn't ask for much more. Andrew was accommodating of us when something came up and he was able to move the timing of some work on the condo so it didn't disturb our stay, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place!
This property was truly a treat to stay in! The downtown location is perfect-just a short walk to shops and restaurants and yet quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. And the view from the covered deck was everything we had hoped it would be. The apartment itself was lovely. You can tell that whoever designed the space and did the work was very good at their job. My sister and I spent a very relaxing weekend there and are hoping to come back next year!

We had a great stay! The location is great, unit remodel is pretty new and nice. Others’ comments about the loft are accurate. It’s doable but only for certain ages, heights and agility. Would stay again!
