The Staff were friendly and helpful and were also fluent in English. The hotel was clean and spacious and we had a good night's sleep. It was also walkable from the main train station and having a reception open for late check-in was important in our situation.

The hotel had parking facilities, which was needed as the local area was choka and no on street parking was available
The room (248) stank! we let reception know about this when we went out for the evening and when we returned the bathroom had some disinfectant put down the toilet and the smell remained. It was a horrid smell, not like a normal drain smell but more of an acidic smell that took your breath away. Nonetheless, we fell asleep and when we woke up it was still there. had a shower in a shower cubicle that a small child would struggle in as it was that small, and the breakfast consisted of: a hot drink in a plastic cup handed to you by the receptionist (drinks machine under their control at all times) some fruit drink cartons and some pastries. Pastries were fresh though which was the only bonus. this hotel is more of a hostel tbh. suppose for a 1 night stay if your passing through Milan it'll do but wouldn't recommend a longer stay. and stay away from room 248!

The men at the reception were incredibly kind and helping.
No AC during the extremely hot summer, no shower curtains at some rooms (just the shower in a room), just overall less than what we expected for the price and a place calling itself hotel, not hostel.

just a standard room
breakfast table at breakfast could have dirty dishes cleared from tables quicker as all were full of dishes when we arrived and attendant was sat behind counter doing ?

Big and clean room. Good wifi. Breakfast was good. Tram is 7-10 mins walk
Location was 15 mins walk from Milan central station. No lift so had to carry my own luggage on first floor. Cannot drink tap water so had refill my bottle but there was no water in breakout area at night.

Nice continental breakfast - great coffee / croissants
Rooms - nice size - family of 5 - nice bathroom and shower .
Very clean - fresh smell
Nice to see side non tourist side of Milan
Nice Italian restaurants close by
No air-conditioning---- just a plug in fan - noisy

Room was big enough for 5 people. Very clean for a 1 star hotel. Breakfast could be better.

nothing
i was not able to get my room because there was no one at the reception when I arrived, I called multiple times and there was no answer. I had to find a last minute hotel and I never got a refund

Check in was very easy. It's a short walk from the Train station and there are lots of little places around to get food, snacks, sundries. Easy in and out during the day and night. Included breakfast too. Bonus.
The shower did not close properly. It was also a little on the small side. Bed is ok. Still, it's a good budget option for staying in Milan. Easy to get to transport and it's quiet at night, so still recommend.

Location
This is one step above a hostel with ridiculous pring. $317 for one night. Office in basement with plenty of steps going down and then up to room. Tough with luggage. Included breakfast was a cup of coffee, a croissant and a small yogurt.

The hotel is further away from the train station than we expected. But there is lots of lovely bars around the hotel and laundromat is not far. The beds were clean and comfortable and the wifi strong in the room. The room was well cleaned each day. The staff were very lovely and so very sweet. Our daughter was sick 2 nights in a row and they helped us out with clean sheets and extra towels in the middle of the night and checked in on how she was every morning.
There isn’t a lift so you have to haul up several flights of stairs. The bathroom was clean but the shower cubicle itself wasn’t, there was calcium build up and mould on the shower head, which wouldn’t stay up. And the door was broken to the very very teeny tiny cubicle!! There was also mould around the window frame but that is common with the heating/condensation in winter. The breakfast is basic, brioche and coffee, if you are slow or it’s busy you’ll miss out. But if you get it they are fresh and the coffee tasty.

Good value for money overall. It doesn't feel like a one start hotel to be honest, it would easily be a two or even a three star. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was some noise at night, but it's not the hotel's fault. By and large a good option if you want to save some money.

Big Rooms, clean and good strong shower. can be improved so you don’t have to hold the shower head but don’t forget the price. it’s a bargain.
overall no pitfalls! especially because it was so cheap and so good, clean and available.
