Simba Run is one of our favorite places to stay in the Vail Valley. We love the pool, and the West Vail location, close to the grocery store and the pedestrian bridge over I-70.
The condo was decently stocked and there is a grill on the patio. The queen beds were comfortable. As is the case at Simba, the middle of July can be warm. There is no A/C and ventilation can be tricky, but Vail cools off at night to help with keeping the condo comfortable.
While this condo is dated compared to others at Simba, for a family it feels more comfortable and homey. It worked super well for us.

Good spot with everything you need for a 3 day staycation. Would book again.

This was a very spacious clean home with great amenities included.
And what a great location to Vail and the highway.

The property was clean, the hot tub was hot, and the shuttle to the slopes was frequent and friendly.

We love the convenience of Simba Run and how easy it is to get around with the use of the shuttles. Drivers were all very pleasant. The unit itself didn't have street noise - so we enjoyed the quiet. The stairs were not something we looked forward to especially after skiing hard all day. We had a member of our group with a knee injury & it was very uncomfortable for him to go up & down the stairs. The unit is very dated, as you can see by the photos. It wasn't as clean as we would have expected. We stayed here for 2 weeks and expected a refresh of things; however, that didn't happen. Toilet paper supplies didn't even last a week, yet alone 2 weeks. We weren't able to use the wash machine because no one from our group could turn the water on for the wash machine. So, it was just an OK place to stay.

No mention of unit having inside stairs to access everything but the smaller second bedroom. The stairs also have a landing halfway up that incorporates a step resulting in two falls going down the stairs during our stay. Otherwise a 3 or 4 star rating. No closet space in main bedroom due to a cot crammed in it. Worn out carpet and cracked tile in the bathroom. Stains on the couch. Dishwasher didn't clean and some dirty dishes in the cabinet. That was rectified after I dissembled the upper and lower wands in the dishwasher and cleaned the plugged holes. On the plus side Simba shuttle and local bus makes the village accessible while staying on the other side of the Interstate where stays are more reasonable on the pocketbook. Two hot tubs were nice although the inside one was not that hot. Outside tub is hot and large! We are simple folk so this unit was OK for us except for the inside stairway as we are older and one non-skier has bad knees. Owner was responsive to restocking some simple but missing kitchen supplies. View is awesome although you will hear older semi engine brakes due to the proximity of the highway.

1) another, much more updated condo was advertised but this is the one we ended up with!
2) not only is the carpet dirty, there are multiple spots where there are no transition strips and the carpet has freyed and there are multiple carpet staples sticking straight up where you walk! Broken tile on bathroom floor. Cabinet doors were sticky. Baseboards filthy. The cheapest finishings used throughout.
The condo was spacious and has nice views from the deck, but needs a complete deep clean & overhaul!

The condo had all the basic necessities. Condo a bit outdated but everything worked fine for us. sofa bed and cot were nice to have to spread out sleeping arrangements a little better. Nice little view off the deck. The big Community swimming pool and hot tubs were nice to have him.

Location was disappointing, hard to get to the venue for concerts and over to Vail Village for restaurants and shops. The furniture was run down and the carpeting was frayed and the furniture was heavily worn. The price was high for the state of the property. We will not return.

Property location is fantastic, and the free shuttle to Vail is super convenient. Unit needs a major renovation. Some mold on the ceiling in the shower, dust coating the blinds…turn the fan on and dust everywhere in the air. Carpet in the downstairs bathroom….stains on the couches. Overall just never felt super comfortable or clean.

This place has all you would need for a week-long stay (or longer). Yes, it is dated but clean. Once you get a hang of the shuttle situation, it couldn't be more convenient
