EASY BEACH ACCESS IN A COMFORTABLE PRIVATE HOME - 2024 Full Home Renovation Just Completed - All new luxury bathrooms and modern open concept kitchen with large island. Walk out the front door to beautiful Driessen Beach Park, just 100 yards away, and a short boardwalk stroll to the sand. Driessen Beach is a quiet locals beach, away from the crowds. You will also have the seclusion and beauty of a modern, updated home with a private heatable pool and a spacious deck and patio, where you can relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the nature preserve behind our house. The perfect home for families, friends (and dogs!). This well-maintained private home is comfortable inside and out, including 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a large dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. You'll also find the comforts of home such as Flat Screen Smart-TV's, Cable and High Speed Internet/WiFi. On the outside, walk out from the living room to our 12x21 deck, perfect for relaxing, grilling, and dining while enjoying the quiet of the beautiful nature preserve. Walk down the steps to enjoy the rest of our backyard oasis - sit in and watch TV in our new covered paver patio area, and swim in the private pool, all in a private, fenced-in yard. The Pool can be heated for your comfort during your stay. The best part of our home is its location - a four-minute walk to the beach through beautiful Driessen Beach Town Park - a hidden gem on Hilton Head Island. It features a fun modern playground for the kids, comfort stations, outdoor showers, a foot rinse station, and a four-minute walk to the beach on an elevated boardwalk through a beautiful, undisturbed natural area. You'll also find whatever you need for the beach, including chairs, toys, and carts available for your use in the basement of our home. We are also dog-friendly ($300/week). House Details: First Floor: Kitchen completely updated in 2022 with new appliances and a large island for eating and gathering. Also, updated laundry room with a large new washer and dryer. Spacious living room with 65-inch Flat Screen Smart-TV, large sectional sofa, and dining area for 10. Bedroom 1: First Floor Master Bedroom, King Bed, Flat Screen, Smart TV, Master bath completely renovated in 2022 with new luxury shower and vanity. Bedroom 2: Second Floor, Master Bedroom, King Bed, Flat Screen TV, with a newly renovated luxury Private Bathroom with a beautiful tile shower/tub combo and vanity room with LED mirror. Bedroom 3: Second Floor, Two Queen Beds, Flat Screen Smart-TV, Newly Renovated Luxury Bathroom with large tile shower and LED mirrors. Bedroom 4: Second Floor, Two Queen Beds, Flat Screen Smart-TV, Newly Renovated Luxury Bathroom with large tile shower and LED mirrors. Private Pool - Dimensions: 17' x 6' 5-foot depth (Heated - additional fee $300/week) Parking for 2 cars in driveway and 2 in garage. Doorbell camera for security. Sleeps 12 comfortably. *RENTERS BEWARE*. Upon arrival in Hilton Head, we decided to head to the beach to see the “quiet and uncrowded” area that was described in the listing. Only we found the exact opposite. The beach was COMPLETELY packed as far as you could see, due to the street being attached to a public access parking lot, and the boardwalk was shared with the huge hotel next door. We decided to go get dinner and try again later, then we were so excited to finally see our rental after getting a message saying the house was clean and ready. THIS IS WHERE THE HORROR STARTS. My fiancé and I showed up to the house before the rest of the family to find used bandaids, tissues, cups, and unexplained stains in our bedroom. The rest of the family arrived to find DOG POOP and dog hair in their rooms and on their sheets. We messaged the owner to let him know of the filth we had walked into, just for him to ask me if “I want to clean it or do I want the cleaners to come back to do it?” Of course I asked for the cleaners to come back and clean it, then I was told that it was my fault for showing up to early and rushing the cleaners. After arguing back and forth about the cleaners mistake, the owner decided if we don’t like the house then we are not allowed to stay in it, and requested VRBO to cancel our 7 day reservation. We were left with no backup plan 7 hours away from home. Luckily we got a refund after hours on the phone, but were left with no home or hotel to go too. Awful experience never rent here

House was great for us. Every family has direct access to a bathroom and beds were big enough for all. (4) adult couples and (4) children. Large sectional was the spot to be when everyone was winding down. Large dining table was our gaming table. Kitchen was large enough but did get congested when everyone wanted to be around the island cooking snacking and talking.
Location was even better than anticipated. We were on a street that ended into a state beach access with good facilities. It was not overly busy. We walked past about (4 or 5) neighbors into the park and onto the boardwalk. Loved it. Very safe.
We did need the owner’s help during the stay and he was very quick to help.

This was our second stay at this home and it was another amazing week! It’s our new favorite on HHI. We loved relaxing in the private pool, the quick walk to the beach, and playing cards at both the indoor and outdoor seating spaces. Kitchen has plenty of cooking tools if you want to stay in but also close to lots of great dining options. Owner is very kind and responsive!

Comfortable, plenty of space, very short walk to the beach and a welcoming pool and backyard to relax in. Our first family vacation in many years .. we certainly picked the right property and sad to leave!

We have been coming too HH for over 20 years. This was the first time we have not stayed in one of the plantations. Everything about our stay was perfect. The property is represented online exactly how it really is. It was extremely clean when we arrived. There were a couple minor things that John took care of immediately. He was very responsive and interested that things were perfect. The beach and park are close and very clean. We will definitely be back!!

Great spot for our family vacation. Super close lto a beach park with great amenities and easy and accessible route into the beach. Swimming pool and patio in the back yard perfect for quick pop ins between the usual HH summer rain storms. Updated home with everything you’ll need. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent property in the perfect location on Hilton Head. The house was perfect for our family group of 6 adults and 4 children ages 8 months to 5 years. Short walk to the beach and a nice in-ground pool. The owners were easy to contact, promptly replied to questions and were a wealth of information. My one son-in-law described our week there as "epic" and I agree!

The house was perfect for our family and pup. The backyard was fenced in with a pool which we really appreciated after a long day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, it’s only a 5-7 minute walk with a beautiful board walk in a park setting. We grilled out on the back deck almost every day and it was so nice to sit out there in the evenings with our family.

This property could not have been more perfect for our spring break stay with our kids and pup. It is a lovely house with a beautiful new reno, great fenced yard with a pool, surrounded by nature yet close to everything you could want. A 5-10 minute walk down to the amazing beach. The house is stocked with all you need for a big family or two smaller families to share. The owners were so very helpful and responsive with respect to any questions or needs. This was our first visit to HHI and we are so happy we picked this property to stay. We will be coming back for sure!

This was our first experience with VRBO. Check in and out process was a breeze. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and was easy to contact before, during, and after our stay. The house was very spacious and in a great location the beach and to the restaurants and activities around town. Pool was a bit small but still plenty of fun for the kids. I would book this house again.

Seeing my brother and his family was the best part of our trip, but the location and space found in this wonderful home made our week so much more memorable. Beach was a close and easy walk. Everything about this home was comfortable, and the owner was quick to answer questions (so very nice). Would definitely visit again!!!!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and management. The property was very clean upon arrival, beautifully maintained and had lovely decor. It was spacious and perfect for our large family to stay. When we had questions, the manager was very response, friendly and polite. There was a wonderful beach cart to make bringing our items to the beach a breeze. Plenty of seating, eating space, and a sweet little pool in the back for the kids to cool off. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we hope to stay there again!

Quiet place on HHI
The home was very clean and great for family. The backyard is lovely and quiet and we enjoyed spending hours in the shade under the second story deck. The pool is small but perfect for kids. The owners were great to work with and very responsive.
